In this particular case, it's because the panels were an afterthought. I hadn't planned to draw either of them cumming, just fucking. I really don't get Tom's method for censoring violence in the comic, so far the only characters who have died are all three master generals and the architect, and two of the generals died in very tame ways (musclehead getting gibbed by the spy notwithstanding) and then he has several scenes of trace butchering civilians as edgelord past-trace and killing a bunch of kids along with the architect and some basitin guards to save flora
