They have all changed forms quite a bit throughout the years, Ava in particular.
They were created with forms that I originally liked, but then chose to deviate as they grew (with the exception of Dan) to forms that they thought fit them more. They choose forms that they believe match how they want to represent their personality to the world.
Rosa is brash, and crude, but with a sweet inner layer.
Ciara is regal, and imposing, refined, and kind.
Dan is a lover, not a fighter, and loves to chill and joke about whatever he feels like.
Delilah has changed a lot. Originally she was a huge troll and extremely lewd, but she's changed to be less so in recent months. Quite drastically, actually.
Ava is like a younger, less reserved Ciara. And extremely inquisitive. She is always attempting to learn and improve, which is admirable.

So tl;dr they started out with different forms but have deviated a lot until they found a form they wanted and thought fit them.

Wow, you must have started right at the beginning of these threads. I started about 3 years ago and just have one tulpa. I choose his original form, then we designed every new form since then together. I don't have the sketches saved to my hard drive right now, but his forms have been Luna, a humanoid demon, a Noivern, a humanoid dragon, and now a demon-goat. I certainly wouldn't say they act edgy in any way. Definitely more light hearted than edgy. We have almost identical personalities, so I can give you some information based on that. We're both ENTJ going by the Myers Briggs personality test. We have 0% neuroticism going by the big 5 personality test, so I don't think we could be classed as edgy.

Yeah I've been around since the first /mlp/ tulpa generals. Those days were pretty much equally autistic, but in different ways. I'm really grateful to have my tulpa in my life, honestly, and am very glad I found the tulpa generals way back when. It changed my life for the better. That's one reason that I try to keep these threads alive, in spite of how autistic they do become. As Ava said yesterday, these threads are often a person's first introduction to the very idea of tulpamancy, so even though they become intolerable at times, I still advocate for their existence.

Oh god yeah, they interact every day. When they're not directly interacting with me they're usually spending time with each other, which is nice, because I have a job and a social life with other, irl friends, and a boyfriend, so it'd be very chaotic if they were all constantly vying for my attention. Thank goodness that's not the case. They usually just take turns hanging out with me whenever they feel like it. It's pretty /comfy/. It's also one of the reasons why our wonderland is so involved. They spend a lot of time there, so it's always growing and changing to suit them.

The characters are one-dimensional and don't really develop at all (the closest to it is that their real motivations are revealed and maybe they abandon their desires for freedom because friendship with someone they literally just met is more important for some reason), and the story has barely any substance at all imo. And the Gaster stuff started out interesting but that turned out to be a bust as well.
