I would like to especially point out "Forest Tails" that >>10689105 linked; while not Zootopia, it does feature a fox and rabbit duo (Nele and Tobur) and revolves around interesting themes that could be brought into Zootopia. Animal social structure, accepting that every species is different and has different needs, respect and trust, etc. Right now the comic is on hiatus, though the artist is updating with character sheets, but it is decently lengthy with 112 pages. They also have been updating consistently every week for who knows how long, certainly over a year and before Zootopia came out, so I am sure they will continue with the comic once they settle their IRL business.
>>10689218
This is a nice update; really like the details with the pillow and the foot thumping. We don't get that many scenarios of Nick going down on Judy in pictures, so this is really nice.
Also, his nose touching her clit? Awesome.
Just thought of an interesting exercise the thread could do, figured I'd toss it out there

I agree, but his non lewd comics are amazing. And some of the lewd ones even subvert that. But to be honest I hated his Nick and Judy at the start, especially because of the same reason I disliked ahiru's, which was because they barely looked like the movie counterparts.

>if we are lucky it won't be too furry.
Is there something that differentiates furry levels? I like Zootopia but ultra furry is not my thing. I see the difference as Zootopia retaining some cartoony form where furry looks more humanoid bodies
>>10690409
>because they barely looked like the movie counterparts.
I felt like that too about quite a bit of artists, many of the Japanese artist especially drew Judy in so many different ways. Eventually they grew on me because they had something charming about them (NeneP having a really energetic Judy, Ahiru being a meme shitposter and drawing great expressions, Rikuo's blob and even normal Judy being adorable).
Weirdly enough though, I noticed that Nick himself doesn't differ too much in design from artist to artist, while Judy can appear very different.
>>10690605
I don't mean art wise, I meant mostly content. Cucking, ridiculous insertions, inflation, dialogue, sissyfication.
>>10690188
>It's just in these threads there are often "People only write wildehopps, nobody writes anything else" while there are several fics that aren't, or say "only this thread CC did this" to praise said CC when a lot of people already done it, or claim something haven't been done before to sing shallow praises to a CC.
It's strange, you say that you see these things here often, but I almost never saw comments like those.
Also comments like you said "cute", "I love it", "thanks" are literally "cute", "I love it", "thanks", because this is what the person thinks about it, I see nothing strange or shallow in it.
>>10690605
Usual furry is more toward human in the anthropomorphic scale (especially in the face and posture) and peculiar, not natural (for the animals they were inspired from) elements (like strange colors, wings, some strange proportions, things like that). At least it is what I think they meant.
>>10690605
body types helps differentiate
zootopia is about 3 +clothes
most furry stuff is 4 to 5
>>10690409
I hated that dogear nick and Judy were out of character and so dif from the movie. I didn't like how ahiru drew them at first, but their stories are so weird and funny that their art grew on me.
>>10690662
>It's strange, you say that you see these things here often, but I almost never saw comments like those.
That's great to hear I guess. All were taken from discussions here, with theme ranging from Judeon, pred claw/teeth removal and hostage situations with J+N.
>>10690401
Revoltech toys say 2017 so later this year.
That would be awesome if you could do something with them. I saw a bunch of artists on twitter doing something like a Jack savage and Skye compilation project.
>>10690668
I'd actually argue Zootopia is more 4 plus clothing, with regular furry being between 2-3
>>10690718
>i misread the scale numbers
fuck me
yeah, your's is probably the right one
>>10690475
Its hard to get real criticism for comics especially because unless something is very wrong lots of people dont know what to point out as little improvements, I dont think even comic makes want to give opinions because there is a chance they can sound like they dont know what they are talking about
If you want real opinions then people should ask people directly, literally ask mead or weaver "what do you think" when they are in the thread
>>10689708
>Both thought at first their witness wasn’t alive anymore.
>They got shown otherwise when slowly and weakly the small eyes of the man opened.
>Green was the eye-colour that greeted them.
>And also a figure that was bigger than both.
>That the patience, and the officers witness was male, was one of the few things the doctors found out.
>Blood type, height, hair or eye colour didn’t help much in the investigation.
>”Sir, my name is officer Judy Hopps and this is my partner Nickolas Wilde. Were from the Zootopia Police Department and would like to ask a few questions. Do you understand?”
>The nod that served as confirm was as weakly done and looking as the eyes.
>”Well, he does seem to understand our language at least.”
>Ignoring the Fox’s statement Judy continued.
>”Before we start with the questions, can you approve some data we got, nod means yes, shake no.”
>Not waiting for a response she continued.
>”At circa 7:30 p.m. a bright illuminating circle with the radius of two meters, appeared one kilometer away from Zootopia, floating two meters above the ground. Can you confirm this?”
>Silence, only the sound of the oxygen machine and Judy tapping on her note pad was to hear.
>He was thinking, something that was revealed to Nick only by the expression and moving of the eyes.
>Another weakly nod, which made the rabbit cop writing something down.
>”Ten minutes later the mentioned circle began to expand, and then to explode. The shockwave was big enough to reach the beginning of Tundratown. Sir, have you witness this?"
>Again the eyes spoke, but he was not thinking, snapping open just to relax seconds later, followed by something Nick was sure to be a grin under the mask.
>"ZPD and ambulance arrived at circa 8:15 after a nearby bystander claimed to hear someone in a pile of steel and concret rubble."
>The room became a bit colder, the brown eyes filled in pain, remembering.
>"The found and saved person, was you sir."
>>10690655
>Nick himself doesn't differ too much in design from artist to artist
Nick is perfect.
But I think Judy wasn't cute enough for the Japanese. They always make her a lot cuter and girlier
>>10690766
Personally I prefer Judy being a little butch and buff. Still feminine, but not someone you'd mess with if you were 3 feet tall.
>>10690797
Wouldn't mess with her at any height, bun KO'd a rhino
>>10690668
Yeah this scale makes it inaccurate i feel.
Really Zootopia seems mid range furry where the human proportions furry is ultra furriest
>>10690656
>fetishes
those can't be contained to a specific type of furry
it's heavily based on the artist and/or culture.
japan for example favor sissification and rape/non-con stuff
and western have a lot of inflation/fat art
>>10690809
She showed that pachyderm she can pack a punch...or kick.
>>10690766
Japanese have a fetish for Judy because she is the near perfect loli. She is small compared to Nick and most other characters and flat chested. They don't make much different other than slappin the anime super shiny pupils on her eyes and make her head a bit more round, and you have an übekawaii Judy.
>>10690819
Anything furry will inject cucking because of popular furry artists.
>>10690669
I still think that Dogears "Nick Wilde" comic is their best one; focusing almost entirely on Nick during scene breaks in the movie, they go into pretty logical routes of what his thoughts were. The scene where they had Nick in a bar was great.

