ITT: Pokemon Are Real.
Universe 2.
Where would PAR want to vacation?
Last thread: >>10546671
goo
>>10564438
Sinnoh, maybe.
>>10564465
goo?
>>10564465
>>10564531
goo!,
>>10564438
Alola would probably be my pick, I'd love to go to a nice warm, sunny beach.
>>10564510
What's in sinnoh? I never really read or heard much about the region.
>>10564438
I've heard Kalos is beautiful. I'd like to visit it at some point, if I ever have the money for such things.
>>10564048
>The pool of black liquid slowly moves closer, only a few inches from flesh contact.
"I don't- -want it!"
>>10564427
>The keys clatter against the ceiling.
"English?"
>>10564628
"SHUT UP AND DIE!"
>At this point Oathkeeper knows what he's doing
goo
>>10564658
>Doubleswords clank against the wall, looking back at their master.
"...Clank?"
>>10564628
"Don't want what? To speak English? Because you aren't anymore."
>There's a moment of anticipation
>Easiest way to know what kind of ghost it is is to touch it.
>>10564687
>Apparently swords don't know what they're doing.
"PURSUIT!"
>>10564616
Cold, mountains and apparently the gods.
Would like to see Sinnoh from Mount Coronet.
I'll be there with the groceries soon.
>>10564733
Cold is nice but best when there's snow, always loved playing in the snow as an Eevee.
>>10564658
>>10564687
>>10564729
>The shadow is out of view for now...
>The room feels extremely cold.
>>10564726
>No sound comes from the shadow at the touch.
>It feels wet and warm, like sticking your hand inside of someone's intestines.
>A black glob sticks itself to Morty's hand.
>>10564814
>Missigno's silence is matched by silence from Morty, who turns his hand over several times and prods at the goo.
>He's at a loss for what Pokemon this could be
"What Pokemon are you...?"
>>10564733
>Nope, not getting back anytime soon
>Thanks, supermarket queues
>>10564777
>Sip
Agreed, and some places of Sinnoh are always snowy, all the time.
>>10564777
>c o i n s
>>10564814
>Quincy looks around for the monster
"Oathkeeper, keep your eyes peeled."
>>10565040
"-eyes-"
>The goo doesn't do anything, thankfully.
>No flesh eating today,
>The dark mass slowly raises itself up, badly mimicking a human shape.
>>10565098
>The room grows colder, almost as cold as the outside.
>The voice seems to come directly into his ears.
"W h a t- -a r e y o u ?"
>>10565245
"Eyes aren't..."
>Morty grows silent again as Missigno begins to take a humanoid form
>Right, that's not good
>He lightly nudges Falkner in an attempt to wake him - if things go bad it'd be best for Falkner to be up and ready to run.
"You've got me stumped. I haven no idea what Pokemon you are,"
>>10565245
"Just a simple guy."
>He grabs on to Oathkeeper by the handle.
"SHADOW SNEAK!"
>>10565385
"...-simple-..."
>The shadow attempts to mimic him, reaching for Falkner.
>Black goo drips onto the floor as it reaches, almost inch by inch...
>It stops a few inches away from touching him, awaiting a reaction.
>>10565390
>Are you smacking yourself in the head?
>The voice speaks into your ear again, the words sound stitched together..
"You've- -got- -no- -idea- -what- -I- -have-."
>>10565530
>He was smacking the shadow blob that was CLEARLY behind him, because how else would it be able to whisper in his ear?
"You have nothing, you are nothing but a monster, now either get out, or burn."
>He points to a specific spot on the wall
"Leah, Blast Burn that"
>>10565091
>beaned in the face with coins
"Why?"
>>10565530
>A hand lightly grabs the shadow's wrist, loose enough that it's more of a warning than it is an actual attempt to stop him.
"Birds are vain creatures. I don't think he'd like being covered in goo."
>>10565569
>The wall gets scorched and not much else seems to happen...
>The room returns to it's normal temperature and you no longer feel the presence.
>>10565600
>Something stacks the coins in a neat tower.
>>10565648
>Morty's own voice chimes back at him.
"-don't-"
>The tentacle retreats back into the body, the mass shifting away.
>The grass monkey spots a a bush of Watmel berries, which he proceeds to pick clean
>Excited monkey noises that can be translated as "Orbs!"
>Finally, he scampers off with the bounty, finally not emptyhanded
>>10565690
>Finish rubbing coin shaped face wounds and notice they are neatly stacked
"What, how in the? Who's there?"
>>10565690
>Tentacle
>Sweat
"So... Not a Pokemon, not a ghost... What are you?"
>>10565690
>There's a reason he pointed to that spot
>The circle of runes around it flares up, absorbing the fire and using it for something else
>That something is namely lights, and heating throughout the tower
>Ancient Sinjohnian magics at work
>If the presence had continued, there would have been several more Blast Burns at that spot, cranking up the power to the point that it roasted everything in the building
>Quincy is officially DONE WITH THESE FUCKING INTRUSIONS
"...Fucking damn... let's just hope it doesn't come back."
>He goes back down, throwing more wood on the fire and wondering what the fuck that was
>>10565821
"Who-"
>No response.
>Four of the Meowth coins are dealt out in front of the Sylveon, the face up.
>Seems like someone is playing a game and expects you to pick one.
