I always thought a good explanation for robot fat would be some sort of gel-based heat sink system. So, If a robot girl is having overheating problems, they add a large area for the heat to dissipate in. It also means robots that don't work as well, or overheat more (which I sort of imagine is the equivalent of poor health) would have to be much bigger.

Not bad, I prefer the idea of her getting 'damaged' in battle and eating to restore her health, but overdoing it until she becomes a morbidly obese wreck, wheezing after a short walk and complaining about chest pains. Then, in a perticularly physically draining fight, her health starts to plummet as her heart begins to ache even worse. I like the idea of having multiple heart attacks and surviving each one, but one after another they become worse. More wheezing, more pain, eventual need o and oxygen tank. But after each one, her heart is revived by say a defibrillator. However, it is clear that her body is failing. Eventually, she then becomes really worried as her heart aches during a massive stuffing and to relive the pain, she gets fibrillated, but it doesn't work. She seems to have run out of luck as her heart grows even worse. In her final moments, she returns to the only thing keeping the pain at bay, food. Even if it is worse for her heart, even if it lead her to this attack, she isn't going down with an empty stomach.
