Yeah, there were fireworks in the comment section, but I honestly can't blame people who disliked the second chapter. That sex scene had absolutely zero foreshadowing. Even though I read the fic long after its rating had changed to M, I couldn't help but that "Wow, that's sudden."

Thanks! No reason in particular, it's mainly a coincidence. I did intend for Breathers to be an inflation fic and most ponies' impulse is to inflate Applejack rather than feed her, however, one of my other goals from the start was to shake things up as often as possible so a story about ponies getting inflated over and over and over again doesn't get too repetitive or boring. I try and make the methods used and circumstances surrounding each of the inflation/fattening parts unique. So Applejack getting filled with liquid, air, helium, clouds, magic, and food, in that order, was something that I planned out from the start.

I do love weight gain stuff, though! Not as much as inflation, but I do love it. They're both very different beasts, and they aren't interchangeable, but I have written weight gain stuff before, I just didn't realize until now that I haven't published any of it. So, it's mainly a coincidence, and me trying to shake things up.

But I loooooove weight gain. I love dom/sub stuff and light (light!) slob stuff. And the whole dom/sub thing works both ways. I like it when the sub is the feedee and gets force fed, with all the bullying, teasing, and humiliation that goes with it, and I like when the dom is the feedee and they bully others around to indulge their gluttony.

I actually had another idea (please don't make me write another whole thing, though) a looooong time ago where I tried to think of a way to incorporate weight gain into an episode that was both sexy and plausibly deniable as a joke. What I ended up settling on was Pinkie and Applejack going to cook which ends up escalating into an argument over which one of them is the best chef in Ponyville. They announce that they'll have a baking contest, and Fluttershy happens to be present, so they appoint that she'll be the judge. So they do their thing, Fluttershy tastes both of the dishes, and being the doormat that she is, she says that they're both equally delicious. Then, she ends up saying the same thing for every single course that they make, and it ends in a draw. Not content with a draw, they hold another cook-off, with Fluttershy as the judge yet again. They keep putting food in front of her, and she keeps saying they're both equally good, and they keep making more and more food faster and faster, until they're literally face-to-face with each other shoving their food in Fluttershy's mouth, who gets super fat. Then, some kind of revelation is had, a resolution is reached, they make up, and friendship lessons are learned. Throughout all this, nobody seems to notice or acknowledge Fluttershy getting increasingly fat and bloated throughout the episode, she's relegated to a running joke, and that's how it ends: with her fat and miserable on stage. Iris closes around her head, she burps, iris out.

I kept some of this as inspiration for the last Breathers chapter, obviously.

You know, I can see the similarities, but I still think a "changling + Want-It-Need-It spell" story would play out rather differently in practice. In "Breathers", AJ inflates but, thanks to ingenuity and luck, she keeps escaping to get inflated again. With your story idea, I'm not sure how a love-stuffed changeling could deflate quickly enough, so as soon as they grow big enough to hamper mobility, they're pretty much doomed.

Full disclosure, this anon is me. Since I'm the way that I am, and nothing can ever be simple, this simple thing has grown to a full-fledged story, with original characters and everything.

The first half is unfinished and mostly in flashback. It goes on for a bit until they get called to the castle. Then, most of the Cadence part as-is. Then perspective shifts back to the changeling girls in their wing of the castle, then back to the end of the Cadence part. Then more stuff after that.

It's not a linear story to be read from top to bottom at the moment, it's two incomplete parts from separate points in a larger plot. It's all very Game of Thrones. Anyway, hope that assuages any confusion.

If that's what you were looking forward to, I'm very sorry. If you really want to read a story where ponies are going splat left and right, I suggest you write one yourself. Wanting to read stories that no one else was writing was how I got into writing in the first place, so don't be shy. Don't worry about going out of your way to differentiate yours from mine, either. On a related note, am I the only one who actually likes the new changeling designs? I mean, I know that it was a sudden, drastic change, but I think they're cute. Please tell me there are others who feel this way.

