I don't even really care about the sam thing that much. My problem is that it doesn't feel like a show about a family anymore, just a bunch of random individuals forced to live together. Also inconsisent characterization and sloppy continuity make it hard to invest in any character. I was hoping it was just second season hiccups because they weren't expecting the show to take off like it did and they could sort it out and get back the show on track in the future. But Savino's interview made it clear that that's not the case, that the show no longer has a clear identity and they're just throwing shit at the wall to see what sticks. Sam and Luna's being an item is just a symptom of the disease killing the show.

This here. Sam honestly doesn't bother me on her own, I just miss the original tone of the show where it was Lincoln dealing with living with ten girls and how it impacted his life. We don't get many episodes about that anymore. I mean shit, NO episode this bomb revolves around that. Lincoln being said to not even appear in a few episodes in the future makes me wonder if he'll even be the main character anymore. It feels like as the show goes on it becomes less and less about him.

I can agree with that. Sam only bothers me because it shows which direction the show is going. It's less about a boy surviving with ten sisters that all fill a goofy role, but rather trying to force an agenda. The only good thing about not having it focus on Lincoln and his experiences is that they can flesh out the other characters, but seeing how they decided to flesh out Luna, their reluctance to let the others have different roomies, and them throwing away the Mexicans, they have no idea how to do so.

I was saying that they're more interested in pushing their view of how things should be instead of having a family show. I know at some point I will, most likely when they do another pandering episode. The Loud House gets a lot of praise because it is better than pretty much everything else on Nick, but that isn't saying much. The humor really isn't great, the plots are formulaic, and the agenda Kevin Sullivan likes to push is just too much.
