Has anyone had issues with Mezco Judge Dredd's suit tearing

I've had Dredd in various poses on his bike for over a year now and the material has held with no fraying or anything. If it can stay intact with his legs splayed to their extremes to straddle his bike and his arms raised as high as possible in a shooting pose for over a year, it's fine. I think you're letting the small margin of error define your impressions on the larger batch.

That said, I still don't think it's a fantastic figure. Just good.

Buy the 3A one instead, their clothing is much better in both tailoring and material. It looks much less cheap and toylike than the one in your pic.

Joints are shittier, though. They don't have any caps at the ends of them and slide out of the sockets.

Yeah I'm scared to pose anything stretched but I'm wondering more about moving it a lot than moving it in an extreme way and leaving it.

I do want to grab the 3A one but that said I think the normal version of Mezco Dredd looks totally on par with the 3A version from what I've seen. The shiny blue on the CE one looks kind of goofy, but the regular one is beautiful, at least in person.

The texture on the 3A looks much better in this pic, also the belt and elastic band elbow pads on the mezco look worse.

Eh, I chalk it up to Mezco's shitty qc, but mine had scuffs on the materiel right out of the box.

Finally got to see ThreeA's Dredd in-hand last week.

Don't bother, get the 1/6 one they're releasing instead. 1/12 version looks like hot garbage apart from the belt, badge and weathering. Also no boot knife which is a criminal omission considering Ash used to be a 2000AD artist.
