This, just fucking this.
I have no doubt in my mind it was just some bullshit rumor but back in 2011 this was teased.
A goddamn super metroid Samus, granted it's also using blacked out Brawl art but goddammit, I want a revo super Samus so bad because of this shitty photo shopped piece of trash made by some dream crushing son of a bitch.

If that were legit, it could have been a big turning point for the Revoltech line. Might have even helped for them to secure other Nintendo licenses like F-Zero and Star Fox.

Here's a RevoMini Jehuty that was teased but never went into production.

Why is this such a loss though? We had full sized ZoE revoltechs. In fact, I think revoltech has the most ZoE figures in one consistent line.

Neith and Nepthis would've been great, but it's never gonna happen with Konami all but out of the videogame business and them burning all possible bridges with Kojima.

I'm pretty happy the ZOE revo's we did get were great though.

supposedly venom snake also had a bootleg version if myfigurecolleciton is to believe, but there aren't any pics of it. i only have a stormtrooper bootleg and the main difference is that all the joints don't ratchet, especially the big ones on the torso, hips and knees, they are really smooth, which can be seen as a good thing for some, unfortunately a good deal of them are stuck, and they are really fragile and shitty.

any word on those bronze colored knights that were supposed to come out? Never really found out what they were called. One was supposed to come with a horse....they looked pretty good
>>
>>6281684
From what I remember the tells for bootlegs is by the joints they use, like if they are too brittle or just fall apart. Even heard some don't even use the Revoltech ratchet joints and instead just use smooth ones instead. Also, check color discoloration but that could just be a factor how long the figure was in the box.

Besides the figure itself, just check where you bought it from. If you got it off an eBay seller they would most likely coin the term "Chinese version" instead of bootleg since that word is taboo to any would-be buyers on the description.
>>
>>6281706
Kaiyodo tends to just slap preorders online with no fanfare these days rather than providing frequent updates on figures. We haven't heard anything about the knights since their announcement, but they'll probably just pop up one day sometime over the next few months.

The reason why I thought Yamaguchi should do more girl action figures, I'm glad Revoltecher picked them up since there weren't that many good pictures of them.

Fuuuuck. It's the astonishing costume after all, just with some shape cues taken from the classic suit. I...I'm having a hard time with this. This is clearly the best Wolverine toy ever made, but I hate the astonishing outfit so much. And the grey boots just look bad in general.

Also, is anyone else turned off by the metallic paint on these? I'm not sure what's up with that.

I like that style of hip joints, good combination or articulation and hiding the joints. But worried being used along with hinged knees. The thigh cut looks pretty straight unlike Spidey, closer to that of Venom so I can't be sure if it will be that of an issue for posing until I get Venom.

Try dealing with all the pointy bits with SHF, RDs, Gunpla etc. Deadpool's pegs are no big deal. The pegs have no grip so there is no worry of breakage from pulling out of the holes.

Just be smart about it. It looks fragile, then don't leave it alone asking it to be broken. Put it away in a stable condition. Broken out of the box, it happens but really rare I opened a few DP and they were all fine.

>>
>>6285827
>the eyes look dead

Huh? He always has blank white eyes with the mask on. I do agree he should have some canines, his teeth look too "flat" without them.
>>
>>6285827
The sculpt isn't the issue, it's the way it's painted up. Even something as simple as a few carefully placed black lines on that one would make all the difference. A big ass block of smooth white just doesn't cut it. That's the kind of stuff that made early Bandai faces look so awful compared to figma and SAS which would add that line work.

The yelling face teeth are just spaced too far apart. I've seen ML with the same issue though. Too gummy. Would have been better off just painting it all white and adding in some black line work or something. The neutral face is fine.

Yeah I've got no idea what the deal is with the hinged knees. I guess for Venom they were because he's a big guy, but there's no reason to carry them over to Wolverine

Isn't having Revoltech joints kind of the whole fucking point?
>>
>>6286162
>Isn't having Revoltech joints kind of the whole fucking point?

the first like four Revoltech releases didn't even use them in most of the joints.
>>
>>6286162
>Isn't having Revoltech joints kind of the whole fucking point?

