I asked the guys at BFS if they would do more historically accurate armored figures for their generic fantasy line. It would be pretty cool to get some guys with jackets of plate, hauberks, earlier mail shirts to later total mail coverage, mail coiffs etc.

ML are way too flashy. The armors are ornate, they kind you use for parades and stuff but not for combat. Those plumes and long pieces of cloth just ask to be grabbed and give the opponent domination.
Something worn out, battle damaged, with nice rub out painting job, that would be awesome.

I mean, not really. Especially depending on the time frame you're talking. The Middle Ages/Medieval Era is a huge span of time with a lot of different armor developments and changes when you're talking just Europe.

We don't even have a release date for the knight yet. There's a good chance we'll get a samurai next, but I'm hoping it just spawns a line and we get some crusaders later on.

I don't see why you'd say that. It's not like the two lines are competition, or can't both excel at what they're going for. Mythic Legions is a fantasy line that takes liberties because it's fiction and can do that. This is a realistic knight based on real world armor because heavily detailed figures are what Takeya does.

The Takeya ones look more fantasy to me than the basic ML knights even though they are more "realistic." Anyways I will be buying tons of both lines.
