Seems that way. Pretty lame considering how important they are to the plot. Lucy is basically the third protagonist, and could have had some cool accessories (tear blades, corpse parts, a certain someone's head). Well might as well do that now. The only other idea I imagined just now is Medicos follows GSC and do the "Figfix" route and offer up figures that wouldn't get an SAS as in-scale statues for other figures seeing how Statue Legends have their own thing going and are probably locked down to certain characters Medicos wouldn't do like Vanilla Ice and Cream(which in my opinion is their best work).

Or they do this new and honestly more pain in the ass route and follow through on WF/Lottery being an windowed release for characters and stand releases. Baoh is already the first figure not meeting mass release and is exclusive.

Solid generally but some characters have known QC issues. Now Nobunaga is a a different case seeing articulation and range of movement isn't going to be great given how his outfit is and Medicos has never really made strides to updating their articulation scheme with things like pullout arms and pulldown legs to compensate certain limitations.

They can nail sculpt and paint for the most part but some recent stuff haven't been so hot like Tokyo Ghoul but hopefully Drifters can be treated more carefully like Parasyte and Aijin.

Got my case to a place I'm pretty happy with after two months of collecting the line. I plan on copping a happy and soft and wet to round me off until gyro and Johnny get released.

How's my posing, and does anyone have any tips for displaying this many figures on one shelf? I don't have a lot of room to work with, and the risers I got don't really add a whole lot of flexibility.

Actually from what I've read/seen, many nip fans stopped caring too much about JoJo once Part 6 ended because it was the end of that whole Joestar bloodline story. Then Part 7 is revealed to be JoJo and fans either didn't care too much about JoJo anymore or they thought it was good but something separate than what they thought of as "JoJo"

Which sucks as part 7 has some great designs and characters, no Tusk Act 4 is unforgivable by itself. I'm sure we will have a painted Gyro at the very least, who knows for the rest.

At best they will discount you something like 500yen for shipping. Really you should try to soften the plastic up in hot water and then use the xacto knife and work along the sides and see if it wedges the hinge loose to move again. Just work it in but don't apply too much pressure.

I think he is a decent figure, more accurate to Manga design than the anime version. Part 5 Silver C has better articulation but 3 of its limbs have been amputated halfway, and part 3 Silver has that sweet gold silver color-scheme, just get whatever you think looks coolest i guess, just try to get both from the same part, mismatching them does not work stylistically.

SAS are pretty outdated in terms of articulation yeah. My Soft and Wet has awful arm mobility thanks to his shoulders as well. Which sucks cause they look great, but my figuarts blow them out of the water in terms of posing.

Honestly I'm fine with articulation on most of the figures, but when basic shit like shoulder movement can't even stretch to 90 degrees it pisses me off. Which is sort of why I don't like Crazy D as much as I would have. But I really do love his shouting face, and that sound plate is beautifully done.

King Crimson on the other hand has really good articulation, a fantastic sculpt, and that blood red paintjob is just flawless. My only main issue is Epitaph has a lazy eye and even then I believe Epitaph did have a lazy eye in the manga.

In my opinion there is no reason to get part 3 polnareff, he looks fucking weird and it's way smaller. My part 5 polnareff arrived a couple of days ago and it's very nice, apart from a couple of QC issues. Just be careful with his pink lace since it's not sculpted on the shirt but soft plastic glued inside a small canal, so it may get a bit un-glued but it's nothing you can't fix in less than a minute. Also the box is 6 times a regular box, for some fucking reason

Mine are relatively OK, though I think your mileage just may vary figure to figure. Many people say that Jolyne has a problem with rocket elbows yet my Jolyne is just fine while Weather Report and Star Platinum (Part 4) have more rocket elbow tendencies. Sorry to hear that, though!

SAS handles colors a little differently from my years of collecting. Medicos always chooses really basic colors for their "1st" SAS edition of a figure. Anything afterwards are usually more interesting colorways and are labeled things like "2nd" and "3rd" or "WF" though exceptions exist like "Blue ver" and "Limited Edition" barring those super expensive Swarovarski and Clear variants.

I'm guessing by normal you mean "WF" Joseph who is typically more rare and higher in demand. Nowadays you may pay and upwards to 15k easily. If I were you avoid Amazon since your going to get price gouged easily by sellers unless you mean Amazon Japan

Yup, that's a pretty solid price. Part III Dio is one of the earliest figures in the line, so he's a little outdated in terms of articulation, but you should be able to get a clue for what the line's about.

My black part 3 DIO has the loosest joints I own on a figure. The knees are the main problem, they can't even hold the weight of the figure. Any suggestions on a fix?

Also, is it a good idea to grab the part 3 figures while I can? I'm relatively new to the line but want to make sure I grab what i can before i hit the after market prices.

Not really. I'll even advise to wait since the rush could be temporary seeing how unpopular SP3rd and The World 1st are generally. It's obvious more people caught wind of the line due to the anime and catching up to Part 3 to have stores make the new prices and considering how little in the way of quality statues there are.

Also you rolled a bad Black Dio since there was a bad batch of him in circulation. Best you can do is used the future floor shine method and see if that tightens the joints a little.

Not sure. Never was assed to pick him up even though I'm lacking regular Dio but I haven't heard any complaints from those anon's who do have him. I guess the WF status may have slightly better QC than what Black Dio was given.

Isn't that how Medicos and DiMoltoBene operate? DiMoltobene also do some of the characters Medicos covers but I feel they specialize in minor villains and other side characters. Going by a wiki they are also a subsidiary of Medicos Entertainment so it makes sense they work in a sort of tandem. If they can't do an SAS then a statue legend may occur to get that character out there.

It's the back of his head, it's looks like that when light shines directly on it. I never took mine out of the bag so here's a reference shot with the flash on. If you turn the photo on the auction page 90° counterclockwise you can see it clearly.

I had the red one and it was a solid figure. The red color on his clothes really pops due to fluorescent paint and despite what people say it pairs fairly well with all versions of The World.

My only warning is about the size of the box since it's fairly large compared to most standard releases and likely to bite you in the ass. Maybe not as bad as P5 Polnareff or Awakened DIO 2nd, but still.

I wouldn't really say that. Part 3 figures are pretty shit in general.My Jotaro looks like he has throat cancer because of how big the joint is. Just compare the 2 polnareff figures, one from part 3 and the other from 5 and you'll see what I mean.

His accessories are the same, but you just don't see people posing him with the knives and such because the red scheme is synonymous with his caped appearance; as evidenced by the default di molto statue and the variant red RAH that has an exclusive cape.

White Snake has a bumped up price because one, Medicos has just been bumping up the price for new releases in general, and two, he's bigger than most other SASes and his sculpt/paint is very detailed. Not too many accessories which is a bit disappointing, but White Snake is still one of my favorite figures that I own
