I got my identity back though, and as it turns out, I'm kinda rich, no clue what I did before, but whatever it was, it paid well.

The weirdest thing about being a Faller though is because I didn't live in Alola before, sometimes there's culture shock that doesn't make sense, like finding out people here use Pokemon to travel everywhere, rather than cars.

Well, the mega stones needed a bit extra genetic fuckery. I'm a pokemon genetic scientist, which I may add is basically a dead job at this point and a pokemon behavioral scientist,
Baaaaaaaaaasically you need to completely alter the genetic structure to make mega evolution possible. Rayquaza has an organ dedicated to mega evolving, whatever purpose that serves, don't ask me. Most other pokemon have a bit of genetic code that let the sudden change in body structure happen.
...Creating that in any pokemon would at the least leave them sterile at the most leave them in horrible amounts of pain.
So, uh, doable but 1 not within our lifespan, 2 with a lot of trouble.