>>10565890
>It tilts it's "head", shifting up to be equal height with Morty.
"-it-"
>>10565988
>Sylvie stares at the coins
"A game with a ghost? This is a first."
>They point at the 2nd from the left coin
"This one I guess."
>>10565988
>Morty makes a confused sound and responds with a head tilt as well
"So... You're an it?"
>>10566068
>8.
>Only Bork gives me dubs 8 and gets an 8.
>The coin flips revealing an "M" printed on the back.
>The coin proceeds to stay in the same place as 127 coins plus the one the Sylveon selected, appear in a line in front of it, probably going straight under the Sylveon.
>>10566258
>Sadly the only voice we have to work with is a Sylveon so get ready for doggo barks.
"ghost?"
>The mass reaches a tendril out toward Morty.
>>10566279
>Bork bork bork
>A look crosses his face - a mix of shock and confusion
"Uh... Bwark?"
>With but a single second of hesitation Morty reaches forward, poking the tip of the outstretched tentacle
>>10566351
>Falkner is jarred awake by the song of his people
"Someone say bwark?"
>>10566381
>Morty breaks "eye" contact with the goop for a moment to look over at Falkner
"Welcome back to the waking world."
>>10566351
>Poke.
>The tendril retreats.
>An attempt at Falkner's voice comes through.
"Someone-"
>>10566381
>The blob turns its attention to the birbman throne with a tilt of it's "head".
>Blob thing: Pat a birbman and sink back into the shadows.
>>10566381
Bwark bwark!
honestly im just imagining missingno as this fucker
>>10566575
"Uh... did I miss something?"
>>10566580
>Falkner just got pets from a shoggoth
>huh
>not something that happens every day
"Why is your ghost blobbing in my dad's gym?"
>>10566585
Bwark?
>>10566585
Bwark a cute!
>>10566279
>The sylveon watches the coins appear out of thin air and looks down and then between their legs behind them as the line of coin stretches off across the room
"Neat trick, if only you were around when I needed some cash a couple months ago."
>>10566639
>Bwark-friend has responded
>Happy.exe
Bwark!
>>10566670
>is cute
>>10566639
"That's not my ghost. No idea where it came from, just kinda showed up and told me to get the hell out."
>Shrugging while using someone as a pillow doesn't work too well, but hopefully the message passes
i want to!
marry!
missingno!
>>10566884
What is that?
>>10566884
dont we all
>>10566918
What are you?
>>10566950
Hey, ask me where I've been this last week.
>>10566978
Where haven't you been this last week?
>>10566988
It's a secret.
AWAKEN MY RPERS
>>10566922
No I don't.
>>10567008
I hope you mean a secret base.
i want gio to piss on my face
>>10567144
dubs say otherwise
>>10566714
>Falkner doesn't speak perfect Bwark
>Fortunately he does speak Bawk which is phonetically similar
Bwark bwark!
>>10566733
>The message does not communicate at all
"Did you put pants on at least?"
>>10567279
>RIP
"Why don't you check?"
>And there go the eyebrows
"But no, I didn't. Can't do it until Monday."
>>10567279
>Popplio has no idea what his new friend is trying to tell him
>but he can't show it, that would hurt his feelings
>clearly this calls for more Bawk
*clap* *clap* Bwark Bwark Bwaark!!
>roll to get motivation
>>10567431
>Roll to MOTIVATE
>>10567431
>roll to "motivate~"
>>10567313
"What? You can't just come into my dad's gym and freeball it in front of my birds!"
>>10567377
>Falkner has no idea what's happening anymore
Bwark bwark bwark!
>>10567431
>is motivating
>>10567484
>human-bwark-friend has responded in their almost-bwark younger again!
>clearly this is meant to be
*exited squealing*
>>10567484
"Hey, I have a skirt on."
>Unfortunately, it only barely covers his ass, and his chest is still completely bare.
"... and isn't this your gym?"
>>10567431
>Man you guys are all having bad luck with your rolls
>Roll to bless with motivation
>>10567431
>give bug smooch
>>10567541
(Almost-bwark tounge.. not younger)
>>10567541
>Falkner has no clue what's going on, but apparently it's good
*squeek back*
>>10567549
"I mean. My dad's going to come back some day. He wouldn't just vanish forever without saying goodbye or something."
>>10567431
>roll to motivate
>by throwing a Farfetch'd at
Here, take this luck duck, it has a leek.
>>10567594
>never before in Popplio's existence has it had a friendship this strong
>happy seal is happy
Bwark! *hops in a ever accelerating circle around bird-person* *Bwarks intensify*
>Bwarks start to sound distorted due to Doppler effect
>>10567594
"You mean dying? Because it happens."
> He says this as casually as one would bring up the weather, thinking nothing more on the matter after it's said
> But he does chuckle at Falkner's squeaking
>>10567690
>there is a confused bird man spinning to look at this happy seal
Bwark!
>>10567710
>Indigent bird noises
"He's not dead. He's just travelling. He's a great explorer!"
>>10567934
"If you say so."
>There's a sound of disapproval as Morty loses his pillow due to the spinning
"How long has he been gone...?"
>>10567934
>critical Bwark achieved
>Poplio starts to slowly rise into the air, his spin causing him to warp away Ah-La escape rope
>is sky seal
Bwaàáark!