It might sound weird, but I'm A-OK with them not being beholden to using revoljoints for everything. Their current setup using usual balljoints for hips is great, and imo better than what we got for years. It seems like spider-gwen's gonna have balljoint shoulders too.

I do understand you though, I don't really get how hinges are better than revoljoints for knees. Particularly if they only get 90 degrees of range.
>>
>>6286162
Yamaguchi has a fetish for hinges and swivels. All of his pre-Revoltech stuff used them exclusively.
>>
>>6286180

The best setup I've seen so far is still Venom Snake. Revo knees with a kneepad. I don't understand why the fuck they cannot simply do this for everything.

"But everyone doesn't HAVE a kneepad to do this with!" you say, but they could simply make the actual knee itself the "kneepad", to cover any issues. Hell, they could probably do similar for the arms with elbows if they really wanted.
>>
>>6285881
If it is not the very last day it is the release date.
>>
>>6285827
>>6285857
>>6285852

I'm a big revo fan and have been waiting for a Wolverine revo for a long while. I don't care for any movie figure stuff because I like the classic looks best so hell, while the prototypes really got me excited, sans the costume choice, this painted prototype is a big letdown. I hope they do some updates to it later or announce a retool with the classic costume or something
>>
>>6286162
>Isn't having Revoltech joints kind of the whole fucking point?
From the concept of Amazing/Ame-comi when it was announced, it said it will use a wide variety of joints, so they did decide to do what ever is convenient for the sculpt then.

>>6286178
The first three were not originally Revoltechs, that's why. Evangelion was the first sculpted Revo, hence it was similar to Assemble Borg body.

Cut joint hips or shoulders were just something Yamaguchi knew how to do so it stuck for a while.

They kept with revolver joints because of the AB aspect but since no one really bother with it with the Revo line I think they just said fuck it.
>>
>>6286262
Paint can change for sure, this is very likely a paint sample done inhouse, and not from the factory.

>>6286214
No, separate knee or elbow pieces will look ugly and ruin how Revoltechs are different from SHF or MAFEX. Figures that have those double joints that really stands out. That's why the SHF based on actors or anime tends to do single joints like Revoltech or figma.
>>

>>
>>6286352
Spider-Man too. But with an exclusive backpack!

>No, separate knee or elbow pieces will look ugly and ruin how Revoltechs are different from SHF or MAFEX
You're totally right, Spider-Man's hideous knees are much better.
>>
>>6286361
holy shit that crappy backpack
>>
>>6286393
It could be better, but what you want will look worse. Basically you have more separation lines visible all around. Ideally a single joint that's the perfect size to the knee sculpt will decrease that big gap area, but Revo joints are fixed in size so it is tricky.

Also I don't really understand how or why but the size of the revoltech seem to shrink as the production moves forward. Yamaguchi is sculpting using the same joints so I guess there is some margin of error he needs to incorporate making them.

I like this fuck the hood neck articulation. I:m sure everyone will hate it though.
>>
>>6286180
I also like that they're thinking outside the box a little bit with joints these days. Figures should be jointed using whatever works best instead of slavishly adhering to one joint type. Revoltech-jointed hips ranged from fucking terrible (the old style ones where you had to rotate the joint manually to get x and y movement) to okay (joint pegs pointing horizontally the ass, which gives simultaneous x and y movement but still frustratingly limited ratcheting). The true ball hips are a fucking godsend honestly.

Anyway, I don't have a problem with hinge knees so long as they give us a thigh swivel to go with it.
>>
>>6286606
Looks fine to me.
>>
I think I'm still skipping Wolverine, really can't stand that it's the astonishing costume. I don't mind so much with Venom but with Wolverine, the changes do bother me. Wonder if this affects the sales for them, even though it'd still sell because it's Wolverine.

>>
>>6286841
o shit really? well, I still want a Yamaguchi Wolverine revoltech in the classic costume
>>
This just made me curious... I've only just realized there hasn't been any recent action figure of Wolverine to feature his classic costumes other than the one Marvel Legends brown-and-tan costume by Hasbro. Every other recent action figure release from various other companies haven't been the classic costumes, even Mezco's release is just mimicking the classic colors with a lot of extra bits that make it substantially different.

