I don't know why it's so cheap, I can only guess people want the TP or some other modern Link more, even the old SS figure isn't gong for too much.

Of course the wrist joints look terrible, the elbows have that usual round bulge that every Figma has, and Goodsmile knows it's bad. Why else does every promo shot have the toys posed to hide this bulky tumor in the elbow joint? Plus the usual tiny ass pegs that Japanese figures tend to have.

I got one on sale on Amazon. Then I saw the elbow discs and scrawny wrists. Then I watched a review and saw all the super tiny pegs. I didn't even open it, just sold it on eBay. If I want a Link shelf trinket to stand there on display I can get the Jakks figure or an Amiibo for less and not have a bag full of accessories I will never use.

Second, this kind of banging around not only crushes the packaging but also severely risks mangling the toy inside. I haven't opened it but I'm wondering if the contents in the bottom perhaps could be damaged.

I bought this as a gift for someone. Not only is it in bad visual condition with a crushed box, it might be broken, and oops, I have to give this to them today, even if I did initiate an exchange request that would delay delivery of the gift by up to a damn week, all because the packer was too lazy to add a few air bags they usually use.

The big insult? A few days ago I got a damn art portfolio folder with plenty of the air bags for packing, and that is sturdy enough to do without.

Nope, the big insult is I'm a paid Prime member and got shit like this. Why am I paying $11 a month for Prime if they can't put care into their packing? I could cut Prime and go back to ordering the minimum needed for free shipping.

I did fill in a packaging feedback, but I'd be surprised if Amazon even reads those or cares, since they've done this crap for years to various customers. They either use no padding or put the shipping label right on the flimsy packaging.