(And thus ends the unexpectedly long life of my intended shitpost deal)
(Please)
>>10568052
"Uuuhhh. He was around when Suicune woke up."
>>10568209
>Fuck Falkner just killed a seal
"Fuck I killed a seal."
>>10568283
>Up and away the seal goes, Morty craning his neck to watch until it's out of view
"Definitely dead."
PAR wheres an easy place to get a prosthetic that works the same as a normal body part?
>>10568387
There are no ""easy"" places to get them. Your best bet would be Colress, Emmerich, or any of the other robotics specialists.
>>10568373
>Bird Flavored Denial noises
>Sun x Falkner otp
"Nope! He'll be back any day now. Just watch."
>>10568373
>>10568559
*very faint Bwark fading away in the distance*
>>10568559
"... I meant the seal, but him too."
>Sun x Falkner?
>Please, that's how you get diabetes
>It'd be too pure for this world
>only like 3 people even rp here anymore
hell
>>10568607
>wave at the sky
>shed a small tear for the new water/flying type
Bwark...
>>10568617
"...Oh. Uh. I meant the seal too."
>C'mooon
>Bird nerd x ADHDenial boy
>They'll just stare at each other and poke Oricorio
>>10568677
>implying every other post isn't just the same person fuckin with you
>>10568677
(It's, what, 4 am for most people? Give everyone else a chance to wake up.)
>>10568679
".... Falkner. Falkner? You know what my seer senses are telling me?"
>And then get traumatized by whatever bad luck their combined sweetness draws in
>It would be a disaster
>>10568677
(SB, Ray, Bork, Slash, and Emrys rp here too, they just don't post as religiously as Skitts and Jiji. Also it's like 4AM for everyone but Skitts and Slash, and Slash is at work.)
>>10568706
"Did something happen to the seal?"
>Exactly
>Truama-thon 2017
>Everyone would die
(I guess since Jiji wants the honesty thing. I was interested in bullying newpar Sun but I don't really know/care to figure out how to work around Silver. Honestly I might fuck with Quincy, Missingno or Dustbro.)
>>10568769
(Dustbro? Did I miss a meme?)
>>10568794
(the superhero with the dustox ava hes new)
>>10568730
"No. In 15-30 minutes something weird is going to happen to you."
>Morty stretches out along the floor, grumbling something about the mats and making himself comfortable.
"Tell me about your daddy issues."
>>10568769
(I think he meant for people to be honest in the Discord instead of bringing it into thread.)
(Either way, bullying Sun in person typically doesn't work well. Even in oldPAR where he was alone most of the time it normally didn't work out well. Just do like most people did in oldPAR and bully Sun online.)
>>10568769
(Oh yeah, sorry about that. Didn't plan for them to end up tied together, just kinda happened. If you feel like it we could like. Try and figure out a way to do the thing. I'm kinda playing him as a salt elemental so you could abuse that. Or just cyberbully the Sun. Silver wouldn't really care about anything that wasn't outright attacks)
>>10568818
"What kind of something? Is this like the broke condom- wait I don't have any daddy issues!"
>>10568769
(Fuck yes I'm going to bully the buffer)
>>10568877
>He dons his best Chesire grin, folding his hands underneath his chin and look up at Falkner
"A weird something."
"And you went something half of your life with no dad, I'm sure there's daddy issues in there somewhere."
>>10568943
"What kind of weird something?"
>The birdman has nothing to go on
>he tweets internally
time to stay up all night and plan my new antag
>>10569078
"Shhhhh"
>Morty hugs Falkner to his chest, stroking his hair with one hand
"It's alright Hayato, you don't have to tell me. I'll understand."
>One one hand, Morty's chest is very warm and soft.
>On the other hand, it's because he's shirtless.
>I imagine this is probably very awkward.
>>10569163
>incredibly emberessed aviologist chirping at hihg speed
>the dweeb in the kimono flails against the half naked stoner
>that's not a line you hear very often in romantic stuff is it?
"Oh god this is weird why!?"
>itt: lance gets cucked
>>10569275
"Beeeecause Hayato, I take pride in being able to help people. So... If you don't want to talk about it..."
>He doesn't even seem to notice the flailing, simply hugging Falkner tighter
"I'll just provide physical comfort!"
>>10569427
"PUT CLOTHES ON."
"PLEASE."
>flailing intensifies
>there is now a spazaming birdnerd on the ground
>>10569520
"But I am wearing clothing - a scarf-skirt and a headband."
>If you wanted a position to look up Morty's makeshift skirt you've certainly found one, should you choose to look.
>>10569590
>the birdnerd is pure
>he's trying very hard to avoid any sudden crotch shots from Morty
>If his eyes were shut any tighter he'd end up rippings the lids off
"PANTS."
"PLEASE."
>>10569647
"Ugh, fine. If this messes up my deal with Cynthia you owe me a Spiritomb."
>Morty leaves to fetch his clothes and returns a few minutes later + his pants, but still lacking a shirt. At the very least, his scarf is back in its normal place.
"Theeeere, better?"
>>10569749
"YES. Yes. Oh my god yes."
>rip no morty dicc
>>10570539
"Ouch. My ass and legs are pale, but they're not that bad."
>He takes a seat on the floor, looking up at Falkner
"Sometime today your ass will get bitten."