I really wonder if it's a licensing issue. If this is the case, then is Hasbro getting special treatment? If so, then how is Hasbro getting special treatment? Legit curious question, I buy SHFs, MLs and Revos, and am actually happy to get more options, just wish this Wolverine revo right here was of the classic costume.
>>
>>6286973

Marvel seems to be specifically avoiding classic costumes as part of their "Fuck You" campaign to all of their fans for the past 5 years or so who have been buying their shit for the past 40+ years.
>>
>>6287172
>part of their "Fuck You" campaign to all of their fans
I want to say that's dumb and impossible, especially for such a cash-loving big company as they are... but knowing this is 2017, I guess that's actually plausible..?

I don't understand how it harms them to let people enjoy the classic costumes though since no one loves superhero comics for consistency. They can roll back to those old costumes and roll out new costumes in the next 2 weeks and all it'd do is generate new headlines/free marketing for them.
>>
>>6287231
>I want to say that's dumb and impossible, especially for such a cash-loving big company as they are... but knowing this is 2017, I guess that's actually plausible..?

If you've been paying any attention at all to Marvel as a comic book company in the past 5+ years, you'd know it is the frightening reality with their constant, retarded policies and attempts at pushing characters no one likes, wants, or cares about.
>>
>>6286861
This.
>>
>>6287231
I think in general the Yamaguchi line is just going for the quintessential comic look for the given character, rather than a specific movie or comic appearance. If we got Batman, for example, it would be blue/black cowl and trunks. Deadpool's more or less a 1:1 of his modern comic runs, and Gwenpool's not old enough to have costume variants.

That said, I don't think a repaint is impossible. If the sales are especially good, we might see a Symbiote Spiderman or tan/brown Wolverine. Or we could just learn how to paint the figures ourselves.

Now all that aside, I have no idea if Punisher will be the jumpsuit, trenchcoat, or tacticool iteration.

Marvel probably restricts it to be the modern version design, but Kaiyodo knows the classic look sells better so they make the final version closer to the classic look as much as possible. That might be a clue to who they will pick to be made, avoiding characters that looks drastically different now.

I think Marvel wants to boost sales of comics in Japan so they pick designs being used in recent comics that are being translated and released in Japan.

I just read the manga, pretty fun stuff, and learned a CGI anime is on the way. Tastunoko Heroes are hot now, so I really hope we see Revoltechs of these, old or new they are pretty cool looking either way. The Sentinel ones were of a weird scale so I think a proper 6 inch one will still do well. The companies are both under the Union Creative family so I think it's easy for Kaiyodo to make something with that IP.

They said they will do Marvel for a while, but did say they intend to do Japanese IPs, and Tatsunoko Heroes hits that perfect area of low supply, high demand, not well known property Kaiyodo likes to do.

revoltech Polymar, revoltech Casshern, revoltech Gatchaman...

You know, revoltech would kill it with Ishinomori manga style figures of Kamen Rider, Kamen rider Black... but it's got a very slim chance of ever happening thanks to Bandai. It's still possible though, but they've never expressed interest in touching Kamen Rider side of toku. Banpresto still does plenty of Kamen Rider stuff so it does mean the license is still available to companies other than Bandai.

Kaiyodo actually does tons of Kamen Riders, Metal heroes, etc.....but they are all soft vinyl model kits.

Guys may a nice soul help me? I recently bought a Jehuty Revoltech (i'm new to this whole thing)

I accidently dropped it while separating the nylones and now the right leg (left in the picture) doesn't fit back in.

I can push it half way but I can't push it all the way even when I use great force (stop of actually crushing the fig).

Am I doing something wrong or am I fucked?
>>
>>6289964
if it fit fine before, it should be able to pop back in. if you're scared of breaking it, heat the leg part that has the hole with a hair dryer for a minute, then slowly push the joint back, straight in. I've never had a revoltech break on me, so i think you're safe.
>>
>>6289972
I don't have a hair dryer handy,But is there anything else I can try? No matter how much force I apply it doesn't go back in.

