Well, seeing how I finally made some actual progress with writing today, I might have to see to handling that sometime later this week. Y'know, just after commissions and stuff.

And trying to resist the urge to draw yet more art of Wyd's horses/catbird getting either blimped or possibly also pancaked trying to save themselves from being blimped, because of course I already have an idea for that.

Glad someone liked it. I wasn't quite as happy with it as I was some of my other ubers, but that might just be because I just like Rail's rendition more. Or that I feel like I'm bumping into the limits of this sort of erratic, simplistic shine lighting thing I've been doing. Kinda wish trying new less cel-shady lighting styles wasn't dependent on me breaking away from the pixel line alias lines/colors thing I've chosen to work in (even if it's unrecognizable at the resolutions I use), but I'll burn that bridge when I cross it.

Also so I don't feel like I'm wasting a post, here's a couple sketches done based on a tumblr ask for "pone worriedly grasping at their inflated head". Didn't mark her but it's probably Line. Probably won't finish them, but I might incorporate the idea into a different thing I was going to do if I ever get around to it.

I've recently picked up a thing for implied popping, but its super rare. The kind of thing were somepony just popped off-screen, and it's pretty obvious that the focus of the pic knows that is probably going to happen to them. The weird thing is it doesn't really matter to me if her reaction is excited for it to happen, indifferent due to enjoying the inflation too much to care, or outright terrified. Just the concept that she's seen it happen and knows it's coming really gets me going.

Hey, drawfag here. So I've been wanting to do more art and stuff. I've been wanting to continue this for a long while but I was either doing other stuff or lacked the motivation.

I wanted to hear what you guys wanna suggest for a continuation of this. Like, either for the 3rd or 4th pic. The idea is that the blueberry inflation thing is contagious (via magic. Maybe through a plant?). Also in the alt pics of the first one and this pic, there's farting.

I've been trying to get into MLP again (currently watching the rest of Season 4+) since I wanna explore and doodle stuff from the series despite personal issues with some of the community. I wanna continue making crazy stuff for it like I have in the past.

So basically, I just need to hear some ideas. Whether for situations, characters, etc.

As far as suggestions, I can think of a few. Uncontrollable contagious inflation is always unf. As far as vectors go, the farting works well enough. Seeing as its purple, my brain just kind of auto-translated it to "aerosolized juice eruption" instead of "unpleasant digestive side effect."

Were I the one directing the sequence, I'd have Fluttershy wobble off into town for help and end up getting herself beached just a little bit inside the of ponyville. Part three would be an immobile, but not massive, Fluttershy with Rainbow and another pony or two nearby. The new ponies are at more or less the same stage Fluttershy was in part two. Part four places rainbow at the treebrary/castle now having grown quite large. Twilight and any others in the shot aren't too far behind.

I don't really know where it could fit, but seeing as I've been talking about inhalation/skin contact based inflation, I kept envisioning Rarity in her suit from Bats! with a bit of her muzzle blue and her suit getting a bit tight around the belt.

Either the proportions are off, or it totally lacks the implication of pressure that tells me it's actually inflated and not just big by some other means. Yeah, gotta agree here, even though I'm just starting to get a feel for it (damnit wyd) I really just can't find what's on display there appealing. Could just be the fact that emphasis is only given to the cheeks, nose(?), lower lip, and barely to the eyes, rather than a good full all-round fwhoomp. Half those shapes look like they could be easily edited into looking like cheap puffycocks, and that's not really that great a thing. Never much liked the whole puffy lipped bimbo thing either, so I guess that might be part of it too.

Let alone whatever the hell's going on to poor Tavi in >>10356237 too. Nose hose and just the lower bit of the head swelling to an irrational degree, just, eugh. It's unsettling.

Still amazed to hear it, but thanks. You can really thank Enigma20XX for that, wherever he's gone off to these days. Been imping him pretty hard on the bloatyheads since the beginning (with minor alterations to proportion as things went along). Kinda hate that he disappeared long before pone came around, would have liked to see his take on things. Still, glad to know I've done well enough on it to bring a few others around to this particular weirdass little corner of cartoon horse ballooning. Here's hoping I don't go too far off the rails that I lose all my passengers.


Also while I'm at it here's a relevant discussion question for the thread; what are some artists/instances/images that got you into a specific aspect of inflation you weren't into before? I like to track the degeneracy backwards to it's sources.

Already mentioned Enigma and his heads, but I'm pretty sure the early days of Necrofeline's stuff got me into massive blimped crotchtits and other bits on my pone blimps. Shame she doesn't really draw it anymore.

She doesn't draw it much as she used to because not a lot of people commission it from her. Patreon? I'll have to have a proper look again for public stuff. But look on the bright side, one of her latest pics above has massive crotchtits.

As for artists/instances/images that got you into a specific aspect of inflation you weren't into before? Well, I hate to be very broad but I found myself into pony inflation in general thanks to Inflatechan. I looked up pony inflation on Google Images and clicking the source links of images that would take me to the boards there where the images were posted. That is also how I found Inflatechan. (I didn't even know of 'chans to begin with.) To shorten things, I found Necrofeline when I made my FA account, who enhanced those interests even more with not only the ideas she put onto canvas or her style, but also some of the different aspects of inflation. Belly, butt, breast, crotchtit, blueberry, full body; you name it. Even fat. (I won't deny preg/mpreg too...)

