What's the deal with all the Imperial Godzilla knock offs?
I get that back in 1985 it was like the only Godzilla toy for kids in the states but there's so many different variations of it. A bunch having different colors and sculpts
I just feel like there's some interesting history there somewhere
also some non-cyborged Gigans
i miss my huge imperial godzilla.
I do have one of these. Its the one in the back with the red spray. It was $4 at a thrift store about a year ago so I picked it up just because. I think if you have a kaiju collection of any size or kind, you're missing out by not having at least one bootleg Imperial Godzilla.

I used to have the red and the yellow ones in the back of the pic. Apparently my mom found them in some lead paint article and ditched them. Shit sucks
whats the deal with this guy?
I used to have him when I was a kid, is that a KO Godzilla?
I'd like to see one of these repainted to look more screen accurate.
Man, I love old Imperial style monster dinos. After Jurassic Park, the dollar store toy co.s all started to make biologically accurate dinosaurs instead of dinozillas.
Speaking of which, Hollar has a small monstery $3 T-Rex model kit, some company apparently recently purged him from their ranks in favor of a more modern JP-ish T-Rex. I passed on buying him, now sort of regret it. If I see another free ship over $10 promo code, I'll buy him, and some other worthless shit I don't need.

I had the same one! Wish i still had it. I used to like popping the tail and limbs on and off.

I know right, it was fun playing with my g I Joe toys because it was easy to put him back together

I had that guy too. Got him on my fifth birthday. Still have him too, one of the oldest toys I still own. I have actually owned him for 31 years. My brother had one too. He and I were about a year apart and we always had to have matching toys. I could always recognize mine because it was more black then green and his had a lot of bright green on the front.

Hell yeah. The energon megatron was great for that too.

I have this one too. My older cousin gave it to me when I was six and I thought it was the coolest shit ever. many bathtimes were had with it and now it sits on my shelf and terrorizes my other figs

Whats up with the white paint on the chest?
I mean I get it that they painted Godzilla green (to make him look more like lizard/dinosaur) but how did they come up with that white spot on the chest?

>Whats up with the white paint on the chest?
Silver.
Same reason some of the vinyl Kaiju in Japan have the weird rainbow and metallic colors: Kids like it. Shiny, brightly colored monsters grab their eye better than screen accurate models.

have 3 of this one (had more, but sold them) and 2 of the reddish one

wait...why does he look like
