Not him, but I imagine with how popular a piece it might be it would likely be worth it to just buy the boxed figure. If the figure is $100, and the hat is $30-40 (because accessories are always priced that if you bought everything separate it would be more expensive than buying a boxed figure because it increases profit margin, but also because this is likely to be a unique item that will be at least moderately popular) you could just buy the boxed figure and sell everything you don't want.
