Some anon said that he would either do the fixes himself or make a new cyoa with a similar theme, and Tokhaar flipped his shit, made the "I quit" cyoa, and left.

Basically, Tok's either gone for good, or only coming back after 3-6 months under a new name to avoid dealing with the embarrassing shit he did.

According to him, he allotted the same dev time for Eronomicon as he did for Infected.

Unfortunately, because Eronomicon is essentially seven mini cyoas smashed together, of which you can only pick two, you need a lot more content for each school for it to feel as full and complete as another cyoa is, with accordingly longer dev time.

So I've on-and-off fiddled with the idea of a CYOA that uses a sort of grid of connected options, where you pick a perk, but then you have to pick one of the connected downsides, then pick one of the perks connected to that downside, and so on. Basically have this big path of choices that split and reconverge.

Unfortunately, this would almost certainly result a very busy, crowded image. The only CYOA I know of that does something similar is CYOA Yggdrasil, and its paths don't typically go more than five choices deep. So this could lead to a very big image, both in file size and width/height. Theoretically this shouldn't matter, because this is the internet and infinite canvas is a thing. Practically, a big sprawling image is harder to navigate and a large file may limit my ability to upload it to this site.

Which brings me to the point of me bringing this up: anyone have layout suggestions for such a thing?

Working on Hyperdimension Neptunia CYOA and thought i would throw in some items to chose from. The setting is Fantasy RPG game world.
here's two i thought of:

Traits are innate starting abilities. You start out with the following:
General traits: 1 time appearance/gender/age/identity change , porn physics , basic lewd magery (temporary increase size, minor sexual healing, minor increase arousal, etc.)
And gain more based on schools.
You have schools (similar to the original eronomicon), but the schools are different, you get 4 of them (one primary 6 domain points, one secondary 3 domain points, two tertiary 1 domain point), and offer you 6 general domains (such as alchemy or corruption) which you can make your own spells from (you start with 10 per domain 5 extra for advanced, with some examples given) rather than picking any of 6 spells form two domains.

Rather than a points system, you get one free boon (such as planeswalking student), and you can take more for drawbacks. Boons are seperated into minor and major, and major boons require taking major drawbacks.

You start out with a school curse, which is mild, and can take stronger additional curses for more power. Rivalry system in the works.

Don't worry, all that culture does is allow you to select it as a fetish for purposes of regaining mana- selecting Japanese (medieval) would let you gain mana from having sex with someone in a shrine maiden outfit, but not taking it would still allow you to bang someone in a shrine maiden outfit for mana if it fulfilled another fetish (such as cum inside, impregnation, or vanilla) Culture/race increases options, not decreases them.