>>10570731
"...By you or the drag- never mind I don't want to know."
>Falkner: Equip bag of seeds
>>10570789
>Eyebrows: achieve maximum possible height
>At this point they're nearly hidden by his head band
"I didn't say it was a human."
>>10570840
>dear god look at those eyebrows go
>they're going to float into the mesosphere quick someone find me six drifloon and an Escape Rope
"Uh. I mean. Context."
>Falkner resorts to the masterful and graceful tactic of his beloved birds
>Flopping back a few feet in abject terror and shoving seeds in his mouth
>>10570872
"Hmmmm, sure. Falkner? What are you doing?"
>They can't do it
>They can't go any higher
>Morty instead displays his disbelief and amusement with a chuckle
>>10570957
"Breakfast."
>Sure
>That's convincing
>Not really
>You have flustered the pure bird nerd
>Why would you do such a thing
>He just wanted to be pretty and pet birds
>>10571032
"... seeds?"
>There's a moment of silence as Morty seems to think something over
"Eh, why not. Toss me some."
>I enjoy watching people get flustered, that's why
>Suggestively caresses the next person to get dubs
>>10571324
>Rolling
>>10571344
>GJ anon
>You won the suggestive hair caressing
>>10571511
>am winrar
>>10571525
>You are the winrar
>It is you
>>10571106
>Bird Nerd: Do a toss
>Item Obtained: Bag of seeds x1
>This reply was really worth waiting 3 hours for, huh?
"Go ahead, I've got a ton."
>>10572359
>Stuff the bird seed in your mouth Morty, the munchies demand it
>His next words are muffled by the food
"Thanks. This stuff safe to eat?"
>>10564438
Well... I wouldn't want to vacation is Sinjoh. But I still want to enjoy myself when I visit for my expedition!
>>10572954
Or you could not come at all, that sounds like a better idea, don't you agree?
>>10572543
>Falkner has no idea what Morty is saying at all
Yes.
Good morning or afternoon depending on what region you are in, how is everybody doing?
>>10573193
It's only for a short while no need to be such a debby downy!
>>10573794
Great!
>>10573193
No I don't.
>>10573794
good afternoon, i am having a good day, and work was pretty fine
>>10575196
I forget what do you do for work that allows you to wear your suit?
>>10575219
sadly i don't wear the suit in work, but i never tell anyone about it and stay quiet most of work
if you are curious i work in a pokemon center
>>10575257
Oh, okay! What's the craziest thing to happen while you were on shift?
>>10575283
well, i guess the wierdest was on how a sableye bit a carbink but it's teeth were stuck on it, so it both had to be sedated and carefully get them unstuck
>>10576206
Oh man were they okay afterwards?
Morning PAR! Johto is pretty different from Hoenn. How is everyone?
>Rolling for training done today.
>>10576389
>You feel a presence watching you.
>>10576389
hey dude i'm doing pretty good, how's johto treating you?
>>10576507
>Hopefully presence speaks japanese.
"Hello? Is someone there?"
>>10576561
It's nice! It's a bit more closed off than Hoenn but... It's still cool!
>>10576315
well, the sableye got one of his teeth broken but both pokemon are healthy at least as far as i know
>>10576799
Well that's good to hear! If you ever get any more neat stories from your work please post 'em
>>10576731
Would you say Hoenn is a nice place for a vacation?
>>10576731
>The feel of something watching you is overbearing.
>Nothing replies.
>>10576822
It's really nice! Tropical weather and nice people. It's kinda like Alola but with more rain.
If anyone offers you a free hotel in Fallarbor don't take it, it rains ash up there and you'll get sick.
>>10576886
>Time to hand the key in and get the fuck out of Ecruteak.
Hey /par/ I've got a bit of an issue. You see I currently live at home but my parents continue to insist I become a trainer despite my protests and have gone so far as threatening to kick me out if I didn't comply, I would leave but the thing stopping me is not making enough money to support myself entirely but if I became a trainer they would provide me with a charge card for supplies and whatnot.
Do I give in or try to move out by myself anyways?
>>10577262
well annon, I think the first question to ask is:
why are you so insistent on not becoming a trainer? what aspect of that lifestyle is so off-putting to you?
>>10576985
>The presence follows.
>>10577318
I just don't like being outside really. The sun is evil and wishes to kill me and all that jazz. If I had my way I'd never get any light that didn't come from my PC monitor.
>>10577339
Specialize in Zubat and other low light/nocturnal pokemon
>>10577339
You could probably earn a decent wage as a cyber trainer.. Porygon teams are always in demand. Companies will pay pig money for security in their digital endeavors.
>>10577262
Well, becoming a trainer is fun! But getting your pokemon to like you is a bit hard.
I suggest trying the gyms if you feel like you aren't going to have enough money. They give out some good money!!
>>10577339
Ooooh... Um...
Why don't you give yourself a dark type theme? Buy a cloak and some cool stuff!
>>10577334
>Run off to Goldenrod to try some more battles.
>>10577391
>>10577443
Might be good enough to appease my parents
>>10577434
Aren't Porygon either really expensive or outright hard to get?
>>10577434
Can confirm.
>>10577478
Get the Porygon technician certification first, it can be obtained without a Porygon of your own. Then apply to companies that provide their own Porygon, a handler title is functionally equivalent to a trainer title in most regions.
