You're correct, it's mostly that in earlier versions of the script many of the environments, such as Nick's apartment and his office at Wilde Times, have a more "lived-in" feel to them, with clutter and patched furniture. The late redo on the film probably didn't leave much time to "dirty up" the environments, I've seen that mentioned before in regards to the area around the abandoned subway station, which looks quite neat and tidy for a run-down section of Zootopia.

I saw Gideon Grey at a produce stand in Bunnyburrow yesterday. I told him how cool it was to meet him in person, but I didn’t want to be a douche and bother him and ask him for photos or anything.

I was taken aback, and all I could say was “Huh?” but he kept cutting me off and going “hauh? hauh? hauh? you scared, idjeeut?” and closing his claws shut in front of my face. I walked away and continued with my shopping, and I heard him chuckle as I walked off. When I came to pay for my stuff up at one stand I saw him trying to walk away with like fifteen baskets of raspberries in his hands without paying.
The bunny at the stand was very nice about it and professional, and was like “Sir, you need to pay for those first.” At first he kept pretending to be tired and not hear her, but eventually turned back around and brought them to the counter.
When she took one of the baskets and started weighting it, he stopped her and told her to weight them each without the basket “to prevent any clothetic weighting of mercandize,” and then turned around and winked at me. I don’t even think those are words. After she weighted each basket and put them in one larger basket and started to say the price, he kept interrupting her by growling really aggressively.

Still say my personal favorite of Kulkum's work was "100%" He did a fantastic job with not making the entire memory loss plot feel stupid and inane. And I felt rather miserable seeing how ruined Judy was becoming, having Nick so close to her but not able to say or even do anything to or for him.

And the single smut scene was hot as hell and served as a pretty sizable plot point as well.

I keep on forgetting about that story, partly because it really is unlike most of his other stories that are usually short plots meant to get into the smut. One Hundred Percent actually felt coherent all the way through, wasn't constant smut, and the issues the characters were going through weren't melodramatic. Easily his best story out of them all, even if Red and Grey's theme tickles me in the right ways.

Other two fic's I also rather liked was "Fifteen Halloweens Between" which was an ultra short yet rather adorable one-shot.

It played with the entire "Nick and Judy knew each other when they were kids" AU idea. And it was just sappy as hell with what it contained.

The other one was "Proud", the prequel to the "At Her Feet" series.

Pre-realationship and it had Nick finally realizing that he was in love with Judy at his graduation. And the idea that Judy vetted her speech through Nick's mother first, (which also served to show her what Nick has finally accomplished) is super fresh and heartfelt.
