We've been restrained here for months. The living walls hold us with just enough give to let us move a little, and whatever is in the "milk" it feeds us seems to keep us healthy. It's been using us like cattle, filling us with eggs and semen, while extracting the milk our swollen breasts. Even the men are used like this, as most of their bodies have been slowly twisted into feminine shapes, better suited to carry the hive's young. They do still seem to have purpose for a few actual males, though. If I strain my neck, can just barely see around the corner, a sliver of the area where they're held. Their predicament doesn't seem very different from everyone else's. While they aren't constantly pregnant with fat, squirming larva, the shapes I half see looming over them are terrifying in their own right.
Whatever they're doing to us is still changing our bodies. I can see alien like traits developing on my fellow captives on the other side of the room. It was subtle at first, but now there are patches of carapace on most people's skin, new limbs growing from some of the girls, and all of our eyes have that same dull glow. At first, that glow was blinding, but as the changes continued, I found my vision was better in the dark confines of this living structure.

It's hard to tell if I'm going crazy, but the walls are starting to talk to me. It started as gibberish at first, but now it's coherent english, talking about service to the empire granting citizenship, or dialogue from old mob movies where a mook becomes a made man after doing something unsavory for the family. It's strangely comforting to think of it as the alien organism trying to telepathically communicate using metaphors extracted from... probably from our heads.

Good news is that we're not alone in the universe, better news is that these aliens are friendly. People pointed out that not only was Eronomicon a bit blandly designed, especially compared to Infected, it had less options, worse drawbacks, and too many arbitrary restrictions. It was limited in design and imagination, which was made worse by him hyping it up for weeks on end.

Nobody whined or complained, they straight up told him it wasn't very good in probably the most common and level-headed way I have EVER seen in many years. Then he proceeded to whine, be defensive in a manner befitting a teenager, then actually pulled the "well Reddit likes me" card.

The daywalking and glamour also helps me not only fit in with society, but also attracts targets. As long as I don't go too out of control, I could probably hide and live for eons

The only thing The End did for me was make me look back at Ergonomicon and realize that it was actually shit.

Like, I didn't really enjoy going through it the first time because I had trouble making a build. All of the things that I wanted ended up being in schools that I had virtually no points for, I figured that was more or less due to my weird fetishes.

Then as I looked back at it seeing what all the drama was really about I realized that it was more just because it was slapped together really haphazardly. Or maybe someone did put a lot of consideration into it, but they put it together in a way I wouldn't do if I was the one who had made it.
