Is that the travel-edition one? We had the travel-edition (meaning you could play it in the car in road trips, etc) that worked by pressing down the teeth hoping not to trip the jaws. Loved that toy.

playmobil has variety of crocs/gators. The smaller ones in the picture, think meant to be caimans and the like, not sure on their articulation, think it is none. The medium sized ones, only their jaws and head move. The really big ones however, they are a huge size so they do not look as out of place with other figure scales, their limbs and tail can move, but the best feature is something I am not entirely sure if it was intended or not. Due to the way their mouths work when closed, there is an opening into their hollow body. So you could put something small like a playmobil fish into the mouth, close the mouth and tilt it back to swallow the food.

I was trying to find pictures of the crocodile from the Hook movie, and stumbled across this, which is kinda cool.

And how could we forget ole' Leatherhead. His 2013 one is pretty cool, but there's also an 80s version dressed like Crocodile Dundee with snapping jaw articulation. Also, I just got the joke.

My God, Leatherhead is my favorite character in the new series but, I could never pull the trigger on buying his toy. It could have been so much better.

Give him the same articulation as the Turtles, put his head on a ball joint, maybe an opening Jaw, and movable tail I would have thrown my money at that thing.

As figures go, he's not the worst. I got him just because I liked the design, so I was able to over look the articulation flaws. My biggest gripe was his size. They could have created a "deluxe" classification for larger figures. Larger price point for a larger figure in scale with the Turtles, similar to the mini vehicle price point maybe?

On a semi related note, I saw a custom painted version that looked pretty sick. They did some washes on the scales and painted his underside that dirty off-white color. It was quite impressive.
