As a question to the lurkers and posters, just to spark a bit of back and forth, how would you say humans wound up in an anthro world or vice versa? Did they literally just show up? Did some event happen during which people got changed forever? Did they simply exist along side us for a long time?

I think, like in that bat story, the idea of being thrust into their world is interesting, especially since, if I remember right, it's stated there are very few humans. That means it isn't a solo case. A bunch of random people essentially pop into a new world one day, possibly due to interacting with something they didn't even realize they had touched.

I think the best explanation to the scenario in general is the "a bunch of humans got transported to an alternate dimension" shtick. It explains why the world is like ours but the animals now all walk around on two legs and talk.

Also, I prefer it when there are a multitude of humans transported over instead of just one. If there was just one, they'd probably get carted off to area 51 and dissected or some shit. That, and if there was only one human character, their humanity would pop up in every conversation because they're the only one of their kind. It would get in the way of character interactions.

This line feels more like a "robotic answering machine" type of response instead of a living being's one.
Like it could have been delivered with a bit more subtlety.
Example:

Seriously, way too many fapfics have such a shitty progression. This one feels natural, especially for a greentext. It has personality, the characters have too, even during the pure sex scenes where most other fics just turn into a generic copy-paste penis in vagina or mouth situation.
