-no swivel. instead they include pegs at varying angles (0, 15, 30, 45, etc), and the need to pair the appropriate angle with the correct hand can be an annoyance, exacerbated by the previous point that the pegs are incredibly difficult to remove and swap out

the launcher itself is pretty good, the hands less so.

Little Armory guns and gloves seem to pair best with more recent offerings with modern wrist joints and 2.0 pop out shoulders to get more decent aiming poses. My hugest gripe with the gloves are how soft they are, they bend a little too easily and some grip certain guns rather weakly unless I angle it right.

It's very much on what you said which is the fingers aren't able to get a reliable holding grip on them since I largely use the trigger finger hands. Pistols hold decently though, though someone did mention the flesh colored hands are made out of a harder plastic to fix this issue but I haven't placed them into an order yet to test.

having nearly all the guns, I can safely say they are getting better and better with each release. I just got the M4A1/M203 and MP5SD on Wednesday and the contrast is striking. the MP5SD holds together with no glue, the option parts are easily swapped, and it just feels better all around. hell, even the M203 parts of the other kit have better tolerances and fit than the M4 parts (which I have built three times now).

it's pretty old, the Haruhi figmas have not aged too well. the Love Live ones are newer with better engineering and can get pretty cheap (I got a second Honoka for like $25 on Amazon, prime even). though if you want a sailor uniform it might be better to find someone else.

Figma neck pegs have remained consistent. However, the depth placement inside the head hasn't. Some figma have longer necks and deeper pegs so if you swap to those you might get giraffe necks, and vice versa.

For cheap schoolgirl bodies, Love Live, Love plus and K-On are decent, and pretty cheap nowadays 2nd hand. I personally really like Rin Shibuya from Cinderella Girls (the normal release) because the look and colors are very cool. No idea what her price is now tho.

Tired of bullshot prototypes. Tired of exclusive faceplate jewery. Tired of barebones 6k+ releases.

I used to love this line but nowadays I find myself getting much more enjoyment out of Figuarts and Mafex. I still have my old favorites like Ninja Slayer, Motoko, Samus, Guts and Pyramid Head.

In fact, Pyramid Head was the most recent figure I bought, after Zero Suit Samus (another big disappointment), but I haven't bought a new figma in months. The God Hand will have to be pretty damn special to make me want to fork out for them.

I personally loved ZSS; I see her flaws (mainly the neck and not the best articulation, just good) but on the other hand she's just like the promo pics (mine, at least); all her joints feel really tight and she looks amazing next to the previous metroid figma. She is expensive, I'll give you that but IMO she's not a good example of figma getting worse. Isn't the nose issue more to do with the fact that Figma modeled their Gil after his more recent depiction in the UBW anime in which Ufotable gave the characters more ridiculous-looking noses to mimic Takeuchi's updated art style? This wasn't the case with Fate/Zero, and even less for Kara no Kyoukai, since Ufotable was using their own style at the time (which I always considered to be superior).

It's the same way with the Chogoking Gilgamesh and Saber. Unlike their Figma counterparts, they're based on their appearances in the Fate/Zero anime, which could be the reason for the more favorable face style for Gil.
