Will this be just another cancelled SH item or will it actually see release?

I know it'd cost a bundle and would be prone to deteriorating, but I'd much prefer someone market a soft rubber Jabba with joints or wires under it.

Some of us like to play with toys here, sir

Whoever designed this needs to give their head a wobble. A bendy wire inside of a rubber tail would've been a much better looking solution. Or just no articulation in the tail at all. When do you ever see Jabba doing anything other than sitting around like that?

Can't cancel something that's not meant to be sold in the first place

You guys realize that articulation is pretty stupid when the figure is engineered SIDEWAYS, right?
That articulation is basically wasted, because it's like putting knee joints on our knees so they're facing sidways and a waist articulation that's going sideways too.
That Jabba is in a "sitting" pose.
Someone at Bandai doesn't understand life... or is incredibly silly and wants the most poseable preposed McStatue ever.

Uh, isn't the chest section articulated to rotate to go from 'sitting' to 'moving'? Could just be a swivel and it'd get the job done.

judging by the oblong shape of that body and how it's tapering: NOPE.
Plus, you can see green on both ends of the main body.
Most articulated McStatue of slug at rest.
If you want a Jabba without an articulate tail, I have an idea. Buy any other version of the character ever
