It was a pet project from Big Shot Toyworks. I'm sure if there's enough demand (and cash to back it) they could probably look into it again. As it stands Dream Big is dead.

If they were aiming at hipsters, they really should've plucked the low-hanging fruit of making a few "totally-not-earthbound-characters" or designed a few off of the pokemon player sprites so they would have had thirsty nintendrones who would inherently circlejerk the project around the internet.
