Weaver himself evoked the idea a bit in that comic he drew of someone's fan story where Charlie watched Remmy go off with Anneke while considering suicide.

For an actual triangle, I could see, say, Anneke getting angry with anyone who makes a move on Remy (or with Remmy if he moves on anyone else) because she may feel that their not-date-date and her flirting constitute at least enough of a "calling dibs" for them to work that out before seeing other people. That'd be most likely to fire in another misunderstanding, as it did with Avo - maybe Remmy shelters from the lynch mob with Charlie and Anneke gets snippy because Remmy should've sheltered with her and Wolter.

Yes. Read Sad Judy. It's a fun read and I love Judy's thoughts when it came to her pinning after Nick, along with how her acceptance of him comes about.

It does have some issue's here and there, (The vixen pretty much disappears once her role is done. The smut, while pretty good, was out of no where.
Nick's vocation is never touched on and things lead to nothing saying that he was a cop/in training. People at times think it's an AU of sorts because of that. And Nick acts a little out there with how angry he is, but it's mostly understandably since he is dealing with a broken heart. (That and I think Sad Judy came out before the movie did? I can't remember. Thus the author didn't know his character at that point.)

Don't bother with Sad Nick, you would be reading like 40k words and nothing happens in it. Maybe if the plot actual does something, then yes. But as of now, just treat Sad Judy as the ending to this Nick and Judy's story.

Maybe, but why the detail of meeting random males in secret? If it was random foxes and bunnies, both male and female, I could perhaps buy the idea that Judy was talking to other interspecies couples about pregnancy. Assuming it will have a weak plot, they will reuse the city, setting and add scores of new characters and hopefully explore new districts. So we'll have more canon for the thing we know and love. It's less of a movie and more of a setting by this point, so it will only give the fandom more fuel to last another couple of years.

It's a win either way. Zoot 2 being good is just an added bonus.

As much as I hate the whole "rabbits need medication to control their libido" trope, I didn't mind that comic, only because they used it in a non-melodramatic way. For comedic effects, I can tolerate it, even if I think they could use better plot devices.

Not always, but when you know they identify as a furry, you can be reasonably sure that they're open to trying to hookup with other furries. The sex crazed perception comes from the fetishistic aspect of the subculture.

It sucks because I want to write about a fantasy world that's populated by mutants and science experiments much like Marvel, but also like the Dragon Ball universe where animal people are common enough to be peppered in as extras among the elves and dwarves. No, truly not. But in the setting of fandoms that is absolutely the case. You have someone with little popularity who gets attention for doing certain type of content, they realize that said content is shallow and they want to make DEEP commentary that they know people will see because of their previous work. That's why it more often than not end up bogged in melodrama with no moment of levity or buildup, it's straight up shouting, barking, denoucing and crying from the start to the end.
