For me it was more about my fate and pain and discomfort only really being a possible unfortunate side part of it.
I like at least flirting with fatal vore and the part I enjoy about it the most is giving the predator the control of your life - in a pretty literal "this is now yours to hold" way. And either way they choose, whether to keep it or let it go, it means something anyways.
For me. the concept itself being really hot always walks at the stakes with many gruesome details about itself. As made very easy with 2D, those scales are very easy to tip though. It's nowhere as limited as actually putting someone to sit in a dark, enclosed pool of stomach juices and just telling them to imagine they're in a warm bath. With fantasy, you can totally make up whatever you like, such as super speedy or super slow digestion where it doesn't hurt and you could even drink or breathe the stuff and to get affected by it at all and it could actually be the greatest thing ever to experience before you're absorbed in. This could go on into various directions from here but that's the gist of it.
There's no replacing the absurdity and the finality of fatal vore and I find those to be important features inherent to it.

Drool is interesting, I've only a pencil to work with so i don't do it often. But strands and to lines are usually the most of it outline wise, they always look like they're pulled by gravity, and they can branch off from their source. Just dive right in and give it a try anon, maybe separately to get a feel for it then add it to a maw.

I think one way to do it would be to look at how other artists do it, and try and emulate them, though >>10909010 seems like they have the right idea! Typically it's either drips, or it's strands. With coloring/shading, semi-transparent seems to typically be the way to go with these things. Alright. I definitely do pay a lot of attention to the works of other artists, but unfortunately in the art sphere there's such hostility towards "copying" that I'm almost scared that the way I'll draw is going to end up being too similar to an existing artist. From what I've heard copying to some extent is imperative to develop one's own style, but so much of the online art world has become really hostile.
I suppose if I surround myself in enough vore artists I'll be more likely to resemble a mix of them all as oppose to just one.
Anywho, I appreciate you guys for encouraging me to share my drawing. I rarely feel confident to posting something specifically for peer interaction and it's a welcoming change away from dumping it in a blog or gallery and only having one or two people see it in passing if lucky.