Also, the transformation is convenient for me because it lets me directly contradict established canon. This story revolves around the fact that if changelings disguise themselves as another pony, any love that's felt will go to that pony instead, or just kind of float off into the aether. Whereas up to this point, the entire point of changelings is that they kidnap ponies, replace them, and then feed off of the love from that pony's loved ones.

Buuuuut, since changelings aren't strictly parasites anymore, I can say that the love they feel for themselves and others changed their bodies so it can't steal love anymore, only love directly felt toward the changeling. But, any love that they receive directly is much, much more potent (re: fattening) than love intended for other ponies. Eh? See? Still canon-friendly.

...and then I threw in a thing about sex/masturbation being the quickest way to burn off excess love, cause why the fuck not who's gonna stop me.

Less than stellar handling of their reformation aside, I like the new narrative possibilities it opens up, like them being adorably naive and gullible about what "friendship" entails. Plus I like their visual design enough to do weird fetish things to them (as seen here >>10098672), though I wish their entire previous design wasn't sacrificed/demonized for it.

I was actually thinking of making a new OC to dump into the pot with the other three, and thought about using a candybug for it, since I'd like to take a crack at making an OC one that doesn't look totally garbage. Mostly I'd like another male creature to inflict unrestricted exploratory fetishism upon, but having a shapeshifter on hand wouldn't hurt either.

Only thing giving me pause is knowing how divisive they are for a lot of people given their origins, so if I start only drawing them along with my other nerds I might start hemorrhaging followers or something. I already kinda feel bad about not doing much besides parading around my own OCs in this thread all the time, and was planning on trying to do some canon character requests once I got done with a few things I was working on.

Speaking of those things I was working on, what does anyone else around here think of griffons and specifically paw inflation? Feel like I gotta ask since it's PONY inflation thread and all, so it may be another one of those fringe derivative things nobody around here but me really cares about.

Gryphs are fun, don't have any OC ones myself (well, ones that are entirely mind and that I wouldn't feel bad about ruining with the puffy fetish stuff, anyways - this one's a friend's) but the long thin tails offer silly opportunities like sticking them into air tank valves, and the big wings are prime for puffing up. Not personally into paw inflation that much, but it's fun all the same, and I will say probably criminally underdone when it comes to gryphs as well.

Also, if you wanna have a candyling to use and abuse, I say do it, forget those who don't like it. We'll get used to it sooner or later, it's just the new Twilicorn drama.

I also kinda wanna burst one of the bugs myself anyhow, if you'd allow it. Headcanon is they shower everything with glitter when popped. Bitch to wash off afterwards since they're right at the center of it, though.

It's really a wonder I have as many followers as I do, given the circumstances. Primarily draw weird fringe aspects of a weird fringe fetish, dedicated to a specific cartoon show, on a site that really isn't built to be an art site even if that's all anyone uses it for. Plus I recently heard that posts that link to external sites don't show up in searches (as if anyone actually uses tag search on tumblr), so 99% of my posts won't be there since I link to dropbox for full resolutions. And with the new change to disallow blogs tagged as NSFW (like mine, because I can't stop drawing dicks) from being viewable at all unless you're signed in, I feel like my slow visibility growth might get slower. Not that it really matters much; I sure as hell didn't get into drawing cartoon horse balloons for the recognition.

I mostly just know how hard good content of this kind of thing is to find (why I started drawing it in the first place), and want to be able to do a little of something for everyone if I can. Even if I might be better off remaining hyperfocused on things I know have next to NO good content, like paws and ponuts.

Well, I'll quit blogposting and go and finish that other thing nobody around here cares about, and then try and take some canon character requests to work on over the next few days if nothing murders my free time. The Cheerilee watertank thing is still technically on the backburner, but I may have let the idea sit too long, so I don't know if I'll get to it or not. So if anyone else wants to tackle that one, feel free.

Hell, I might just have to give gryph paw inflation a go too when I finally get to that third sequence idea. Just need to figure out a believable pose that has her head and paws in line-of-sight to the blast, that or just say 'fuck it, it happens because I said so'. Might as well try new stuff, and I do already tend to draw the paws/feet inflating when I do non-pone stuff anyways.