It laso came with a lot of parts but there's no manual so I'm not sure what goes where.
>>
>>6289978
Use hot water. What the tap water reaches should be fine. I heard 50℃ before if your hot water really sucks and need to heat it. Just put the hole part of the leg in a few minutes and it should get soft enough to slide the joint back in.

Look up Revoltech Jehuty pictures, even reviews, to figure that out. I think it had weird parts like hands to recreate throwing objects at enemies.
>>
>>6289978
Pull out the other leg joint and pay special attention to exactly how it fits on there. Maybe it's on a weird angle? Try sticking a pon in the joint socket. Then when you're ready take it all apart and try just to connect that one part so you don't break anything else in the process. Maybe you have to use some force, maybe you don't. If the joint hole really is obstructed or crushed use heat like the other anon said.

Are you sure you were able to push it in all the way before?
>>
>>6290068
>>6290005

I'm kind of wary of using heat because I worry it's gonna melt the fig's coating and I don't wanna mess with it.

Yes, it fit in before, that's how it came in the first place. The other leg looks and moves fine

I'll try pushing something in but I think all I'll do is break the hole and make it loose

What are the chances of getting a Onslaught? I feel like Yamaguchi can do a great one.
>>
>>6290378
Revoltechs are quite resilient. I've used a hairdryer a bunch of times. It's not like you need to blast it past the melting point. I usually hold the piece in my free hand and pull away when it get's too hot for me, change hands once or twice and that's enough. You can probaby get away with 50 degrees Celsius but I don't know.

And I didn't mean you should poke around inside that hole to do more(?) damage. Just take a toothpic or something really small and compare the two holes using that; size, depth, angle, obstructions.
>>
>>6290788
I feel the need to point it out again: Take the whole figure apart. You can disassemble every point of articulation that uses a Revoltech joint. Get to know the ins and outs. See how the other leg's joint is connected.
>>
>>6290760
It won't be that big, like Venom level or slightly bigger. I think they will do Thanos instead if they want to do a big super villain. Even Apocalypse (all the revo joints arm swapping) since they got some film presence that people will be aware of.

The New getter Revoltechs are part of the early batch so they're pretty basic compared to the late ones, but they're pretty nice and basically the only affordable new getter figures.

Definitely go for the SRC Shin Getter, the revoltech isn't bad but the years hasn't been kind to it.

I bought an older Revoltech figure (from around 2010 or so) and the wrist joint is kind of broken. It consists out of two part that are attached on the pivot point in the middle. But they won't stay attached to eachother, it's like they don't fit properly. Any tips?
>>
>>6297015
What size is it? There are some non-propietary joints that you can buy in HLJ if you can't fix that, they're like this:

http://hlj.com/product/YLSPPC-TN27

They have them in almost all sizes revoltech uses, except the smallest ones that they started using around the end of the line for the wrists. Throw us a pic so we can check what solution we can find!
>>
>>6297024
It's the wrist joint on the left arm of the Vash the Stampede figure. I paid a rape price for it, so now I'm too poor to buy replacement joints. I do have a spare Figma wrist joint, but it's too big to fit the holes.
It's a really nice figure, but I was expecting it to be more like the current Revoltech lines: the joints in his coat don't click, so I have to be very patient when posing it.
>>
>>6297052
That sounds bad, tho I *think* there should be some joints you can buy that size later on. Sorry to hear it came bad, Revoltech joints are a bitch to fix if they get unjoined.
>>
>>6297081
I could superglue it or just leave it alone. The parts do stay in place as long as I don't touch them too much.
>>
>>6297015
Can you post a picture?
>>
Has anyone tried modding Lazengann to have proper wrist joints?
>>
>>6297128
Nope, I only have very bad phone camera's, that can't make such extreme closeups.

Anyway; I decided to leave it like this for now. If I attach the hand, the joint stays in place just fine. I do have to be carefull when switching hands.
Eventually I may order replacement joints, but I already spend a lot of money on toys lately.
>>
>>6297340

Revoltech joints are very sturdy. You may want to play around with heat; push the two halves together and blast them with your hairdryer. I doubt anything bad could happen. Maybe this will make the plastic expand/deform/reform just enough to hold the two halves together?

aaaand I got mine. Not gonna bother with pics (just search ヴェノム on twitter etc) but I could answer some questions you might have.