>>10577478
Not so expensive that its prohibitive, you will be paying for rent and food, both easily more than the cost of a porygon over a year. Think of it like a startup business, they take an investment to start to pay back.
>>10577443
>The presence follows, you can feel it on the back of your neck.
>>10577478
Hope you have fun!
>>10577637
>Let's see about getting some battles in now.
>Rollan.
>Time to post on the thread too.
Hey, does anyone do breeding stuff here on the side? Or know any private breeding places?
>>10577615
>>10577634
Hmm I'll look into it though I probably should find out if my parents will let me stay while studying for the certification. Thanks
>>10577695
(Fuk)
>>10577695
>breeding
>here we go again
How do you achieve 「Mega Evolution」 without a trainer?
>>10578102
Are you willing/able to become part ghost?
And or Psychic?
>>10578102
Last I checked? You don't.
But there might be a way, I haven't checked.
>>10578102
Have a deep emotional connection with another pokemon maybe?
>>10578121
I'd rather avoid that if at all possible.
>>10578148
Thank you anyway.
>>10578180
Perhaps that could work... I suppose it's time to stop training and seek out friends.
Looks like it's time.
>>10578451
For?
>>10578180
I'm not sure a keystone will react tbut a Pokémon emotional energy, but perhaps Pokémon like Yamask or Banette would work, since they probably have some residual human emotional energy on em.
>>10578206
Basically you need a mega stone, a keystone, and a strong emotional current of both Pokémon and Human emotional energy, you can sorta cheat that last part by becoming an amalgamation and absorbing a human soul, or perhaps finding a way to host a human mind nested inside your own via some psychic shenanigans. I can't think of any other ways to cheat the system at the moment, but I'm sure they exist.
>>10578499

Psst, you wanna hang out kid?
>>10578545
No, not that.
>>10578545
I hope not?
>>10578562
I... Sure? Where are you?
>>10578618
Unova but better question is where are you?
We don't just get wings in the mega form.
>>10578729
Unova, Black City.
I doubt sharing my address online is a good idea, so I'll head to... Black Tower.
>>10578804
Sweet. This is going to be awesome.
>Rolling for travel time there with last number.

>Minutes or post?
>Giorgo chills on a bench in front of Black Tower for now
>>10579094
>I'll say minutes because we're dead.
>Buggo arrives.
>Hope Giorgo likes chitters and clicks because that's all he's going to be hearing.
"So you got one of those mega rings or not?"
>>10578506
Mega evolution is such a fascinating thing, who even thought to test that two stones and human emotion would make your pokemon stronger?
>>10579169
>Not being a Pokeglot can be hell sometimes.
>He brings a notebook with him most places, and this isn't an exception - both the notebook and its accompanying pen get held out to the Pinsir
"Unfortunately, a Pokeglot I am not. Can you write?"
>>10579264
The practice dates back 4,000 years ago to the old king of Kalos. His son, the name lost to time is one of the first to take it into battle.
Lysandre is a close blood relative to these two figures hence his preference for mega evolution.
>>10579264
It depends on who you ask. Kanto Hoenn and Kalos all claim to be the originators of the technique. Realistically though most historians place the first recorded Mega-Evolution as Rayquaza's famous dragon, with the aid of the ancient Draconid People.
However the first people to make use of paired sets of keystones and mega-stones where almost certainly ancient Kalosians.
Like in many other things, Kanto's claim to this title is largely baseless.
>>10579411
(Rayquaza's famous Dragon Ascent)
>>10579384
>>10579411
Even more interesting facts, thanks for sharing. I wonder what it feels like to mega evolve
>>10579411
Only a few times to the land of Kyushu I've been. I wasn't alive to witness the first Ascent, you'd be better to ask Rayquaza himself.
The Draconids are a kind people, though even if my tongue has grown old in time.
>>10579488
My Heracross described it as painful before his death.
>>10579502
Painful? And here I was wishing I could mega evolve...
>>10579532
In due time Nymphali. It's best to live in the present. Where in Kalos do you live?
I do hope you aren't with the savages of Alol'a. Liliʻuokalani was never a good ruler and pulled too much power from the Tapus.
>>10579603
Actually I'm in Unova at the moment, Castelia is the city I believe.
>>10579603
(Today I learned Sylveons Japanese to English name is Nymphali That's adorable.)
>>10579648
I haven't been there in quite a while, perhaps a vacation is in order.
Is it true they're building "robots" as they called them?
>>10579691
(That's the french version, Anon. Nymphia is the Japanese.)
>>10579707
(still equally cute. Also Nymph is more explicitly affectionate/sensual than the root sylven that we have in English. Wonder why we didn't get Nympheon? Makes more sense for our little affection centric fox.)
>>10579707
Yeah the guy who's place I'm staying at has a friend that is apparently building a robot or at least a robotic body.
>>10579707
Apologies, any pokemon travelling into Unova will need a trainer accompanying them.
>>10579768
(As far as I understand they usually pick things that are easier to say in English. Especially for younger children.)
>>10579899
Strange. Is he going to bind a soul to it?
>>10579917
I am a trainer.
>>10579966
Oh, well, makes my job easier. Make sure you have a passport. Mr...?
>>10579966
Not entirely sure about that, I'll ask my friend if that's what they intend to do when he gets home.
