So I bought the TMNT12 figures the other day and discovered a few of their feet were different from the others. Only now did I look online and find out that some of them are replicated from the show (no exposed toes) and the alternate versions have their toes out. But here's the confusing part - the alt paintjob ones and the regular ones can have either set of feet! Why the fuck would Playmates do this?
So what foot sculpt do you prefer, the ones from the show or the ones sticking out?

I like the 1st release figures with the big toes. I feel like the show accurate ones are over simplified compared to the rest of the sculpt.
I still don't know why they have 3 toes when 2 has been the standard since the brand began.

They revised the basic mold a few times.
As far as I'm aware it's:
- original version where it's not show accurate
- "classic style" where they initials and elbow and kneepads match the mask
- "classic style" minus the initials
- "classic style" with show accurate feet
Personally I like the original basics, but I can imagine it frustrates the fuck out of anyone who had to slow buy the turtles for whatever reason. That or collectors who need every variant.
Also they make their figures at different factories, so there is some mold variations as I had tried to swap out parts in the past when one figure had defective parts.

more "anatomically accurate" or something, the two toes was better because it was like having ninja shoes on, but not.
What's next for TMNT 2013 anyway? are we still missing characters aside from muckman?
