Anthro characters offer lots of variety in many categories. Picking just one category that you like and pretending it's the only one that matters is ludicrous because it ignores all the other inherent differences. If for some bizarre reasons Zootopia announced that the canon was they all had human-style genitals, it would not magically undo all the distinct differences and variety of character, the nuance in the narrative, and the overall themes of the film that were made possible by having animal characters.
This is comparable to saying "what's the point of exotic furries if they don't have accurate anal glands??"; it's a singular aspect and one that not everyone cares about or wants, and not the sole, defining trait that makes the characters distinct.

Yes, and many people don't want animal genitals. They are, even sexually, into other aspects of anthro characters.
Once again, even when sex is involved, that's not the one, singular thing that matters when making a character who is anthropomorphic. If anything the divide matters more.

Likewise, anthropomorphic animals are a mix of human and animal features. Some are animal (e.g. tails, snouts) and some are human (e.g. upright posture, opposable thumbs). However, which features are human and which are animal (or blended between the two) varies between depictions and styles. You have a design that picks attributes from two different columns, but some people like you insist that genitals MUST come from the animal column. It's the same logic people use when they're okay with lizard girls who stand upright, have human skeletal structure, speak english, and are warm blooded, but god forbid they have nipples, because there's some rule somewhere where that particular aspect can only be borrowed from the animal column and never from the human.

Happened to me once at work. I left my laptop open when I went to the bathroom and when I went back a few coworkers were having a discussion about some project and had commandeered my laptop briefly to look up a page relevant to their discussion (probably thought it was a work one).

I have written and I have drawn many, many pages, and I can tell you that I found there is one point in common between the two: whatever you do, you will have some unsatisfaction in your works. Because you think you could have done better.
But, if you think about it, it is a good thing: you recognize that there is still room for improvement, and you know the general direction you could go.
But, then, why create if it is all unsatisfactory?
Because, if you continue long enough, you will see that there is some satisfaction to be found, pride even.
For example, until yesterday's MisterE's otter, I always felt deeply unsatisfied about my lewds. I saw improvement, and there were some nice moments, but it wasn't enough.
But yesterday I saw my drawing and said: "Nice". I still see hundreds of point I can improve in, but I still feel a nice feeling when looking at it.
What I want to say is, no matter how shit you think your works are, continue.
Also remember that you are your worst critic, and anons will gleefully enjoy your works, even if for you they aren't good enough

Honing your own skills by trying to ask yourself "How could I make this better next time?" is the way to go! And believe that you can, even if you don't see the answer clearly.