>>10579996
A name has no bearing in this world.
>>10580060
I'll be happy to meet your friend once I've arrived.
What made you chose Unova?
>Rolling for time to Castelia with last two numbers.
>>10580127
Well I had somebody tell me to leave Kanto because of the new laws or whatever and Unova seemed like it would be a decent place and it turned out great since the person who suggested I leave is who I'm staying with. He is a very nice human.
>>10580127
I-
Just don't stab anyone.
>>10580165
The new laws? Are they executing pokemon now?
Fate has strange ways it moves. Bringing some together and breaking others apart.
Your friend, what are they like?
>>10580222
My sword hand is still good.
>>10580259
Not executing but something that would compel any human stop leaving me alone and instead try and capture me. As for my friend he's a bit of a nerdy guy, seems to know a lot about computers and likes petting me. For his character I mean he's letting me stay here and feeds me without forcing me to become his pokemon.
>Meanwhile...
>Research on JUICE is going on slowly

>>10580494
How dark. Who knew the Kantonians who hold themselves so highly would fall so far. Well, your friend sounds like a rather interesting fellow, I'll be happy to meet you two in person.
It should be obvious but I bear no intention to capture you.
Pray, where shall I meet you two?
>Rolling to get some things from the store without catching too much attention.
>>10580641
Ummm not sure where exactly would be a good place to meet and my friend is still out at work but I can send him a message

>>10580916
"Quite, quite. Perhaps too good, heheh."

"I wonder what Frankie and Stibs have planned for the weekend, if anything?"
>>10581207
"No clue if they do though I remember them mentioning training but I may have just slept through them doing that."

"AZ, Gilgamesh, the wanderer whatever you prefer, my friend. You're... Stibium?"
>>10582231

"I got it from a Daycare, from a woman who lacked the harshness to last in that place. She said she felt it fitting, with my serial number and escape attempts."
>Contemplative mrowing.
"I never found out the why of it."
Hey, mates, a faggot from /HG/ here. I'm really sorry that I intruded your RP sessions, and I hope you guys can forgive me for potentially causing a shitstorm over my curiosity, but I have a question for you.
What's this about a second universe? I'm hearing that it's due to Stone Ocean-like fuckery, and I'm genuinely curious over what happened.
tl;dr Who reset the universe?
>>10582641
(Basically everyone jumped ship near the end of PAR and a lot of people didn't enjoy the lore.)
(Second universe is sort of a way to get all the baggage off while letting people who like it keep the last universe as sort of a dream.)
(Further on the Part 6 reference a few old characters have come back in different forms or combined with new characters. Hope that's good for ya.)
>>10582523
>Headpats a best even on the giver
>>10582531
"My pleasure as well, and I'm pretty sure the couch is big enough.."
>Wait a second
"...how did you knew he is Val?"
>>10582641
(OldPAR aka Universe 1 died abruptly, then some anon rebooted it and we kind of went with it to reset some controversial characters and pieces of lore)
(The setting itself is also somewhat different from OldPAR)
>>10582682
>>10582748
Alright, that makes sense. I'm not quite sure why you would change the lore of something that was pre-established, but who am I to talk coming from a place like /HG/? We have no lore.
Can I ask how the universe was reset and exactly what was changed? Another detail I heard is that someone godmodded so badly that everyone died and everyone reset the universe because of it.
>>10582765
(Well a lot of people left because people aren't exactly amazing at communication here. Jirachi, one of the GMs is trying to fix that and it seems like he's doing good. No one died, we just lost a significant playerbase and continuing without them would have left a lot of plots without an end.)
>>10582602
"Bro, 'chu should ask sometime. It's probably, like, important."
>>10582748
>happy squeaks and then realization
"Brooooo..."
>>10582765
( There was a weekend that was nuke from existence, but that was waaaaaay back in January. The Universe 1 Reset was mostly because the people who wanted action and the people who wanted slice-of-life weren't communicating well and kept stepping in each other, which eventually led to a quitting-player cascade and general shitstorm. )
>>10582765
(The lore had to be reset because 6 months of roleplay had made it cluttered to both work with and remember. It was a pain for new players to get caught up on, so we wiped it to have a completely new start.)
(This also allowed us to start fresh on the world building, which is nice.)
(There wasn't a recent "everyone dies" event, just a conflict between people who wanted actual conflict and people who wanted slice of life, which kinda blew up in an argument that resulted in a majority of the most frequent RP'ers with the most plot ties quitting all at once.)
>>10582531
"Oh hey you understand us like the green headed guy. Yeah I'm doing great other than your head how're you faring"
>>10582602
>AZ chuckles, leaning back.
"Perhaps you should go back and ask, no?"
>>10582748
"I'd rather not put your things on the floor by accident. Oh, the pokemon told me."
>>10582892
"Mr... Natural is his name, correct? Kings always seem to be able to learn the language of pokemon easily. I am well, there isn't much to worry about physically when death isn't an issue."
>>10582809
>>10582833
>>10582868
Ah, I got you guys now. Things like that really tend over to fuck over the community, and I should know. At least everyone's okay with the new universe... Supposedly. This is the first time I've come here for a while, and from what I see, everything's way different. If there's not a PAR equivalent to Burning Down the House I'll be disappointed.
