Not sure anybody cares, but just something I thought interesting upon seeing it again.

So, I thought I had deleted them all already, but I found one of the outtakes from the epilogue. This was the second version I had written. The first one had Nick speaking directly to Meerci, the meerkat head chef of Canopy Glow, but I thought an epilogue was a very bad place to introduce an entirely new character. So I changed it up to Nick talking to Violet, but then it became very expository and there wasn't a lot of additional characterization for either of those two, so I just scrapped it.

Either way, both parts were going to be set-ups for the actual epilogue I had posted. In the end, it was just better without any sort of set-up.

I actually went back and didn't realize that the last chapter was set in the morning rather than evening. Huh.

I definitely agree that this doesn't really feel like it would fit anywhere in the main story, though I would have liked to see any other outtakes you did. There wasn't really anything in this but exposition, aside from that small moment where Violet went "Oh"; might be me looking too far into that, but that feels like a moment where it reaffirms to Violet that Nick was a good person even before he met Judy and that he is perfect for her little sister. Or that could just be an "Oh, huh" moment.

Problem with a lot of RP storytelling is its hard to make a story that involves people, that's basically like making an adventure game but without even getting to figure out your choices. Its fucking hard.
And RPing for the sake of RPing is fun and can be topical but holy fuck if someone is bad at it, its really bad and really awkward. You ever see two people try to improv without being trained? Its a horrible sight.

That was my issue as well. There were certain RP who were bearable for me, but some people would either go sexual or go boring to read. I distinctively remember some who would just go circles and the story would never develop, so it was boring to see it show up just to consume posts. Some would go too much wish fulfillment or just wouldn't explore the setting and rather just described a day of a normal person but specified species just so it was at least still furry.