I just need to stop having the lazy and get the five remaining sequence pictures done for the current commission first. And see if I can still focus on drawing even after getting a half-inch gash on my left finger today doing yardwork. Can't remember the last time I got a cut this deep.

Yeah, I know all too well the feeling of liking someone's stuff even if they won't quit drawing things that are too damn weird for me. (and yes, there are things too weird for me, oh dear god are there ever) Really I think I'm just drawn to anything anatomically unusual that I think would be new and interesting to inflate, like tits being crammed down there with all the other fun bits. I lurked this fetish's fandom for about 15 years before going public, so I've had a lot of time to familiarize myself with the more common aspects that don't always do it for me anymore. Could have been a pincer attack, a shot from the front and back simultaneously. Or if ti's supposed to be a single BIG bomb, maybe it landed square on her back, the impact causing her back legs to buckle and fly up immediately before detonation. Would probably hit the wings pretty good too, really. I'm sure you'll figure something out.

Don't suffer on my or anyone else's account, though. I don't think anyone expects an artist to keep chugging along like nothing happened if they injured their drawing hand. That thing's kind of important, you know. Good luck either way.

Eh, I'm a righty, left hand's only for working the undo and zoom when drawing, and other things when not. Did cut deep enough to hit some nerves, though, I think, so it's not feeling particularly pleasant. The lack of art stuff's more just down to being a lazy butt who's exhausted after doing yard work, you guys know how I can easily crank out a four-pic sequence in a few hours if I don't have anything better to do.

I'd say draw what you want, might not be for everyone but the people who're weirded out by that stuff shouldn't matter anyways. You got a distinct and pleasing style going for ya, and there's always the chance that you might run into another weirdo artist who takes a look at your art and decides to draw something like it, either 'cos the idea's silly, cute, or fun enough to warranty there being more, or it's just that dang unf that there really should be more of it in existence. Latter case here, ponuts are eh, puffy ponuts are hell yes.

Like others have said, at the end of the day, just draw for you. Others might follow, others might not. Important thing is you're enjoying doing it.

If you like it, toss it in. Outright losing a reader is pretty hard past the first page or so. Worst case scenario someone who finds it annoying will just glaze over it once the cliché starts forming and pick back up a paragraph or two down the line.

In my personal opinion I love the Lily one most in this out of the trio, Roseluck in a close second. Roseluck may be in the most spherical shape out of the three, with her head sunken into her body, probably mumbling and pleading for help, not to mention she has the most terrified look on her face with her round, bulging cheeks and the possibility of her limbs wriggling and kicking about. They tick all my boxes.

However what gets me for Lily is how upset she is about the whole ordeal. Just like Rose, her weighty hooves would be wriggling about. If all of they're heads are the same size I think she would be the biggest out of them all when comparing them. But what really stands out for me is her face and her butt. They're both so....THICC!

I don't mean to discourage you with not saying stuff about Daisy. Again it's my opinion.

On a whim I decided to check the thread out in VR. Holy fuck this is amazing. Inflated poners in room sized resolutions. The up-scaling algorithms make it look just as good as the original scale. There are no cheap headsets yet for PC, though they call the phone stuff cardboard VR for a reason. I see this taking off pretty well in the future, using a friend's was all I needed to do to see this stuff wasn't going to be forgotten by 2020. More and more software has VR support, and there's been some genuinely neat innovation in game-design. The Rift had a pretty good price drop a bit ago putting it and the controllers at about 600 (was 800), about the same as a high end monitor / elite version of a gaming console.

Anything more than three is probably too much, I would say, pulling from all of my no experience doing commission work. It's one thing to chip away at a 10 part sequence if you're doing it for yourself, but another thing entirely if you're on a schedule.

