MANIFEST BREASTINY arrived today. Bretty gud, although she almost has too many cannons, especially the little auxiliary ones. They bump into each other a fair bit so it limits how much you can twist the turrets around.

Got my Iowa today as well. The stand was weirdly jank, and their packing job managed to leave the front of the packaging caved in some. I'd have sworn the stand was a bootleg one if it wasn't straight from GSC. The base was subtly warped which made it wobble, and all 3 joints in the arm were loose as well. One of the deckboards wasn't fully pegged in at the bow, but that was easy enough to fix by pushing down and popping it into place.

Definitely agree that the sheer amount of weapons making it somewhat hard to actually pose, but I got mine into a good enough pose for me after some fighting with the arm joints. The hands are kind of weird in that they seem to have a little rim or something to pop them into place, and if you don't push down to that point they come off easily.

Overall pretty happy with it, just a bit confused by how jank the stand was and disappointed their packing job let the front get caved in some.

Gdi, I went to look at my parents' house, but I couldn't find my Miku 2.0 box anywhere. It has all of her spare parts in it! I hope they didn't toss it out.

I got two horses but both of them have super loose legs. It tilts the fuck out of me cause it's super crappy to pose them. Anyone else have this problem with their horses? Are there any other good horses that are not figma?

Surprisingly small when I first got into this line and after several figmas later I don't mind it as much since I did collect Revos and Gunpla at the time. Other M Samus is solid overall but after seeing Prime 3 Samus I did find it odd they didn't want to reuse the effect parts or at least throw in a missle effect though it does go in line with how figma are coming with less acessories but are rising in price for releases. Nowadays I'm more careful on preorders and waiting on Mandarake if I'm lucky for a decent deal.

Also the whole Ironman debacle really has me wary those releases if they want to do more MCU armors with metal paint applications.

Well it'll depend on how it comes out given the mess that has been a few other figma's with metallic paint in promo's but matte plastic on release, but generally the Prime 3 figma looks to be quite a decent figure with some exceptional articulation but is lacking accessory wise. Overall it seems like the best figure any of the Prime suits we'll ever get.
Honestly I'm hoping the game.classics line does a Super style Samus because it's the definitive Samus and really need s to be done justice.

The new Guts is just bullshit, it's good for people who don't wanna pay the current price but that's it, no real improvements. SK armor doesn't seem harder to sculpt than berserker armor, I think they could do a good job. Berserker doesn't have the best articulation but it's still very decent despite what people say.

One of the better things about Iowa is her head moves down far enough so it looks like she's admiring her own cleavage.

I outlined my major complaints with the figure already. Essentially, I just think it is an absolute bare minimum effort figure. The sculpt doesn't come across as a sultry, adult woman at all and I think it just looks goofy overall. Not just in poses I've put it in but in every photo I can think of, as well. The miscolored joints was an atrocious choice. I also think that the faces are more silly than sexy. I would probably buy it again just because I'm a huge Berserk fan, but I can honestly say it's one of the worst value purchases I've made in the hobby. Conrad is fine, seeing as how he's well sculpted and painted and I knew he was basically an accessory going in.

You can essentially make a hallway out of them, just don't use the side walls and make the room longer than the two squares it would normally be. There's no way to connect them on the front though, so you couldn't make a square 2x2 room unless you simply placed them next to each other. There's also the option of stacking rooms, as each room comes with the pieces to connect the top/bottom of the walls to another floor

For anyone who's actually played the game, the armor sets aren't the things that are by your side throughout the game and make a lasting impression. In practice most players likely have tried the "iconic" armor sets for just a few hours until a better load-out but it's the soulsfus that supported you throughout the journey that you can't forget. Honestly I think some Dark Souls weapons/spells are more iconic than the armors since they span multiple series and are used on runs long after the armor gets ditched. Things like the Moonlight Greatsword, Black Knight weapons and Sunlight Spear. Hence why getting the 1/12 Black Knight Sword will be amazing.

On top of the stats all the Black Knight weapons look reassuringly lethal. Menacing, badass weapons that can fuck up giants, demons and whatever other PvE shit they throw at you.

Nothing wrong with you finding it easy but I have no clue how you'd even compare him to the Pursuer. You can ballista cheese the first and more importantly parry the Pursuer. You can just block/tank viably throughout the whole fight or just run-and-snipe - stuff even any newbie can do honestly. None of that works against the Fume Knight.

Requires a lot more skill since ranged spells don't do shit and not forgiving to tanky/hit-taking strategies.

Except not everyone is adept at melee, dodging and parrying/backstabbing while some may argue it is the essence of Dark Souls. Newbies cry because spell spam doesn't work and it's just not possible to tank the shit out of him. I've played as all those types of characters (agile melee, spell spamming faggot and tank) and certainly mashing L1 and chugging sunny D as tanking or running around and mashing L1 as spell spammer are much easier things that anyone can do.

There's not much room to fuck up against Fume Knight given the damage he does when you're in light armor and have to get into melee range.

Chogokin Gil is perfection by comparison but the figma is also quite nice. if you play Fate GO i like to use the unarmored look for his final ascension look. Both are pretty great as figures but for different reasons.

Yeah if I ever roll him but I did bounce around the two. I dig the headsculpt on the Chogokin but something about Gil's ascended look does it a little more with Enkidu. Maybe it's the need to have Gates of Babylon to complete the display.

I own both too and to me there's not a clear winner. The Chogokin feels nice in hand and displays really good in neutral poses, but the figma has a more dynamic sculpt and poses way better (the legs specially).

What happens here is that the figma goes for Takashi Takeuchi's style and the Chogokin for Ufotable's Fate/zero incarnation, and both do a good job at it. Chogokin Gil faces are really good (even more so compared to the subpar ones included with Chogokin Saber), but the figma faces are more varied and feel more "alive" when you see them in person.

Ab crunch is weak but I have a lot of fun with him. Big annoyance is the lack of 2.0 arms to really try dynamic poses with the spear, sword, and shield. Also I'm not sure how consistent it is but the leather strap that goes over the hand for the shield never holds on and falls off rather easily so I occasionally use warm water to soften and re-position it for a tighter fit.

Hey, I just have a quick question for you guys.

I currently live in a single room apartment with no kitchen, and thus I cook frequently in my room. Generally, I wouldn't worry, but as I have a few figmas in my room and I'm concerned that residue from my cooking may cling to the figures, contaminating them with oils. Does anyone else have a similar living situation? Am I letting my OCD get the best of me?

Also, more directly on topic, just got my Zero Suit Samus off of Amazon. Turned out to be a really nice fig overall, they did a superb job.

This. It's why I'm happy to have both, the Chogokin for my Ufotable FZ display and Figma for my general Fate display. Figma Gil with the shirtless upper torso also works well in depicting that unique look from FHA, Extella and/or FGO, and it's the main reason I got the Figma.
