To be honest I don't remember. I started on Neopets in 2000 when I was 10, made a new account with my real name as my UN in 2006, moved my stuff over to that one, and my original account was lost in the inactivity purge. I'm kicking myself for not keeping that original account, it was fuckin OG as hell.

I have my 'parody' planned out, and once it looks around as good as the original loss (as in mildly better than what I have here, but not really that much better) I'm submitting this.

Loss, but instead it's a Pteri who got labzapped into baby. Third panel will have the mad scorchio scientist, of course. I'm not 100% sure what to do with the second panel.

This is a super super rough draft, but I started working on this final panel. Main character is nimmo, I was considering lutari though.

They're also given out by, not only Anchor Management, but the Dome of the Deep, AKA, the Battledome with Maraqua's challengers & other (under)water opponents.

That said, Dubloon values may be messed up, but I wouldn't say they're worthless.

1. Smugglers Cove, very rarely, will have new items released for it -most recent, IIRC, was the Maractite Bomb- & when restocking for Smugglers' Coves limited supply items, Dubloons must be spent, not NP.
To clarify: The standard is only 100 of each SC Item are released. EVER.

And if limited releases wasn't enough, it also restocks randomly, on the minute, & will restock ban you after a few refreshes, with the bans starting at 1 hour & getting longer.

If you feel like hoarding all your Dubloons for that, go ahead; It has released some good Battledome items. In fact, BD Items seem to be the ONLY things those Krawk Island pirate smugglers sell, curiously enough!

2. Krawk Island Petpets.
I dunno the value off-hand, but if you wanna look into the prices, you could see if it's profitable to buy some Krawk Island Petpets with Dubloons from the KIP shop, & then sell them for NP.... If market prices make them profitable.


3. Gambling at the Golden Dubloon.
Much like Kelp, it's sometimes possible to take home food from the Golden Dubloon after a visit. IIRC, all the items are of Gourmet Food Rarities, so they should be easy to sell & valuable.


Of course, you can also just sell 'em, hoarde 'em, or spend 'em on paid training from Captain Threelegs's for pets level 40 & under. (When he's not giving out free courses, anyway.)

Stocks aren't a great way to make money honestly, unless you invest >1m in Virtupets every day. I'm pretty sure Virtupets is their "actual" stock that's based on supply/demand, whereas the other ones are on a fixed algorithm where they go up and down between 1 and 100 or whatever.

Stocks used to not have a maximum limit, so people cheesed it. You won't win everytime. But if you follow somebody like in the link, you'll net a profit. You have to give it time. And with an account your age, I guarantee food club would become your primary source of np income. If you aren't one of those restocking obsessives, that is.

There are scripts in the sticky that will make it less tedious too, if you're into that.

Any recommendations for a decent, poor man's 1P battledome set? I've been using the tyrannian sceptre since AC for it's 14 icons. But it's super fucking easy to cut down to 7 since it's only 2 icon types.

Is your pet Lvl 50? You should get the Lens Flare ability if you dont already have it. The Sceptre + a Honey Potion, Yooyu Knuckle Duster, or Turned Tooth should get you to the point where you're 1 shotting the weaker BD enemies.
