Honestly, there's not much for humans, besides befriending a Dark Type pokemon, I've heard rumors that certain metals are good at repelling psychic force, tin especially, but I wouldn't put trust in them.
The real way to stay safe is just to be on guard if you see a psychic, you can usually feel it if someone's trying to mess with your head, and if you're strong enough, you can at least resist enough to try and call for help.

My employer has multiple clients who are facing charges in the wake of Lt. Surge's crusade against improper Breeding practices.
Based of my discussion with the Route 34 Breeders in Johto and the fact patterns established, I believe these clients are not likely to be acquitted, even if the prosecution doesn't find anything that my clients withheld from us.
I feel that it is in the clients' best interest to take plea deals given the poor odds of beating the charges. They are convinced that their chances are far better than they are.
Thus, we are at an impasse.