Only schedule I have is for myself, really, but the fact that I've a self-imposed rule of 'no other pictures until a sequence is finished' kinda digs into the whole thing. The windfall from an 8-page sequence is nice, though, but chances are I am definitely taking a break from 'em once this thing's done. Especially since I got the idea for a new character and I really really wanna get him drawn up and posted somewhere while he's still fresh in mind - it's a dragon... made from bagpipes. Answer stays the same. Outright sinking into the body has the best aesthetic. Inflated necks like daisy's rarely come out looking right, at best the lead looks like it's stuck in a life preserver and at worst it looks like it's being sucked into a giant ponut. Lily is alright, but it's kind of a generic fat-face. It doesn't convey well that she's full of fluid. A heavier droop and a bit of leakage could probably fix that, though.

That wasn't actually me. Apart from a couple single post things, I've been pretty unproductive recently. I hit a pretty hard roadblock with the Ember story, though I've got some time set aside later this week to try again. I did enjoy that anon's work, its always nice to see something you wrote expanded on. I was actually hoping that each princess would inflate with a different author's / story's method. Using separate source materials would be a fun and meta way to highlight the differences in each pony's dreamscape.

R-Panic here. Working on a commission for an alternate ending to "Evil Expandtress". (Before I've written the real ending, because why make it easy on myself?) It's coming slowly because the commissioner had some pretty specific stuff he wanted in the story, most of which aren't really my thing at all, so it's hard to get excited about this one.

Splorch_Bucket reporting. The main thing in the pipe is a "Yandere Ember wants Spike's dick despite his and the Main6's protests" story. Going for prose instead of >green. Outline estimates and already written parts put it around 10k words or so. There's also a couple half written smaller things awaiting completion including a cow-pony stuffing / weightgain, a Discord / Fluttershy piece based on Zoid's honey inflation pics, and a darker one with Celestia, Luna, and Cadence based around the LostDragon pics in >>10154189. sorry, RL caught up with me for awhile. Still haven't worked out which princess to do next. Also, I realized that nearly all of my next couple of posts are about the setup for the rest of the expansions. But here is a peak at where the story is going.

Pablote here. I think, after all this time, I'm finally gonna take the plunge and officially make a ponysona. I've already thought of enough "Well, if I DID have a ponysona, I'd..." That I've already done most of the work. Just need a few details ironed out, which I can't decide on.

So. His name is Parchment Bleach. He's an earth pony. He has a white coat and gray eyes.

Here's what I can't decide on- first, I figured he'd just be white with a white mane, like my fursona. Then I saw Double Diamond, and I was like "Oh. Yeah, pretty much like that." So, that convinced me that having a lightly-colored mane would be better than just a pure white one. The question is, since I don't want to completely crib but Double Diamond's color scheme, what color should his mane be? Second, a cutie Mark. I can't think of one that isn't terribly generic. Does anyone else have any suggestions?

How about a typewriter hammer or old-style printing press striking a page, fits with the name and also hints at the cartoonish flattening aspects. Mane could be a lighter grey, make it different enough to be distinct from the coat while close enough to still work out.

Oh, no, I'm perfectly aware of what I'm asking for by doing this, and I'm fine with that.

Initially, I thought a blonde mane would work, since yellow's my favorite color, then I remembered that that's Surprise's color scheme. However, after some thinking, I decided that I, nor anyone else, would really care about that. So I may just go with a pale blonde mane. It also fits with the "bleach" motif.

As for cutie mark, yeah, I can dig a stylized printing press. Like he got his cutie mark when he witnessed somepony getting pulled into a printing press and flattened. So it's like a strip of parchment stretched between two rollers.

So, we have Parchment Bleach, an earth pony stallion with a white coat, a shaggy, pale blonde mane and tail, and glasses. He works and lives above a parchment/paper shop, but secretly enjoys writing stories centering on physical comedy I'm his free time. While generally grumpy, and kind of lazy, he has a habit of slyly pulling pranks on other ponies, or unsubtly inflicting cartoonish harm on them in the name of "research". However, he still gets flustered and embarrassed when his hobby inevitably comes back to bite him in the ass, whether that be a past or would-be victim getting their revenge, or just accidentally hoisting himself by his own petard.
