Okay, I think got this one.
Larvesta take a long, long time to Evolve, and are a bit more vulnerable than Pokemon that Evolve earlier until they do.
So, first thing, trust is gonna be even more important than usual.
Second thing, be aware of their strengths and weaknesses, especially if you're battling. They're not going to have the bulk to take much punishment.
Third, be extra-careful about their nutrition. You fuck up there, you've got an unhappy, unhealthy bug-bro, and it might even undercut trust.

I used to work for some fucked up people. Did some things I'm not proud of, looked the other way on even worse.

So, I work in law. It's an interesting job, and I enjoy my work, but some clients go above and beyond to elevate the collective blood pressure of the office. This is one of their stories.

So. This client has a serious charge involving a Pokemon ordered to attack a human against them, and the plaintiff is an unnamed but highly influential person in my home Region.
First, the client initially wanted to plead not guilty despite the near-certain existence of video evidence as well as several eyewitnesses.
Next, the client had to be convinced not to approach the magistrate and request a change of court date for a social event.
This is one of the most jaw-droppingly foolish things I have heard thus far in my career.
Finally, the client began plea bargaining.
This is where the astounding luck comes in. The plaintiff and magistrate miraculously offer a deal which allows the client to avoid prison time altogether.
The client takes the deal without even thinking twice. Can you see where I am going with this?

The client was screaming at me today because she only just realized that the plea deal strips her of her Trainer's license. Permanently.
Please note that the client was charged with offenses relating to using a Pokemon to attack someone, in a public space, and that without the license revocation she would be almost assuredly in prison.
Her claim is that if she knew that her License would be revoked, she would have fought the charges in court.

There are no words to describe the willfully dense behavior on display.

I suspect that the plaintiff's current status as "buried up to his eyeballs in work" may have been relevant to his decision process. License revocation and probation was the fastest way to address the issue, though opinions vary on whether it is the most effective method.
