That story was an honest mess from the beginning, there was so much SavageHopps interaction that I could almost feel anger for Nick being in the story. It will probably leave a bad taste in my mouth when the story ends in WildeHopps, despite Judy fucking snuggling up to Jack constantly, doesn't seem to realize how inappropriate all of that shit was, all of her near cheating thoughts, never came clean to Nick about it all, and this was before this drugged sex.

I touched on it a bit during Winter Snuggles: Pack Street. Here's my thoughts:

Al grills like a fiend, and is passable at anything that doesn't involve applying fire to hunks of meat.
V microwaves most of her meals but knows a few recipes her mother taught her that she breaks out on special occasions.
Betty is good at simple, hearty meals.
Ozzy knows how to make edible food out of the cheapest stuff he can find or scrounge, but it's not exactly cuisine.
Avo can't cook for shit. She sticks to takeaway.
Wolter and Anneke can't cook for shit either, but they don't have the money to live off takeaway, so they take turns butchering the instructions skimmed from the package of whatever they bought that week.
Charlie cooks mechanically, without any flair. She learned because it's cheaper to buy ingredients and make food then it is to buy meals.
Marty doesn't like how much time it takes to cook, but when he bothers he's actually really good at it.
Martina is just as good and much more willing to put the time in.

Fox On The Run, for example has Nick being in relationship with Judy suddenly disappearing only to turn out as a suspect in cahoots with a terrorist. Only thing he leaves Judy are some cryptic "clues" that hint that he may not really be a bad guy. He still warns Finick and his mother to get out of town due to terrorism soon (tm), cheats on Judy with Skye, shoots Judy square in the chest out of a moving train and she ends up almost drowning. I mean, any sane person would end this relationship after all this bullshit, no matter Nick's true motivations, because, goddamn, fuck this shit. And yet Judy still "believes in him", and some people commenting how they hope for a WildeHopps ending. All that should really end with Nick being in prison for 25 years for terrorism, assault with a deadly weapon and attempted murder of a police officer, but I have a bad feeling the author will end up pulling some bullshit happy ending out of his ass.

Frankly all that really depends on whether or not it really does end up as an all according to keikaku situation at the end and he personally prevents a bunch of Night Howler bombs from going off all over the city. I like the story regardless because even if it turns out Nick really is a bad guy (which I expect it won't) it's nice to see Judy believe in him even against overwhelming evidence for once.

Concerning "Fox On The Run", if Nick truly infiltrated that terrorist group, then some of his actions could at least be understood, though maybe not forgiven and definitely still relationship breaking. The "cheating on Judy with Skye" could be an act, wanting Finnick and his mom to get out is in case he fails. Shooting Judy in the vest is the big issue, and even if the theory that Nick did it to give her the chance to survive (rather than one of the other criminals shooting Judy in the head or something) holds true, I feel like that would end their relationship after everything is said and done. How do you stay with someone, trust that person, who shot you?

Honestly, I am just hoping for an ending where Nick has been good this whole time, he has been working against the bad guys from the inside, understands all of his actions would destroy his relationship with Judy, but would rather have that then let these guys bomb the city. No WildeHopps ending but at least an understanding of some type.

See, if that's the situation I don't see at all how it can't end in WildeHopps. The core of Judy's character is "do the right thing even if it's hard" and that's exactly what Nick is doing. Nick gave Judy a second chance when she nearly ripped the city apart and hurt him specifically, but it's so common for Judy to just drop him the moment he does something that hurts her back. Judy got a second chance when she didn't deserve one, when she said exactly what she meant and believed it, but Nick couldn't possibly get a second chance for being the kind of person she fell in love with him for being?
