Some guys look good in them though. I was worried at first too because I didn't see me having one, but once I let it grow out because I got too lazy to shave and went to a family party, I got a lot of positive feed back from the family and kept it and trimmed it.

You should try it out and keep it trimmed and see how it goes and experiment a little bit.

If you truly don't like it, then don't grow it, not pushing you to do it, just saying it doesn't hurt to experiment a little bit with your body.

I'm a bit of a gamer myself though I kind of want to make myself more of an outdoor person, I never really tried D&D and I'm more into chill games like to relax like Simulators. Also like some fighting and competitive games.

I love to go on hikes, just not alone went with my friends a few times and it's great. I love scenic shit and I want to take my career with photography with drones and cameras/video.

i just never feel like if I fit in. I have problems talking to people not just in public but when we're alone. Every time I think about my ex i get sad because I keep blaming myself for not being more forward. Why do you feel it's a problem?
It's true that the general "look" is for people who talk a lot, but there are plenty of folk that rather not.
When one tries to keep talking to a minimum, it can show just how much of talking is just "filler".
And some only talk in order to further themselves.
Listening is often overlooked in importance compared to talking.

I think accepting that you're different is better than working against the currant.

It's weird advice but, have you tried not trying?
Letting your life go along normally.
Doing little things here and there to naturally build friendships. (this is assuming you do go out for some things)

Example:
I don't really do anything. But I did start going to a Friday night game night a while back. It was new and I kind of forced myself to open up with nonsense talk to opponents like "so, watching/reading/playing anything interesting recently?"
A few regulars eventually seemed to enjoy my presence.
I'm sure if I was more outgoing I could have become friends with them at that point with a bit more effort. (if they don't already consider me one even though we don't talk outside those days)
