When are we going to get a Lego Zuckuss?
Why wasn't he included in the Bounty Hunter Pack?
>>
Opinions on just2good? He can act a bit autistic sometimes but he's alright imo
>>
>>6380155
He's alright, he's a bit of an autist but it's sort of in an endearing way.
I like how 'unprofessional' his stuff feels, he doesn't feel too corporate or that he's putting any of it on.

Welp, looks like Claude (one to the left of Royce, in red) is designated interspecies communication.

Or maybe it can just be one of the agents in the background. They all wear black too.

Claude might not be the best for interspecies communication. He likes large guns a lot.

Or maybe that would make him best. Depends on the disposition of the species, I guess.

red - spacecraft and starbase crew
blue - ground crew, also general engineering/administration
black - special forces, Blacktron liaison
dark blue - Space Marines
gray - no idea

Superb. Not the biggest fan of the spindly upper arms, but I guess it allows for more range of motion and helps accentuate the hips. Using the letter pieces as eyes is genius
>>
>>6380710
I ended up using a bunch of paper towels and sticky taped them together into a sheet that covered my light sources. It seems to have worked well enough, but I'd like to have a nicer setup for when I eventually have to do this again.

>>6380718
Truthfully, I can't take credit for the 'letter piece as eyes' idea. I copied it from a build I saw here. It was a smaller robot with a tv screen for a face. But thank you anyway.

However, I'm not entirely convinced by the mouth area, it looks too broken up and gappy, whereas I think you could smooth it out more into a nosecone or something.

Keep up the good work!

I see the Power Jet in there. Really liking the proportions, and odd details like the permanent en pointe stance.

Yeah, I'm not too convinced on the lower part of the head as well. I kinda wanted to make it smother than what it is now but I couldn't come up with a stable design. I might go back later and rework it to look less gappy.

>>6380727
Sure was.

Calling it a fandom would raise wrong expectations. Especially if you compare it to MLP or Sonic etc.
Everybody outs their autism in very different ways, but Lego-autists do it by actually building with it the most ofcourse. There are Waifubots and Moe-onicles and stuff, but building those actually requires some skill. Waifigs and Husbandos are easier, but often require rare parts from whole different eras if you want to do something crazy. Something that most kids don't have access too and those kids are the biggest source of all things of the deviantart fanart variety.

Last time i checked, there are minimal lego related works on r34 and the likes. But as character and theme specific things go, there are more Ninjago, Nexoknights and TLM drawings than others. But in the end it's still a very small amount compared to just how insanely popular and widespread Lego is as a phenomenon.
Only relatively high-quality risque tier art is a series by Gashi-Gashi and a painting by the artist of Timeplitters and a spoof 50's buxom style cover.

We did have an anon posting a pic of his hotglued bird-waifu ITT though, so i don't know.

Me too, was very skeptical of them even as a kid but got lods of them on my birthday party that year.
That scepsis dissipated rather quickly after me and my older brother started using road baseplates to ramp them over shit on increasingly complex hazard courses.

Shredd was my nigga.
>>
>>6382020
I just wish it had more big sets. It had that one set with freeze, chill and a ramp, but never again. As with a lot of 90s/early 2000s LEGO collectible themes it just sorta feels like a missed opportunity.

Use Simple Green instead of dishwashing soap. Soap bubbles only work to mechanically remove dirt if they're being jostled and scrubbed. Simple Green dissolves dirt on contact.

I'll be honest with you anon, group photos are so difficult for me to shoot, that's why I don't really have many.

My light box is smaller than ideal. It only really fits two figures comfortably. Any more than that and I have to start cramming them in.

You can't tell because I use photoshop to edit out the walls, floor and ceiling of my light box, but I literally ran out of room with this photo. Adding to that, my camera is a potato, so a lot of the quality is lost, and it ends up looking grainier than a beach.

Regardless, it is nice putting them together like this. It's like a big happy family photo. Here you go, anon. One family photo, just for you.

Maybe in the future I'll take more photos of them interacting together.

Thanks anon, glad to see them all together.

And speaking of crappy lightboxes and potatocams, how do you anons like my Rogues Gallery so far? A bit of a mix between a few custom minifigs and TLBM figs (because those generally seem to have the best designs), I also have the TLBM Bane set still in its box from a few weeks ago.

I plan on switching out Mr. Freeze's face for the one in the Juniors set, maybe even change the torso and legs out too. I'll probably switch Poison Ivy's fig for the TLBM version as well once I get my hands on her.

Additionally, I want to make a brick-built custom Clayface, though nothing like the movie set. Probably something around Croc's size.

Any suggestions/who should I add next?
I also have a Batmobile if anyone wants to see, I've posted it here before. I really should work on my Batwing too. And my Justice League. Jeez I have a lot to do. Blogpost over.

Nah, just snapped that one, and ill tell you right now (and I have been a HUGE chink/3rd party shill here), he face printing is a fucking joke, and the quality of the fig IS shit, same with roman bruce there, arms fall off easy as fuck. I think KOPF is the brand they are sold under. I havent tried sticking official lego arms in the torsos yet, they might fit better. Sad thing is the body printings pretty good, doesnt feel cheap and doesnt rub off if you apply some force to it.

Rickshaw dude had his own problem. One of his hands actually got stuck in his arm, and when I tried to twist it out, it snapped. Had to use a pin vice to drill the peg out. Salvaged, but watch out. Luckily they did what all good chink suppliers do, three hands with the fig. Brick quality was pretty solid, even if they look and feel a little cheap and the colors might be a bit off. Solid connections, even the robot arm bars holding the canopy on the rickshaw are solid.

True....hmm. Cant remember if it was expensive or not. Got lucky with a couple of the brown panties that came on Leia in the ewok village, got like three pairs for like $1.20 each.