Is there, like, a pastebin detailing all of this? I think it'd be a good idea to do that just in case there's someone new to joining this place. God knows HG needs one.
>>10582926
(Could be a cool idea for a ghost character but not yet. A new pastebin is being worked on but it hasn't been put in the OP yet. Might do that for next thread?)
>>10582926
(Someone is the discord is working on a paste in, but it's a WIP as we are still in the process of getting the lore In a state most people agree makes sense, both cannoically and functionality.)
>>10582917
"I would if I could, but she left that accursed place, long before it was rightfully razed. I would not know how to find her, though perhaps I'll figure it out on my own."
>>10582892
"A rare talent. I wonder how difficult it is to develop?"
>Flop between AZ and Stibs.
>>10582926
(The only Pastebin we have is the one keeping track of the worldbuilding and canon characters currently being played, if that's what you mean?)
>>10582981
(Yeah, we'll probably toss it in the OP next thread. Until then it's https://pastebin.com/tg1tZJm8 if anyone's curious.)
>>10582995
(Yeah, that would be me. The bin will probably always be a WIP unless we get to the point of autism where we fully flesh out the details of every single species of Pokemon, every region, part of the Pokemon world's technology, ect.)
>>10582833
>Intense headpats
"Heh, soon"
>>10582917
"A pokeglot? Like that N guy? Wait, a 'king'"
"I'm both really impressed and confused"
>>10582765
(Some pieces of lore like how pokeballs work and how they are inside or how active are legendaries ended being controversial)
(There was no godmodding, but there was an ill advised plot attempt leading to a powder keg of repressed gripes going boom)
(So yeah, Universe 1 is currently nothing but a series of odd dreams of Universe 2 characters)
>>10582926
(Pastebins are being remade)
>>10582981
Imagine this; a Mewtwo with Burning Down the House as its Stand. That's some Grade A RP shit right there.
>>10582981
>>10582995
I wish you guys luck because I know next to nothing about Pokemon except that Lillie is a cute. If I knew a bit more, I'd help you guys just for me butting in and ruining the flow of things.
>>10583037
Yeah, that's what I mean. I think it would be good if you guys laid down a few rules in it, but I think I remember reading a pastebin with rules in it.
>there's no Pokemon Australia inhabited with Muks and Ekans
Wasted opportunity desu ka.
>>10583063
So it is Stone Ocean fuckery after all. Alright, thank you for clearing that up for me. It's surprising just how much work goes into this stuff.
>>10583116
(I might make the rulesbin a second bin, not sure yet. Just sorta feels like putting the rules in there would kinda ruin the flow of that bin as something dedicated to information on the setting.)
(Well... Orre is a desolate wasteland with Muks and Ekans. I know it's supposed to be Arizona, but it's still pretty close)
>>10583532
I think it would be good if you put the rules after the worldbuilding. If you do them separately then there's the chance that newcomers will only read the worldbuilding and disregard the rules.
I'm going to make a petition to make Orre the PAR version of Australia and nothing will stop me
>>10583532
(Do we even have rules out side of don't fug the children?)
>>10583024
>AZ nods.
"Perhaps one day. The hand of fate is rather strange."
>He reaches a hand toward the mon, stopping before contact.
"You have no issue with pets, do you? I'd rather not overstep my boundaries."
>>10583063
"I am the old king of Kalos. Have you ever heard the story of the man who in the loss of his pokemon put forth for a weapon to destroy the world? I am that man, cursed with immortality at my own idiocy."
>AZ chuckles.
"Cursed to age and continue living and cursed not to be able to die. How quaint, no?"
>>10583532
(This is my first time actually picking up a character since lurking so forgive me if I'm a bit rude. I tend to steer away from speaking OOC. Rulesbin is a good idea but make sure your rules can be bent a bit. It was rather sad to see characters being changed/dropped because of shitposting in the old PAR.)
(Best to just ignore that. It goes away eventually.)
>>10583063
>Attempt at psychic chattiness, only fucked up on dubsfail.
>"Like, bro, that is soooo coooooool..."
>>10583024
"Like, really hard, I guess. If it wasn't, there'd be more dudes who can do it, right?"
>>10583024
"Seeing as not many humans can probably very"
>>10582917
"Yeah that guy... Wait what do you mean death isn't an issue"
>>10583709
(Sorry about replying too quickly.)
>The large man chuckles.
"Time has no meaning to me and I've tried countless times to take my own life."
>A shrug ends the reply as he smiles.
-AZ, probably going to reply too early forever.
>>10583620
(Just that and the rule about 'if you claim a canon character and don't play them for two weeks they'll be open again', but that one can be bent a bit as well so it's more of a guideline than anything.)
>>10583658
(Yeah, we try to make the rules more like general guidelines than anything since we can't exactly enforce them.)
(Seeing characters dropped is always sad though.)
(Also you're fine, you're not coming across to me as rude or anything.)
>>10583616
(That could work, thanks for the suggestion, anon.)
(Shitty dry region where everything tries to kill you, isn't it already Australia?)
>>10583658
>Nod
"Feel free, friend. I wouldn't turn away a calm hand.."
>>10583673
"It could be motivation as well, little brother."
>>10583658
>>10583733
>Val turns back to the old former king.
"Your story... you carry a heavy burden, though perhaps... No, I should not impose."
