Unova is a pretty good region, nice taste.
Sounds like science is your thing, so your best bets I can think of off the top of my head are the Aether setup in Castelia or, if you don't mind working in a smaller setting, Dr Fennel. Also in Castelia.

At GLACIER we go through old buildings and renovate them to create new jobs. In Unova alone we've created at least 15,000 jobs in restaurants, banks and other businesses. We've been going through several of the run down buildings in Black City prepping them to be turned into something a bit less shady.

Yes the process is stressful. But what you can do is minimize it. Basically try bonding with them during that time and have them have closure with their old trainer. When you do hit the road and get to your new living space try settling in slowly like most people so they get comfortable as well.

Instability in a Pokemon's life can lead to stress, yes. Pokemon are intelligent creatures, explain to them the situation as best you can, they will likely understand.
Coming to terms with the situation will take time, yes, but you can help them by being there for them as a friend and making their time with you as comfortable as possible.
Anything else is entirely dependent on the personalities of the Pokemon in question - some will prefer to adjust to the new area bit by bit, while others will prefer to dive headfirst.

I mean yeah they have claws, but so do a lot of other non bug 'mons.
They don't have those huge things as a Wimpod though, so you'd have plenty of time to adjust before they come out.
If you get one, they really like chips. So if they're scared of you at first, which is a large possibility, you can help them warm up to you with some treats.