Not really so much a specific aspect of the fetish here, but I gotta admit that Graphene's style of drawing pone blimps has definitely influenced how I draw mine. The rump, the belly, everything so big and puffy, it's just the perfect shape far as I'm concerned. I especially blame >>10322671 and the short sequence that follows it.

Otherwise, I guess if you don't mind me straying to technically non-pony and definitely non-pony artists, stumbling across the old works of BigHorse and Blue/minnagowaseiryuu (depending on if you go from FA or DA) has definitely gotten me liking the concept of someone swelling up inside a tight rubber suit of any description. Just the shine, the creaking of the stretching rubber, the way it makes them look that little bit more like a balloon, it just hits a few of the right notes. Prolly not the best example considering Blue was the original artist that drew me into the whole inflation thing in the first place, but whatever.

Kuro is probably the biggest fetish gateway in existence. His gallery has everything from inflation and fats, to farts, hyper anus, latex transformation, slob, huge heads, etc etc etc. Point is, if you like anything of his, you're inevitably going to end up eventually tolerating the other stuff due to his artstyle being extremely uniform, concise and clear across all images. Not to mention that he goes to all levels of a fetish, for example his draws of fart fetish material go anywhere from barely noticeable tooting to room-filling blasts upon another characters face, so you eventually adapt by starting small.

Outside any existing galleries, no. Far as I know he just closed up shop and went off the radar entirely a long while back. Occasionally someone unearths a never before seen rarity lost to the ages (or he's still producing in secret, never sure), but those have gotten to be very few and far between these days.

This has basically been my life story for the past 15 years, so no worries. With all the lunacy I'm into, I can't really say much about other people's tastes. Hell, desperation's what got me started drawing this stuff in the first place, and I'm sure it'll be partly the driving force behind my steady descent into fetish hell. There was virtually NO pony-related headflate stuff that I could find, which I think is a lot of why I've been hitting on it as heavily as I have. Pic related was just about it, and it was just made as a standard cartoon slapstick joke on an ask blog.

Basically I found a relatively empty section of the fetish and I'm doing my damnedest to fill it. Here's hoping it works out.

I did write that one fic about AJ stuffing Dash full of apples and cider, but I tried to portray it like AJ was aroused by the act of feeding than by Dash's size. I was trying to avoid the whole Conveniently Common Kink scenario, so at the time I headcanon'd that Dash was the only major character with an inflation fetish.

My initial reaction to this picture was that the indefinite shapes in the fore- and background were ponies popping or getting close, which was added to by seeing the confetti stuff floating around as globules of whatever they were filling up with being spattered about. With that frame of reference, Octavia seems quite content with what's happening, though she looks like it may be more that she's a bit too drunk to get what's going on.

The thought occurs to me that I've drawn Night Strike flattened twice so far, but not once have I drawn her up as a balloon. The thing is, I don't actually know if I want to change that, at least while Empty Quiver is still an active story, anyways.

If you have a big balloon and a sturdy sleeping bag, and some means to inflate said balloon, it is rather fun to combine yourself, the sleeping bag, and the balloon in a fashion similar to this. Can confirm.

Just don't use a rubber band that's liable to slip off the hose and cinch tight around the neck, otherwise you may find yourself trapped by the puffy rubber. Can also confirm. Balloon was deflated fine eventually.

You know how much we love you and the others for contributing to this rather niche interest thread. Sometimes we don't say it but it's still a thing. By giving us this as of yet unfinished series in the course of a month you basically doubled the number of Bloatavia images which took 4 and a half years. Please don't misunderstand that posting a great pic or a great series - a great series, by the way! - in every thread is probably like getting served your fave meal every day, and even if it's top tier or your favourite, it may get a li'l bit samey after a while.
To raise anticipation let me suggest that we'll next time see the series when the artist comes around to finish it. Don't feel pressured to oblige though. I've learned that sometimes a little wait makes it worth it.

Ah, after I get this one pic I need to see to done, I'll definitely have the continuation of this series as next on the chopping block. The main trouble I keep bumping into with it is just trying to sort out how to make the rest of it still fit the inflation category, without just relying on Tavi still being big and bloated to get that as a technicality. Was lazy yesterday anyways, didn't even plug in my tablet once, so I've gotta make up for it today at least. It has been a month or two since the last of those pictures, too.

Once that's done, I do have another idea in the pipe for getting Octavia blimped again, though it might be a while before I get to it as I've got other stuff in the queue still as well, and I'd planned it to go along with a story idea that's currently sitting in someone else's queue. Y'know, one thing that's always bugged me when it came to this stuff is just how little people seem to understand how pressure actually works. It's mainly seen with those celebration pictures, like for 1000 page views or 500 followers or whatever, they always just tack on 'psi' after the number being celebrated, and then act as if that equates to how big the character getting filled ends up.

My gripe is, psi is a measure of pressure, not volume - y'know, pounds per square inch. It'd certainly equate to how quickly a pone would swell with a given elasticity, but it's no indicator of how big they'll end up, unless you know beforehand how stretchy they are and how much pressure their hide can actually handle before equalizing out.

It's a small thing, but it irks me.