A few things that I noticed...The shoulder blade balljoints acts more like a diagonal swivel. Upper body is a bit wobbly at the waist since a single revo joint supports it. And the hip swivels were oriented very differently that I was expecting. The actual hip swivels are straight, swings back and forth, but the second set were not rotational at the tight, but more like another forward swivels on a slight angle. The vertical gaps you see at the thigh:s outer edge is where the peg is.
Ankles are minijoints that has a balljoint end.
>>
>>6303056
Those are just Yamaguchi pics reposted.
>>
>>6303079
How's the overall range and especially in the hips and knees? Can the knees bend all the way or just 90 degrees?

Thoughts so far? Are you disappointed?
>>
>>6303079
>Upper body is a bit wobbly at the waist since a single revo joint supports it.
I was just thinking about that today, and it's a little worrying. How annoying is it?
>>
>>6303096
Knees are pretty good, close to 135°.

Hip are fine too, very old school cut joints but much more refined, to me anyways. I'm use to the old non-revo Yamaguchi figures and the lower body feels like a better version of those.

....I kind of want an all cut joint figure again, maybe for the Capsule Q line, ''some assembly required'' format

Upper body is perfect, I do wish the shoulder blades moved like the Capsule skeletons, but this could be a decent alternative to the double 6mm joint shoulder.

I'm only disappointed with the wobbly waist. It's more of an issue of the revolver joint pegs than the strength of the joint though.
>>
>>6303114
Hold the chest while playing/posing instead of the hip and it:s not that bad. It might have been better to have abs hinge and two swivels top and bottom, as part of the sculpt, haha even less revo joints. I think Revo Al was like that?

so you're happy with your purchase? do you own Spider-Man too? If so, what are your thoughts about him compared to Spidey revo? I won't get mine until end of month... Also where in Japan are you and what do you do for your visa there?

I do games production work and am entertaining some potential job offers from there.
>>
>>6303444
I'm the wrong person to ask, I never stay longer than 90 days so it doesn't matter.

Venom is completely different animal than Spider-Man Revo. The only section that's the same is the waist setup.

I've been buying Revoltechs day one, some Yamaguchi figures even before then so Venom feels just like any other Revo, so not sure what I could say to folks who jumped on the boat recently.

I don*t think hip cut joints would be the issue for people The waist revo joint weight issue, and the neck/head articulation are more stressful.

It looks amazing and articulation does not feel linting, I'm more curious how others feel about the Revo.
>>
>>6303468
I've been buying revos since day one and I didn't even really have a problem then with Dante, who is mostly swivel cuts.

Please post pics of Venom

Alright, so I got my payment request, and paid it off, and it says payment was received, so I guess everything went through without the bank doing something stupid like flagging it as "suspicious" or some shit, but it didn't ship.

So...Guess Golden Week fucked me? Or do they not ship on Saturdays or something (and yeah, I know "timezones", but they had all of their Saturday from like 7AM onward their time to get that shit out)? It's kind of annoying they don't list basic shit like hours of operation and days they work on this site.

Guess I'm too used to US places where my shit tends to ship the same day I pay, I guess. Also totally not sure how their holidays fuck with their postal system.

This is why Revo reviews are never useful. Sooo many people just use generic terms and don't know how to describe anything different. Go look at the Spider-Man reviews, fucking no one was showing off the hip articulation properly

So what kind of joint are his weird...Back...Chunks? On. Like his moveable sides or whatever the fuck. Are they on revo joints too? If not, I kind of worry about the durability there.
>>
>>6304139

watch this review
>>6303630

it doesn't seem like the joints that connect his lats to the main torso are revoltech joints. They don't make the clicking sound when he moves them. That's a valid concern, but I've also never had a revoltech break on me, so I sure hope this won't be the first time. It'd be hard to believe that Yamaguchi wouldn't have considered the durability issues after making so many toys with these joints, and this isn't the first time he's made a bulky toy either.
>>
>>6304260
never mind, I'm wrong, this review you can clearly hear it click.
>>6304109

bad news for those who hate the revo joints (and if so, what are you doing in this thread anyways), but great news for those concerned about durability. I can't wait for mine honestly.
>>
>>6304109

Eh, as long as the joint holds poses like it's supposed to.

