Hey toy. So I work with kids, and they like Beyblade. Kids.
We got them some arenas to stop tearing up the tables and floors, but they're getting chewed up to. Is there a way to extend the lifespan of these things or should I just expect to go through four a semester?

Use a plate.

... Those bids seem high
Maybe you could get some kind of large metal pan from a livestock feed store.
>>6175560
That or worn-out frying woks or something like that.

What an asshole. They are kids,, for fuck sake, why would you relish posting pictures of them crying on the internet and then rub their noses in it with a shitty description like that?
Tell them not to use their toys in the tub and if they do, then take the shit away. But no, public humiliation could never backfire and turn those kids into shitheads too.
>>6175576
You would be a shitty parent.
>>6175602
The shit that guy is doing is what makes kids into 4chan users.
>>6175602
please, Oh wise /toy/poster, explain to me the nuances of parenting.
>>6175576
What did your parents do to you?
>>6175544
I shit you not: at the hightime of the Beyblade craze in elementary they were considering two concrete arena's hidden against the building on the playground
Mite b cool if you'd go with a plan like that
>>6175583
Well, if you could find a way to pad the outer walls of the surface so it doesn't vibrate as much you'll get less resonance from the metal pan/wok.

This ebay public humiliation did nothing to aid in the teaching of a lesson that couldn't have been done by just sitting them down and explaining what they did wrong.
It's been almost 6 years and photos of the incident are still popping up. This picture could haunt them for the rest of their lives, because their parents thought it would be a clever and innovative way to teach them a lesson.
Take away the toys that caused the damage, sure. You're teaching them that if they don't use their toy responsibly, then they will lose the use of said toy.
Take the money in their piggy banks, alright, that's reasonable. It teaches them to take financial responsibility for the damages their actions cause.
But what does humiliating them publicly to possibly thousands of random people on the internet? It serves no positive purpose, and is just bullying.

The bids were inflated by 4chan users. There was another screencap with ebay messages between the winning bidder and the parent of the children with an "over 9000" reference thrown in the mix.

A true classic.

I forgot about the construction demolitions message. It was ridiculous, but for some reason I didn't laugh out loud until I got to the "Yours in Christ" part of the message.
>>6175583
Nope, not him but the metal fucks up the tips of the beyblades pretty badly.
>>6175800
If the kids were clever, they'd use this to their advantage.
>>6175544
Can you just buff it out with acrylic polish or something?
>>6176462
Lube it up with cooking oil