Also dont want four of them with the same exact undies, you know how women get.

Its a joke guys, come on. Reality is I like them all to be a bit different if I can. Already have enough storm troopers to make a clone army.

The placement of the batman minifig throws the picture out of scale, this thing is actually only about couple plates higher than a batman minifig sitting down. the only thing batman is sitting on is a speed champions chassis in the lowest possible position, and plus the speed champions fenders are a bit limiting due to their size.

I really should take some new pictures, I've updated it a bit.

You need to release an LDD for it my dude, its definitely one of the cooler MOC batmobiles out there, and seems simple enough.

It's going to be the set with the largest piece count, the current one is Ghostbusters firehouse.
This is going to be over 200 more pieces and it's $50 less.
>>
>>6383631
Number of pieces doesn't fucking matter when 3/4 of them are something like 1x1-1x2 size.
>>
>>6383638
Doesn't it? It's the same footprint as assembly square, and a lot comfier
>>
>>6383642
that doesn't look comfy, it looks claustrophobic

Which I guess makes sense for the setting, and it is fucking impressive just how much was packed into the small space.

>>
>>6383650

>>
>>6383608
I don't want to seem like a shill, buty I don't see the point of complaining about prices.
Things are priced to whatever metric lego uses for the size/complexity of the set
Out side of licenced stuff, the prices are pretty predictable and priced for what you get

This is easily the best modular yet, the only sad thing is that it's unlikely they'll do more similar cyberpunk ones to go with. The sheer amount of creative part usage is impressive, the price is not easy to justify but I'd rather spend the money on this than on the shitty ghostbusters almost-like-modular or whatever else huge d2c sets are available now.

The anglerfish is not in any of the sets revealed so far but apparently he'll be in Zane's tank which is going to be either TRU or another store chain exclusive.

Seems like the only vehicles shown in the trailers that won't be released in the first wave are Cole's mech and Garmadon's giant shark - unless the weird black mech means we won't be seeing that, which would be a shame.

Anyone know of any super small cosmetic car engine builds? I need one that will fit into a 2x2 square. I just want something that looks cute and evokes the concept of an engine, absolute accuracy isn't really feasible at such a small scale. Pic related is what I whipped up in about 15 seconds, idk what else to do.

Is the Ninjago world supposed to be Japanese or Chinese? A mix of both?

Left side is clearly サメ (which means "shark", funnily enough), the first things that come to mind with the ones on the right is 了米 but that's not a word in Japanese. However, I'm not good with kanji so maybe they are something else with this stylization (or maybe just nothing).

Yeah, its the Rebel Combat Frigate from Star Wars Rebels. Id much rather it be a Corvette or a Tantive IV, but Im having a VERY hard time finding one for a decent price to replace it with for my Rebel Capital Ship.

Id REALLY love to get a Venator Class Star Destroyer and just redesign it to fly Rebel Colors/Stickers, but those are nearly impossible to find for cheap.
>>
>>6386580

>>
>>6386593
Im still iffy on Lepin currently.

I had recently ordered an Executor Super Star Destroyer from lepin off Ebay, and pending how that goes, I'll be able to have a better like or dislike towards them.

Im hoping that between Star Wars Rebels Season 4 and Last Jedi, we'll get another Rebel/Resistance Capitol Ship to go with the First Order Star Destroyer.

Rebels could easily lend another CR9 Corvette but in Blue, to match Phoenix Squadron's Command Ship...but for some reason they really put a hold on making new Star Wars Rebels sets midway through Season 2 (outside of the Phantom II with Thrawn recently). Rebels has SO MANY different cool sets and minifigs they could make but nothing is happening...
>>
>>6386605
Lepin would be okay if they didn't 1.steal MOC designs and 2.put up smarmy bullshit like 'we're honoring the rejected Ideas designers! not paying or even naming them but we're totally honoring them really'

as it is, fuck those rice niggers, I refuse to give them a cent.
>>
>>6386605
Ill tell you from experience. LEPIN is fine. The bricks are good quality and have good grip. Now the figures themselves.....eh, YMMV. I have the imperial flagship (pirate), the flying dutchman, the green grocer, the haunted mansion and also the grand emporium. ALL of them were decent for the price, only the figs (and the sails on the ships) were poor.

I feel the same, to be fair, but the ability to get a Super Star Destroyer for $42 (which is what I paid) is just so great. Its going to be just a display piece, so its a small price to pay...and thankfully ebay has protection in the event something bad happens.

I do know I need to basically throw the minifigs away, as they're complete ass and worthless.
>>
>>6386622
The figs from my stark tower were REALLY good, actually, even my shill ass was a little surprised by that, as the ones that came with the imperial flagship.....I swear they used decals that were way too transparent on them. I planned on breaking up the large areas of light grey with some dark grey, as a mixture of the both with a transparent color has been the motif throughout all my vehicles so far. Still, throwing some blue on there would be a nice classic space feel, so I might experiment with it.

I also plan on throwing some angled plates and tiles on the lift arms to help hide them a little, but if it doesn't work out I'll try something else.

Those are actually the exact parts I used in conjunction with mine, it's just a little hard to see. Works very well.

>Why is no one freaking out over his half torso?
Because we've already seen three other versions of it, including the OP image of this very thread.

Oh, cool. I saw the angled bricks but not the train base, I assumed its front was just a 1x4 with studs on the side.

So is there going to be a different version of her in another set that comes with the separate fin-skirt piece >>6383899 or is that printing on her legs supposed to be the skirt

The printing on her torso looks different. The CMF has gold detailing, the sticker version has white detailing.

because this piece was already used in the second wave of ninjago sets. It doesn't fit on legs, because it connects to the "neck"