>All were taken from discussions here, with theme ranging from Judeon, pred claw/teeth removal and hostage situations with J+N
I understand what you mean now.
Indeed there were statement similar to those, but formulated in different form or expressed as critique or in a much more tamer form.
For example, for Judeon the main critique is that many will try to forcefully insert Wildehopps inside or viceversa, that Judeon is written just for reaction for the main preponderance of Wildehopps.
The "uniqueness" also is spoke in much different form, like "this matter as not been explored much" (in the sense that there are not many works with it) or "I didn't see many/any works, to my memory, with this matter", and so on.
Many times some comments are exaggerated by shitposting (like the "king of feels" thing), so maybe you have seen more of them
>>10689218
>>10690880

Rob, like the other anon said, the perspective in the first panel seems to give a little misplacement to Judy's private parts.

First and favourite contribution. An aggressively stupid greentext short story about Remmy and Martina coming back from a date and having a "cup of coffee."
>>10690756
>it's hard to critique something unless it really obvious.
true.
best critique i had for my comic was when someone pointed out that he didn't understand how one panel lead to another. which resulted in me adding an additional panel in between to better illustrate that transition.
glaring issues are recognized and should be pointed out while picking apart the miniscule details of a draw/comic/fic/green is just being nit-picky unless the artist/writer is specifically asks for ways to improve his piece
I'm pretty high. I once asked on here everyone's most profound thought while high. Some anon said "that it's okay."

In the first panel we see Judy from the front (below) and she is slightly sitting up, so her cunny is right where it is, I mean you can even see a bit of her backdoor too. I tried to indicate the angle and pose better some gentle creases on the stomach but it didn't look right with her fur and bodytype. But thanks, next time I will try to pay more attention to this

Hello everyone!
I've properly tagged the timestamps for yesterday's Greentext Theater!
https://soundcloud.com/comicanon/greentext-theater-7-26-2017
Remember, you can listen to all past Greentext Theaters from this playlist!

I want to apologize for the poor audio quality in the last Greentext Theater. I ordered a new audio cable, so hopefully I won't come in so crackily.

Thank you! I actually started drawing again after like a 1.5 month hiatus, just nothing zoot yet. I've just been going through personal shit, not being in the right mind to draw. I'm gonna draw more zoot soon though! I didn't think anyone knew I was gone.

>>That the patient was a 'he',which the officers noted, was one of the few things the doctors had found out.
>>Blood type, height, hair or eye colour didn’t help much in the investigation.
>>”Sir, my name is officer Judy Hopps and this is my partner Nicholas Wilde. Were from the Zootopia Police Department and would like to ask a few questions. Do you understand?”
>>The nod that served as confirmation was as weakly done and looking as tired as the eyes.
>>”Well, he does seem to understand our language at least.”
>>Ignoring the Fox’s statement Judy continued.
>>”Before we start with the questions, can you approve some data we got, nod for yes, shake for no.”
>>Not waiting for a response she continued.
>>”At circa 7:30 p.m. a bright illuminating circle with a radius of two meters, appeared one kilometer away from Zootopia, floating two meters above the ground. Can you confirm this?”
>>Silence, only the sound of the oxygen machine and Judy tapping on her note pad could be heard.
>>He was thinking, something that was revealed to Nick only by the expression and movement of the eyes.
>>Another weak nod, which made the rabbit cop write something down.
>>”Ten minutes later the mentioned circle began to expand, and then exploded. The shock wave was big enough to reach the edge of Tundratown. Sir, have you witnessed this?"
>>Again the eyes spoke, but he was not thinking, snapping open just to relax seconds later, followed by something Nick knew was a grin under the mask.
>>"ZPD and ambulance arrived at circa 8:15 after a nearby bystander claimed to hear someone in a pile of steel and concrete rubble."