Though in the spanish review it didn't seem to wobble. Maybe it varies by figure.
>>
>>6304139
The shoulder blades, the part the arms are actually connected to, are on ball joints. But acts pretty much like a diagonal cut joint, the ball joint is located towards the bottom of the piece.
>>
>>6304139
And it is very solid so no worries there.

>>
Some of the jap posts are talking about limitations for the head?

Can the neck not swivel or something?
>>
>>6304672
It's not really designed to look to the sides. Body to neck is double 6mm, great at looking up and down, and twist to the sides a little bit. Neck to head is a single 6mm and only for adjusting the head and jaw positions.

I used the extra 6mm for the head, it made some gaps but made the head articulation better.

Also, I want to clarify about his hip jointing.

Here is a diagram of a top down view if you disconnect the waist revo joint. Bottom is the front.

The two color lines are the cuts for the swivels, and they go straight down pretty much. But the outer cuts spreads out forward. It's like the old revos but with an addition of the middle normal swivel , and no thigh swivel.

Hope this gives you some idea. I think it works much better than the old school cut swivel hips.

>>
>>6307571

Not sure I get the point of the straps along the yellow lines. Where do the legs swivel? Hips?
>>
>>6307571
It's the line of the cut plus the peg (short stub).

The swivel is at the outer side of the thigh. At the sides, not the bottom. You think there is a thigh rotation but there aren't any.
>>
>>6307610
Wow. Still hyped but that seems pretty shitty. Why is there no thigh swivel? Can you at least work around it?
Spidey's hip are annoying to deap with sometimes because you can't align the hips quite right all the time. Is that an issue with Venom?
>>
>>6307571
>>6307562

that does clarify, now I'm confused as to why they didn't just use a revoltech joint for the hip, this seems a lot more limiting than Raiden's revo hip joints, for comparison... and doesn't really provide more stability than a revo joint, I'd imagine. That being said, I still am waiting for mine to arrive. Depends on how much I like/dislike this figure, I might decide to cancel my Spider-Man.
>>
Does anyone know which of the Evangelion revoltechs, if any, are both relatively cheap and tough enough to have extra weight put on them across the entire body? Accessories are not a concern. Thanks in advance.
>>
>>6307751
It somehow works pretty well. Like the lag can be positioned along any spot a leg should go, and the knees stays facing the right way. Keep saying it but it is nothing like Spider-Man.
>>6307755
It looks better? Yamaguchi said because of the weight, and since the torso revo joint barely holds it maybe it wouldn't cut it. The revo peg can rotate pretty easily by weight.
>>
>>6307990
Thanks for the clarification. I'm very intrigued now and if it really works as well as you say it does, I wonder why Spidey didn't get the same treament...

Spider-Man was designed to get crazy poses, Venom is for normal range, not like getting his leg over his shoulder type of posing. They both work for exactly what they demand I suppose.

Venom is like doing what old cut joint hip Revos can do, but by different cuts.

Venom showed up in my POL out of nowhere. No ten day notice or anything! Never seen BBTS get an import in this quick other than TF MP.
>>
>>6308287

That does seem pretty odd, given it only hit Japanese stores not too long ago. Maybe they know they're not gonna get the weeabux these days unless they can get the import figures in ASAP?
>>
>>6308298
They must have worked out a deal with Kaiyodo or something. Maybe got them to ship theirs early so it arrive around the same time he hit shelves in Japan.
>>
>>6308318

That'd be nice if they did. It costs a good amount to get shit shipped from Japan if I want my stuff in a timely manner, so I usually end up going to US shops since I'm in the US and get my shit much quicker for near the same damn price.
>>
How do i deal with this sticky layer of what I think is plasticizer coming off on my Eva 02 figure? It's only the legs that are affected. It is very annoying because it doesn't come off easily and is very sticky and gross. I might just throw it away and buy another one.
>>
>>6308119
Hoping to get a bootleg to do an alternate green drool head.

