Need your help on a judgement call. I've been trying to sell my BGC for months for what I paid for it. Unfortunately I may have overpaid at 23m, as the price has taken a dip recently into 18-20m. Yeah, you can unequip them. You can also keep them after repainting your pet as long as you unequip them first so they aren't on the pet when you repaint them, I think. I have the halloween bori bone shell and claws in my wardrobe that way!

JN has it listed as 130k, so TP is the way to go, since you can only price things up to 99,999 in your shop.

Prices on TP are all over the place though, from 100k in items to 300k. I'd stick to the 130-150k range in my asking price.

When someone makes a bid on the TP, they have to offer to trade an item, but have the option to include up to 2 mil as well with their item. So when you get a bid, you'll probably have someone offer a garbage daily item, along with the amount in neopoints that you asked for.

It might take a while to sell though. Best of luck!

On the topic of cupcake training. A clraik user recently posted about having their account frozen for a different reason. They managed to get it unfrozen, but TNT had reverted EVERY stat of ALL of his pets to the lowest possible, because he had been cupcake training one of his pets. So current wisdom suggests that the best course of action is to not get frozen, because they will check for daily cupcake training.

How can they tell if a pet was being cupcake trained in the first place? What if a person was both using the Training School and doing cupcake training and they got frozen? I wonder if the guy who got his account frozen + pet stats reset was iced for making NP on multiple accounts. I ran into another user who got their pets unpainted/stats reset a long time ago and thats what they admitted to doing. If the same situation applies, the stat reset may be more of an isolated incident and the rest of us using cupcakes may be fine. I'm going to switch to getting cakes every other day from now on though, just to be safe.

Why do people sell half-eaten omelettes for more than full ones?

I'd assume they have more collector value. Odds are, most people discard or donate omelettes, even if they collect 'em, or toss 'em in the SDB.
Or they feed their pets all the other foods.
Or keep 'em in the Neolodge.

Thus, I'd bet that many omelettes never actually get a bite taken out of them, even if many people might collect omelettes.
It helps that sometimes the front page sometimes shows a link to the Giant Omelette, & it's one of the oldest, most well-known dailies.

So I'd assume that the case is that with more omelettes that never get eaten at all -in part or in whole- partially eaten omelettes are rarer than whole omelettes.
Thus, if partially eaten ones are rarer, they could sell for more, simply because of a slightly higher demand.

But they're still a prize from a daily, & a themed, classic item.
I don't know how many people would want to include partially eaten omelettes, even in, say, an omelette gallery -maybe for the sake of being thorough?- but I'd assume for many collectors that they'd rather just buy the omelettes -partially eaten or otherwise- that they need, rather than hope they get the right kind from their Daily Giant Omelette visits.

If it's only 2/3rds omelettes that sell for more & not 1/3rds, maybe they're priced higher in an attempt to fool customers looking to buy whole omelettes?

And whole or incomplete, omelette prices are low. It may be that people who go to a shop to buy 1 or 2 NP items for the Pack Rat Avatar may also end up buying other cheap "junk" while they're there.
