My tulpas were suited well enough with the forms I suggested, they haven't really taken any liberties even though I've told them to, but that's okay because they're adorable anyway and I respect their choice. I was thinking the other day, almost everyone's tulpa that I've seen diverts from the original intention. They change form or will alter their personalities in a short amount of time.(compared to someone growing from a teenager to adult for example)

Do you think the original Tibetan tulpa diverged at all? It seems like that would be out of place with what they were going for. If you were recreating a god entity it'd seem weird for it to turn into something else, right?

This makes me think about why modern tulpa change so much. Maybe there are some who don't change but it seems like those people never talk about it? I've also seen most people more or less swear on how your tulpa will alter themselves so don't sweat a lot of things early on though.

Another thing, tulpa were originally created in the form of beings that already existed more or less. What makes that different from making it from a fictional character?

The culture in a buddhist monestary isn't really conducive to the whole "finding your own identity and form of self-expression" thing. Buddhist monks value the sublimation of the ego, which essentially means that they want to remove the difference between themselves and the rest of the universe as much as possible. This isn't seen as self-destructive or anything like that; it's just necessary to attain enlightenment. So it wouldn't really make sense for them to value a thoughtform's ability to change and deviate in order to become their own person. So I agree, it would be out of place for deviation to occur for their thoughtforms.

However, our Western society is different than what goes on in Tibet. Western societies value individualism and being your own person. A good example of this are the common sayings like "just be yourself," "you are special and unique in this world," "life has the meaning you give it," etc. etc. We are encouraged to change and have our own unique identity outside of our family members and peers. We value leadership and the tenacity to stick to your guns instead of being able to blend into the group and not make any waves.

Because of this culture we are born into, it only makes sense that these values propagate to our tulpas, and they are instilled with the values of individualism just as we were at our births.

Contributing to winter wonderland images

I have literally never listened to music on my own, what music might a developing tupper like?

I've been interested in this phenomenon for over half a year now but I still haven't started doing it. I tell myself that it's because I'm lazy but I think it's because I'm scared. So I'm really stuck on imposition/touch. Basically, if you have a tulpa that visually looks 2D (anime, cartoon, whatever), and you impose it visually, how do you reconcile that with your tactile sense? I just can't wrap my head around it well enough. My tulpa is based off of a 2D aesthetic, and I can visualize it in my head fairly well, but trying to see her in a three dimensional space is hard and thinking about interacting with her is even harder.

Hopefully that made sense, any ideas?
