And then doing four of them (because you can't make the same bet twice) should be a bet for 16:1.

That's the most likely way it'll turn out today.

Okay, so, that guy earlier pointed you to the auto betting page, but there was another page that could have helped you.

That shows an easier-to-comprehend table for the bets.
The green guys are most likely to win. And next to the colors are the percentages that they will win.
(ignore Payout Strength Weight columns)
Then it shows their starting odds and current odds.
And the ones most likely are given 2:1 odds.
If you bet on all five 2:1 guys, it'll be a bet with 32:1 odds. (which today is pretty good since they all have great percentages)

Some people went all in on those by doing the 5-bet, four 4-bets, and then 3-bets. (32:1, 16:1, 8:1)
That'll net them 144:10 payout in the end if it works. (the 10 is because we place 10 bets)

Now if one loses it'll be an upset but not completely a loss.
But if you cover the potential upset, like your bets did, you can still win big.

Basically, a Chinese company with experience in MMOs bought JumpStart a couple weeks ago

Since then, the Neofriends bar thingie (which has been in Beta since forever) got updated and today the Caption Contest came back after its hiatus that started back on March 2015

THE RESULTS ARE IN!

Most people probably lost a bit today because FUCKING BLACKBEARD won.
If you look at the other page I posted you'll see his odds were 13:1. Literally the worst possible.
But not only that, a reasonable upset occurred in the Hidden Cove arena: Ned won.
AND NOT ONLY THAT BUT STRIPEY WON IN HARPOON.

So people had to reasonably bet on a double upset happening while also ignoring the bet where the longshot happened to win.

This exact shit is why I rarely bet in Food Club. I can bet up to 10k per bet but I only bet 1k this time and I'm so glad I did. Fucking waste of time and money.

It really is a game where you need to have money to make money.
And also follow someone instead of make your own bets for a while.

Typically I like going for double upsets.
I almost never double my money though.
But today I followed the people instead.
And was HURT. /it's fine though

There are people that play it safer.
And they tend to double their money more often than I win it big.
The safe route was not betting in all five or four of the arenas.
And covering the upsets. (the reasonable ones, not the bullshit that happened with the 13:1)

I only really started Food Club this year and went from 5 million NP in the bank to 15 million np currently.
That's not even from playing every day this year.
And the month of June was fucking harsh; lost like 1 million during that.
But I'm still way more ahead than I would have been continuing my "not doing anything" lifestyle.

I know someone in here likes the Garet bets.
Personally I like to look at the reddit Food Club thread to see a bunch of different interpretations.

Basically, if their odds of busting are in the 20-30 percent range that's pretty freaking safe.
If the bust odds are a coin-flip of 40-50 percent, then they better have a good reason.

Actually, I took the liberty of checking what your set from yesterday was. (it's all red and green because it's in the past now; if you had not bet on what are now reds, you would have won...but hindsight is 20/20 heh)
Check the odds box.
It had a 50% bust chance.
And remember my 144:1 explanation back up there? They had like 16% to get that. (on top of covering some losses)
You had 3% for that same payout.
Your best chance was the 48:1 payout at 20%.
Basically, the more boxes you fill up the more chances that something could go wrong.
It's possible sometimes to bet in such a way that you never lose, but the profits will be small.

Refreshing at a store. When it is 'stocked' with items, you quickly find a valuable one (any one you can make a profit from), buy it, and then can resell it for more than you spent.

For example, I bought a Pumpkin Pot Pie for... around 5000 neopoints? I can now sell it for around ~13000.

The biggest example and most competitive place for restocking is Kauvara's magic shop, because people race to buy the incredibly profitable morphing potions. One lucky buy can net you over a million NP if you're fast and lucky enough.

If you want to try restocking, I suggest starting at the food shop, book shop, or chocolate shop for practice.

Correct. Searching for, and adopting pets on their birthdays, getting a cupcake, then abandoning them at the pound, before starting over the next day.

You can find lists online with 30 pets listed for each day of the year. It's easiest to just copy one of those to a notepad doc, and use ctrl f to find the date you need everyday.

At least, that's what /npg/ told me to do when I asked, and it's worked pretty well.
