Why? and how do you think that could change the past?
>>
>>6240930

Revoltech Raiden.

Just to make my younger self collect more Revoltech than Gunplas.
>>
Amazing Yamaguchi spiderman.

Spiderman is my favorite hero and it's the best iteration of the character.

If I can choose a modern toy that I own...

My Tempe. Attached with it is a note telling my younger self to say "fuck it" to going to college and to get a job so that I'll have funds to buy Shinkis in bulk so that I can have a decent collection and scalp the rest when Konami fucks over the line
>>
>>6240930
One of my painted Gunplas, with a note that says practice more faggot
>>
>>6240976
I loved Voltes V as a kid. I was also poor third world scum.

I would have been so happy to have a kick ass robot toy, let alone Voltes V
>>
And ruin my childhood? No.
>>
>>6240983
Same here, I got him because I used to own so many spiderman figures when I was a child.
>>
>>6240983
is he that good? I actually love revoltechs usually and Spider-Man and Venom are some of my very few fav childhood superhero designs. I have Venom on pre-order but am a bit iffy on pulling the trigger on Spider-Man because of his neck and knees... but am very, very tempted. I basically don't have any other superhero toys ever since the first wave of Marvel Legends.

Marvel Universe Galactus

I loved chunky figures when I was young and this guy is a mother fucker.
>>
>>6240930

Toa Tahu Mata and Nuva

I was a red ranger/leader guy/fire guy kid and loved some fuckin bionicles but I could never find either Tahu growing up, and my weird family didn't order online. I finally got them both when I was 16 and love them dearly but it wasn't the same despite the obvious sense of victory. I'd make my younger self immensely happy by sending back those guys.
>>
>>6241163
The only con I have for him is my dislike of his regular eyes, being too triangular.
>>
One of my Neca Godzillas. Only Godzilla toy I had for years was a cheap-ass 5poa vinyl goji from TRU's dollar-bin toys.

>>
I don't think I would. I would tell my younger self, however two things

1. Keep your Batman stuff, you'll regret getting rid of it.

2. NEVER GET INTO Transformers EVER! You're going to like it, lose interest, sell all the figures at a loss, and repeat this process TWO MORE TIMES.

Stay the fuck away from Transformers

Fuck this wave was good. I should have bought them all. Instead I hesitated and ended up buying none and now MH is horrible and cheap looking.
>>
Anything from shows I used to watch as a kid would blow my brains out. The current DBZ figuarts come to mind since the cheap knock off DBZ figures I had as a kid had next to zero articulation.

There's way too many options. Ultimately the whole gist behind what I collect is stuff I liked as a kid, or wanted to own but couldn't get. I'd be happy to see I finally got a MMPR Ultrazord set, or a set of regular TMNT figures that look like the show. Then there's things I'd love just because of what they look like and how impressive they are, like Sentinel Dancouga, or SoC Gaogaigar.

Ultimately, I think I'd just go with MP Cheetor. While I preferred Transmetals, this thing looking so close to the TV show would've blown my mind.

This motherfucker so I wouldn't have had to wait until age 29 to finally get a good recreation of my favorite villain first seen on a betamax recording of the movie

In my opinion yes. I pose mine every day.

Spiderman has so many iconic poses and the yamaguchi version can pull off a good 98% of them.

I admittedly don't own many toys but that one in particular really got me back into it. I'm even already committed to getting the rest of the line based on how much I enjoy him.

MU Jim Lee cyclops.

As a kid, I had issues with action figures. I didn't understand the playability when they were always 5poa pieces of shit or MOTU-style "I am using a public toilet and don't want to get dirty" lunge poses.

This guy is posable as fuck. I'd understand action figures can ACTUALLY be playable.
>>
I wanna say the SH Figuarts TMNT 'cause we never had anything that articulated or close to their official art styling, but I did have tons of cool TMNT toys.

What we didn't have, were good Nintendo figures. I think my younger self would vomit glitter at a Figma Link, like the ALBW one, 'cause it looks like ALTTP Link. Or just a WON Donkey Kong. By no means a "great" figure, but I know I would've played with it tons.
>>
>>6241362
i sold my beat up original series Optimus Prime to a friend for like 2bucks I'd give anything to tell my younger self, to a) be more careful with it b) don't sell it

I collect things I wanted as a kid too, but that means toys that could do the poses. I was born to be a /toy/soldier because I valued articulation over all else as a kid. Going through Armada was tough and disappointing, but thankfully the first Universe line kept me preoccupied.

That said, MP Supreme Primal would be my choice since I fucking loved the first Primal toy, didn't care for show accuracy, the MP has articulation out the ass, and it includes the accessories I enjoyed. That mask is just what the doctor ordered. Unless they repaint Supreme prime in Universe red and brown, I can't think of anything I'd love more.

I loved Pokemon being that lil shit I was and I've always wanted actual pokeballs since I was a kid. Back then I didn't even want the pokemon in them, I just wanted to be able to throw pokeballs around and pretend I had the potential to change my world if just left the door
>>
>>6247110
I always wanted one that started small and grew like it did in the anime. Or one that had a lightning bolt on it. Do you know if they make one like that?
>>6240930
I didn't even play with toys when I was a kid, sadly. I remember going to my Mom's friend's house when I was around 8 and discovered video games, so my imagination died right there.

I'm glad I found this thread because I keep thinking about this topic a lot.