Anyone who ordered from HLJ get their's in yet? Im curious on how big the shipping box is because the shipping cost is kinda shit. If the box can fit more items on it I'll add more things to my shipment to make it worthwhile, if the cost is weight alone I'm going SAL. To give an example its about 40 bux for me to ship with fedex compared to if I were to buy Ryu and Chun Li it's about 20 bux.
>>
>>6308607

Where the fuck do you live it'd cost that much? I ordered Venom, and SHF Ryu+Chun Li and had it all shipped by EMS for around $20-ish Freedomerica Eagledollars.
>>
>>6308654
Yeah its about 20 bucks to ship for mine as well.

I have other figures to package it though with Femto and Meta Knight so that shit pops it up to 4800 yen.
>>
>>6308654
Hey man for some unlucky spics like me it cost 40 American dollars of United freedom to bring 4 or 3 figures
>>
>>6308662

Femto's goddamn huge from the pics of his box, he's probably what's driving the price up. Venom's box is bigger than most revo boxes, but it doesn't look anywhere near as beefy as what Femto's coming in.
>>
>>6308733
Yeah it doesn't help that I ordered the egg edition last month too.

I also ordered SOC Megazord as well so I'm really fucked on shipping overall.
>>
>>6308755

Yeah, that is definitely what is making your cost balloon up then. That box is pretty damn big looking.
>>
>>6287631
I'd like to say that I'd assume it'll be an easy call like Captain America... but Gwenpool was out of left field, so I guess anyone is up in the air.
>>
>>6287631
A Johnny Blaze Ghost Rider would be cool, but I really want someone to make a figure of Robbie Reyes, and think Yamaguchi especially could knock it out of the park.
>>
>>6308846

Plz no. Just stick to the classics. We already have enough people whining that Wolverine isn't in his brown suit or isn't in his classic yellow and blue, we don't need to have the one chance at a top tier GR figure ruined by that design.
>>
>>6308853
>Just stick to the classics
Nah, that's dumb. Plus I genuinely think Robbie would just make a much better Revoltech, and he has no figures at all.
>>
>>6308872

Classics sell the best. Thats why they're the classics.
>>
>>6308875
Okay but that doesn't mean only the classics sell.

If this were just a line of nothing but classic characters in their first appearance that would be so boring.
>>
>>6308879

It would also probably sell even more than it is now. Not that I'm complaining about what we're getting, I want this whole damn line so far except Gwen, and thats only because I don't give a shit about her, not because she's a bad figure.

Considering some westaboo is why the line exists I expect to see alot of altGwens and other FotM charterers.
Which granted goes for every spider-woman outside of Jessica Drew.
But arguably every other revo so far is a classic character at least for the last almost 20 years of comics outside of Gwen.
Naturally Venom and Deadpool are newer on that side of things but still, Venom is a big name Spider-Man villain and despite Dan Slott and a few certain directors wanting otherwise, he always will be and it will always be Eddie Brock or fucking suck outside of a few moments or a sidekick.
And again, Deadpool in a newer sense due to a handful of good writers and stories before transiting off to Waypool appealing to the kind of shiteating plebs who actively use reddit, 9gag, neogaf, or any other cesspool of unfunny internet culture that has infested everything open to them, even here both in users and in mods. Oh shit forgot /b/.

But nips gonna nip, one lame AU Spider-Woman can't sour the pot of some of the most definitely articulated marvel figures there will ever be.
Honestly it's just sad more people can't get into the aesthetics of revoltechs, and those who can who can't into posing not being able to enjoy themselves/improve. Not in a "fuck those people" kind of way as much as "they will never have as much fun as getting a figure into 99% of the poses you can invasion".

Just saw a couple vid review of Venom. That knee articulation was so lit, they're flawless and not gapey at all because it's not a Revo ball joint.

How come Yamaguchi didn't do this type of articulation on Spiderman who arguably skinnier and hence gapier? Such lost opportunities
>>
>>6310420
I might be wrong, but I feel like venom can get away with it because his legs are so thick. On spidey's spindly legs the grooves required for that hinge would really stick out. Also, it limits his leg rotation, which is definitely not something I want on any spidey.