>>10583658
"He likes the pats yes, but neither him nor the Raichu here are mine, they're of a friend"
"My team are the Porygon2 and Magnemite floating around, Probe and MAG respectively"
>Probe beeps loudly and happily
>MAG lets loose a few sparks
"I have heard of that story, thought it was just an old fable."
"A strange tale for these strange times, isn't it?"
>>10583733
"...what? I mean, what?"
(You're doing great, by the way)
>>10583673
>Thinking, mind open for the psychmouse to read
>"Yeah..."
>>10583616
(Orre is already pretty much Mad Max, the setting. So, yeah)
>>10582926
Extra emphasis on "Supposedly."
>>10583831
>Frankie: text the nerd.
>"Ferry's late. Mechanical issue. Be there when I can, won't be home for dinner."
>>10583763
You're welcome, mate.
>>10583763
>>10583831
Exactly, but people will associate it with Arizona and that's the last thing I want. I propose the name Orrestralia for maximum blokeness.
>>10583848
Aye.
>>10583867
As in multiple people are Not Okay with the new universe. Not like it matters anyways for a combination of Who Cares and Far Too Late.
>>10584057
It's not like they can regard the reset as canon if they claim it was a dream. Honestly, I was expecting a lot more drama over the question I had proposed, but if there was virtually none, then I don't see why it would matter.
As someone from HG, I have no place to judge at all.
What do you do if your Gengar won't get the fuck out of the bathroom mirrors in the hotel yer stayin' in?
>>10583763
(Good to know. If I have any problems I'd state them OOC, you guys are doing great. Have a nice day!)
>>10583827
>He chuckles, giving the pokemon a pet across the back.
"Do tell, I've given most things a try at least once."
>>10583831
"I've never seen a Porygon up close before."
>He tilts his head, watching it.
"Interesting that they can do such things now. Eons ago I'd call that magic."
>Stibium gets a look from the man next.
"What, what? If you have a bodkin I'll be happy to open my arm to prove my end."
(My stand is ignoring Sylveon apparently. Sorry for posting early.)
>>10584235
(You too, anon.)
>>10583867
(One day, anon.)
(Have a nice day man, I gotta stop giving you (You)s for now to get thread off the OOC track and back into roleplaying.)
>>10584181
Perhaps you could... Turn the mirrors so they face the wall? Or cover them? Sounds like they'll come out eventually either way so... I suppose it depends on how quickly you need them out of there.
>>10584235
>Pets: confirmed good

I find them enjoyable. They consist mostly of dressing up a Pokemon and having them perform in time to a musical piece chosen to match a theme.
More often than not the costume designs and dances are incredibly elegant.
I'm nowhere near amazing when it comes to these things, but I'll get there.

>He hunches forward, talking to the dark doggo.
"Come on, I'll get you some fish if you give me the wallet."
>>10585939
...That sounds faggy as all shit.
Why would you do somethin' like that when battles are easier?
>>10586017
>Dark doggo flicks the wallet toward the cowboy.
>You're going to have to move closer to grab it.
>>10586017
I don't enjoy battles.
They're a clutter to watch, the beauty of the Pokemon involved is overshadowed by the violence of the situation, and at the end of it the Pokemon themselves are covered in filth and wounds. It's a repetitive, boring, back and forth exchange of moves with no personal flair added to each use of the move itself.
The Pokemon prized for battling are in and of themselves typically drab, the same dull grays, greens, and muted blues across a majority of them.

"Why thank ya kindly."
>Step forward to yoink the wallet.
"Who's this thing belong to?"
>Check the ID.
>>10586140
So you're actually a little toddler who'd rather play dressup than do a man's sport?
>>10586192
>The ID is from Alola.
>M o o n ...
>Umbreon attacks!
>It uses Feint Attack on the cowboy!
>>10586220
>Hol gets knocked on his ass.
"You dick!"
>Hol scrambles to his feet to fuckin' run.
>Rolling for if he can pocket the wallet.
>>10586192
Dressup? If you consider wanting your Pokemon to look something other than bland and indistinguishable from others of their species then yes, I suppose it is.
You still use moves against one another in a contest, it's just not a 1 for 1 exchange, and the *way* you use the moves actually count.
So in short... Battling, but with a focus on comboing your own moves and incorporating the opponents moves instead of trying to predict every action.

>You pocket the wallet but the owner blocks your path.
>A large bat floats behind her.
>She's rummaging through her bag for something.
"Howdy, can I have my wallet back?"
>>10586335
"Why yes, ma'am. I'd never take a lady's wallet without permission."
>He makes a show of bowing and holding the wallet out to her.
>>10586367
>You can hear her mutter, "huh, that's easy."
>Before something sharp cuts across the top of your arm.
>The wallet is taken and 150,000P is deposited into the cowboy's hands.
"Consider it a finder's fee!"
>And she's gone.
>>10586402
>Oh fuck money.
"Holy shit, thanks lady! Fuckin' what kinda nails do you got?"
>Gonna need to buy some bandages.
>>10586305
So it's queer diaper baby chess.
What do you do if you feel like a ghost is following you?
>>10586475
I suppose a complete moron could call it that, yes.
>>10586501
Die so you can stalk the ghost.
>>10586501
Remember anon, exorcists are your friends. Unlike the police, the priests don't judge you.
