The first and probably main one the story of Derek Smithin's later life and his failed marriage, although it's more of a premise for the tale about his genet protege trying to locate him and then coming to terms with what her mentor had become.

It would involve most of the cast for various reasons. It would say some are overdeveloped tertiary characters, though it wouldn't be entirely accurate as some have full stories of their own right.

Another major would revolve around Evie Misley and her reluctant attempts to pursue her dreams - it would largely feature Particia Melington, who is an accomplished artist.

Others, like Colin Armadura trying to form a friendship with Cynthia Fallow or Jim Tailor trying to manipulate the events to avoid inheriting the grocery shop he works are something much smaller, but the larger stories would probably echo in theirs to some extent seeing how the city isn't THAT big and a lot of things are intertwined.
