I'm slowpoking here a bit, but my stores recently got in the Sandman wave at last.
Found full stock at one store and decided to get black suit Spider-Man and Green Goblin.

Both are great. I expected Spidey to be but Gobby especially surprised me because I might actually like him more than ToyBiz's, which is one of my all-time favorites to begin with. The articulation on the new one is better, outside of the useless and honestly really ugly finger hinges.

Only if they're essentially the same as their normal dimension counterpart and it's treated as such. Like if there was an alternate universe where everything was mostly the same so their Gwenw as essentially just 616 Gwen, and she eventually got stuck in 616 and everyone just acted like she was the old Gwen Stacy and everything went along as usual, that'd be a revival.

The thing I hate about this is then in other adaptations everyone goes "Gwen is supposed to die" and I hate that. Any character can die and I think if they're known for dying it behooves a writer to NOT kill them off in a adaptation. What was shocking about Gwen dying is no one knew she was going to die. Fulfilling expectations and throwing away the character isn't shocking. Killing Mary Jane in the movies would have been shocking cause she's not "supposed" to die. Colossus is great. Easily one of my favorite Legends figures as of late. Had no idea he would impress me this much. I was surprised at the heft and size of the figure, not to mention that I liked his ankle articulation (was posing AoU Hulk the other day and his feet make things difficult.) The bearded headsculpt is a great addition as well. The outfit really threw me off when it was first shown but it's really grown on me.

The BAF has different colored arms and torso, they're green while the SDCC one is brown. You certainly can swap the arms out at the shoulders, but it looks terrible.

I've noticed that, lately anyway, like half a wave or so will have a good amount of fitting accessories or just general things that compliment the figure (Kitty, Cable, Angela, and Star-Lord, for example), but there's always one or two figures who are basically glorified repaints with nothing aside from the BaF part (Jean, Spider-Bitch). And the remaining figures either get really nice paint or extra hands.

I'm not sure if it's just a budget thing, or if it's intentional, as that BaF part on the lamer figure of the wave tends to be the torso or head.

I bought some bootlegs of the stands old the Epic Heroes wave and a few other waves came with. They're alright. Marvel Legends feet don't have uniform peghole sizes, though, so they're only useful for certain figures. So I'd go with Tamashii stages.

I like classic Venom but he's on the somewhat controversial Hyperion mold. He has a chest shelf when standing straight and his arms seem a little stubby but the articulation is pretty great.

Also the alternate tongue head is perfect. The McFarlane head is alright too I guess.
Anti-Venom is basically the same thing but in white and with a spike backpack.
Of the two I prefer regular Venom, though.

I microwave a bowl of water, until it's just about too hot too touch. Then I dunk the problem part in that for a few seconds.

I have another bowl on the side with cool water in it. I don't go too cold, I worry about temperature changes affecting paint apps. Drop the part (or whole fig, whatever) in there.

Helps if you can have something to hold the part in position. For Logan's claws I used beads as spacers. For Wolverine's head points I just had to hold in place in the cold water. Bent weapons can be flattened by whatever is big enough and heavy, like a can of beans.

This makes the most sense. The target server and the brickseek server both have to update. If the case is received and items sold before making it to the shelf, they would go from stockroom to sold and never even be listed as a shelf item.

Why do the promo shots on OML's packaging have different hands? Figure just has em coming out from between the knuckles but not the little nubs. Not sure what else to call em.. Did i get a fucked up one or just like that for all of them

What are some of the best Iron Man figures that scale well/would look decent with One:12 Collective? (if you don't own any they're about the same scale as MLs or like very slightly bigger)

Right now I have Armorize Iron Man who is pretty tall but given that he has armor on actually looks really great with them but I kind of hate a lot of things about that figure due to the removable armor, it's disappointing especially for the price.

But there's like 8 trillion Iron Man figures and I don't know where to start because I don't really know how tall most of them are, and I suspect that Figuarts might be too short, etc. and I also like don't really know which ones have been standouts quality-wise

You could try the marvel select Iron Man from the civil war movie. He's well articulated and undersized for a select, but fits in with ML

Thank you, it just looks like shit IMO though. I like Marvel Select, don't get me wrong. I love that Disney Store exclusive Thor, I love Carnage even though he kind of scales with nothing, I really fucking love their Juggernaut, I love the Avengers Hulk.

But I have never seen an ML or MS figure of a movie Iron Man suit that I thought looked good. I think to come out well the designs just need to like consist of a larger number of pieces and have a larger number of paint apps than are possible at the like $20 price point idk.

My frustration with this and I guess the reason I'm asking is that off the top of my head as someone who has only sort of been paying attention is that my options for a nice-looking Iron Man that would scale well are:

MAFEX, which in my experience are generally flimsy crap

RE:edit, which cost like 200 fucking dollars

The Armorize one I already have

But like I said there's a million Iron Man figures and I don't actually know exactly how big most of them are, I just know that last time I checked the Figuarts at least were all way too short
