Pretty gay that 40th barely even hit shelves here. It was the Vader box, a handful of Leias, and a random Luke or Ben now and then.

The hilarious thing about Han Solo, though, is that there was a time when you couldn't even give the boxed version away. I bought a bunch of overstock, sat on them a little, and was getting $40 a pop. 40th kind of wrecked that, although it was weird seeing the same toy go for $75 just because it was on a card.

The guard is the royal guard rip-off with that plated armor. That one will probably sell. Though the leaks make it sound like they're not around much, and Luke dispatches them instantly. So they may sell on looks alone.

Picked these two up. Lando is fine but makes me want more ESB figures. I need my Cloud City Han already.

Phasma I bought for the design, cool looking figure and stands better than I thought she would. Also helped that my one of my local LCS dropped from $40+ to retail price.

Neither are worth more than $25 though, but theyre fun if you can find them for under that.

I don't think Magic Mike affected Star Wars.

2012 did. Gi Joes are largely irrelevant to SW,

TPM 3D killed the toylines, Pegwarming very hard for months.

But in 2012 hasbro also released shitty 3 packs of out dated figures with lower articulation.
And then they did 5poa.
The next 3d releases were cancelled and they went with TBS instead of the Legacy build a droid line they had planned.
Then tne 6" figures came out, were successful and then went to town with them as TBS figures sat on shelves rotting. -the Bastila wave is still on shelves in the UK.

The argument could be made for both sides but personally I don't think hasbro intentionally killed SA. It was a combination of things happening that shook the business side of things in favour of 6" and 5poa.
