Meteor's a little weird here. His headpiece is a much lighter teal shade of blue, to the point that I thought maybe it was meant to glow in the dark or something.

They're both pretty much just repaints of the same body, so yes.

Unless you mean Ichigo's new powered up form, which is ok but much skinnier than the actual beefed up style the real suit had.

However, Ichigo is getting a SS soon, so if you want their modern suits then it'd be best to wait for that and the eventual Nigo repaint.

Same here. The case was already filled when I got it. So I currently have Proto Robots and Rider 1 gashat on either side. I've got Dangerous Zombie in the bugle driver and MBXX in the Gamer driver, but with the Dual gear, Drive and Gaim gashats arriving tomorrow, I have no clue where to put them.

It's just going to get worse from here too, as there will be a bunch of double gashats with nowhere to go, plus all of the Kuuga - OOO gashats next month and the Ex-Aid, Brave and Snipe SHFs.

It's the first Sentai that is a cooperative project between BoJ, BoA, and Toei. They're confident because they engineered this season to appeal to both sides of the ocean which also ended up innovating the approach to making a Super Sentai show. If all goes well, they should be maximizing profits in both Asia and the West when it comes over as Power Rangers.

Go-Buster was trying to change without any consultation, though. Bandai and Toei just wanted to do something new. With this, they are changing things up based on what the West likes. So they are changing with profits in mind.

With that last revelation from BoA, Toei and BoJ made the decision to go their hardest on multiple Rangers. That alone is pretty big game changer in terms of writing. The financial and critical success of in Space along with space being a popular theme in Japan probably also lead to the Space theme.

With that change the West gets a lot of action figures without making up dumb shit like Zord exclusive ranger forms, everybody gets collectibles, everybody gets mechs, the East gets more interactive options with their roleplay toys. It's like BoJ and BoA are having that Carranger/In Space moment where they are trying their hardest to get the franchise back on its feet at the same time. It's well thought out change. Hopefully the writing of both shows promoting these toys holds up well enough to hype them up.

The combined forms have all been pretty decent since gokaiger. Only few exceptions I can think of were a ToQgers bunk final form and Ninninger completely switching to a new uglier robot.

I can't see the cluster fuck getting any better for kyuranger considering the combined form only uses 8 of the 11 mechs. I can't see them making 11 + next auxiliary mech decent, judging by this first super form.

It seems to have 2 modes. You can put it on top of the gamer driver, where the top flips down to cover the screen and it likely hooks up with maximum gashat.
Or you can put it in the secondary gashat slot, I think with that clear side down, and it covers the top half like the background gashats do in level 3/4/5.

I think any gashat should do since they just need to give a rider form. I think that blue one specifically matches Xevious' color the best, I can't make out the shape. Maybe Brave will get to use it in the show since he's the main blue rider.

To get full use out of it, just get the gamer driver, the hyper muteki toy, any regular gashats you like for slot 1, and the maximum gashat for the side by side mode similar to kachidoki/kiwami

After ordering from HLJ for a while, you truly come to understand their use of "discontinued".
I'll explain, for those of you that don't get it:
HLJ has open orders available on back-ordered and out of stock items. Generally speaking, they do this because it's likely the products will be available again in quantity: they are still in stock from distributors, there is a reissue soon, or there is a yearly/quarterly production run of the product, for example.
Now, a lot of popular items are produced in limited quantities. They don't know how many restocks they will get, or how much quantity they will get when they do receive it.
History has shown us, that collectors flip the fuck out if a retailer cancels an order on them. So much so, that they take to the streets with pitchforks and torches.
Instead of taking orders only to cancel them later in case of shortages (because they keep taking orders for BO & OOS) HLJ will show an item as "discontinued". This prevents orders from piling up on an item they can't guarantee a restock of. It by no means indicates an official production status from the manufacturer.
Just keep looking back at the site if you need to order an item from HLJ that falls into this category.
