Literally EVERYONE loved Zistopia. At the start and the middle namely. Sure their were stupid shit here and their but it wasn't THAT bad.

I am sure you can go back to read the old threads when Zistopia was still in it's beginning phase's and people would be loving it and saying how great it was.

But when NW started to do the entire "artist swap" thing thing's went downhill and we saw about how terrible a writer NW really was.

Then when the SJW stuff went batshit insane it got worse, then the "bunnies being a repressed majority", then the "MK ULTRA", then the "I am a lesbian special snow flake, and you are a monster for denying your pan sexual attraction towards a rabbit thus you hate all lesbian's and sexuality's".

Then NW outright stating that Zistopia is far better then Zootopia and that it's nothing more then a Iphone add, and I don't even know what else I am forgetting.

Things add up, and know people are just sad to see something that was once great descend into something that is just hated and mocked now.

An online draw course could be useful, I just try to keep drawing and sometimes watch some YT tutorials to get the hang of something I find particularly difficult.

Start with pen and paper because it's more efficient to get the basics with a physical medium.
Moving onto a tablet isn't a great leap or a that much of an effort as it's made out to be, but it's not advisable to start with digital if you're just a beginner.
If the gift card is collecting dust, go for it - you can learn in parallel or just keep it at hand until you're ready.

also a huge tip to speed up the learning curve for your tablet, just unplug your mouse and force yourself to browse with the pen, shortcuts, tablet buttons for a few hours a day
build that intuition and stimulation new brain connections while doing the things you'd do normally anyway
pick up OSU and give it a shot if you wanna train your precision, though thats a little overkill imo and not at all necessary (but quite fun)
also if you do play something like OSU, be kind to your tablet while tapping on it and >>NEVER<< lose your stylus

For learning how to do comic panels, start with doing one panel right below another with text reading from top-to-bottom and left-to-right. It's easier and complex layouts are more of an artistic choice.

As for knowing what to put in each panel, I often refer to storyboarding techniques.
However, a general rule is to make sure that: panel 1 directly relates to panel 2.
What you did in >>10398886 was pretty alright but you could've added an extra scene between panel 5 (rosie writting on desk) and panel 6 (canidae reveal) where Rosie and Mel are anxiously waiting for Canidae. It would made for good build-up and give the impression that Rosie and Mel may have regrets about getting adopted.
I have a few more suggestions but this post is getting pretty long.

It isnt even relationship drama, it is dumb forced drama due to Nick or Judy acting wildly out of character or some other stupid shit (Nick not fighting for their relationship, Judy cheating/falling for the first buck she meets, the whole "don't want to ruin their friendship" taken to the extreme, etc).

I especially have issues with the last one, considering how prevalent it is. Every story that has it almost makes it so that Nick and Judy HAVE to say they love each other, when they could go "hey, I feel like our relationship could be more than friendship, do you want to go out and see where it goes? If it doesn't work out, we are still friends?"