That awesome a-sig!
I see, well I did the following math
African civet:
Body length apr. 75 cm (84 cm largest)
Shoulder height apr. 40 cm
Hind leg standing total: 115 cm (124 cm top)
Indian grey mongoose:
Body length apr. 40 cm (45 cm largest)
Shoulder height apr. 15 cm
Hind leg standing total: 55 cm (60 cm top)
Nick is aroud 122 cm (4ft on applicaton form)
Based on Nick's height, Judy is estimated to be 70 cm. So I thought that a standing African Civet should be twice as tall as a standing Indian Mongoose

That are the correct calculations, if in Zootopia sizes were maintained. However there is a little scaling for smaller species.
An European rabbit length is between 35-50 cm, Judy is on the lower end since female and not tall (as her brothers and sisters show), so my mongoose should be roughly Judy-sized or a little bigger, in comparison, so 70-75 cm. There was some scaling.
Red foxes ranges from 50 to 90 cm, with a shoulder height from 30 to 50 cm. As foxlets like Gideon show Nick is on the upper end in height (since Gideon is roughly 1 m), so he should be the same size or a little bit bigger than your civet.
For this reason I said that the size difference should be smaller than Nick's and Judy's one.
Also it is not completely exact to add directly the shoulder height, since you lose some of that moving from a digitigrade mammal to a plantigrade one.

>Simply inferred and not explicitly canon.
What, Nick's height is explicitly stated as 4 ft (in his registration module), Judy's height yes, has been inferred (though I have seen different screens where different person were able to infer a very similar height, with an error of a couple of cm), but what we were discussing about was the relation between real life sizes and Zootopia ones.
You can also see this in Weaselton: he is fucking huge for a weasel standing on his feet.
I mean the difference is not so big, but their sizes are a little bigger than their RL counterparts in small mammals.
The only oddball to this rule seems to be the otter species, since Emmitt is roughly Judy's height.

Hi, /ztg/! Falke here with an update to Cause and Contract now that I'm back from vacation. Our heroes are finally making some important progress.
>Fangmire slipped through the door behind them. "Boss."
>Bogo made a rewinding motion. "From the top," he said. "Personal connections, Wilde?"
>He was going to emphasize that, but Nick could hardly blame him. "Normally I wouldn't bring it up, but Park did, in questioning, so I figured it was worth following up on. We gave Claremont his name and she took it poorly."
>Bogo studied them. "That's not enough for a warrant."
>"No, but we're still trying to find a motive that fits," Judy said. "We hadn't considered revenge yet."
>"Can't fault them for being thorough," Fangmire murmured.
>Bogo glared.
>Fangmire shrugged his broad shoulders. "Fine, if you won't tell them- We gave Park another warning last night."
>Judy's ears shot straight up. "I knew it."
>"Don't get excited," Bogo rumbled. "It's too early in the morning for you to be so happy."
>"We didn't watch the ZNN stream all the way through," Judy said. "What did he do?"
>"Nothing we can stop him from doing," Bogo said. "Lots of cheerleading, lots of carefully vague language. He's working the crowds up. Maritus says they camped out."
>Nobody was going to stay the night out in Tundratown unless they were good and angry about something. Nick was once again glad they were here and not there in the cold right now - but then if they got the green light to work this angle, they might be back there after all.
>"Claremont herself sent us the cleaned surveillance tape last night," Fangmire said. "That's not enough to go on, either, but she voiced some concerns about Park."
>"Personal is right," Bogo muttered. "Intuition is not the same thing as admissible evidence. We can't arrest Park again, unless he gives us something new. But with two engagements in as many days, we can put a closer eye on him."

>2. ...but why?
It's an amazing question that most fanworks would have a hard time justifying, doesn't mean the author cannot engage it.
Still, doesn't mean he can't tackle it. I'd probably enjoy more of the idea if it wasn't just a Sherlock fanfiction with Judy and Nick. No matter how you slice it everything we've seen is pretty much that.

>I'd probably enjoy more of the idea if it wasn't just a Sherlock fanfiction with Judy and Nick.
This. I don't give a single fuck about Sherlock, so not only will the references and jokes be lost on me, it will dilute the experience of the Zootopia parts I do enjoy.
I appreciate those zootopia parts, and I'm all for anything the fandom does involving scents. But from this first chapter, I haven't seen much of Judy's actual canon character, and even less of Nick's.
I don't think this is for me.

Maybe. We'll see.
>>10695620

I doubt very much, while I was frustrated with S4 due to Euros, most of the fanbase was angry it wasn't confirming Sherlock and Watson being gay for one another and kissing on screen. I honestly enjoy a bit of the magic in investigations, but once it gets too into character development/personal issues I kind of shy away. Same stuff with The Mentalist.
