It's an obscure question, but you're in the right place as far as I'm concerned.

Beats me where you'd get one, but what I'll say is that it is a shame we don't get more threads like this, with people looking for pinball machines and cranes and such.

I think some stand-alone arcade parlors have a warehouse where they repair and sell arcade machines. you can ask them for or they can lead you to one. i know a place near my school

I usually see these in grocery stores and Walmart lobbies, places like that. What that means, is some vending company pays them to allow the crane games to be set up there.
I would recommend contacting one of the grocery stores that has one, to get a lead on said vending company.
If the vending company won't sell you one in your price range, maybe they can tell you who the manufacturer is, so you can look into getting one direct.

Look in the phone book for a vending machine supply or rental store.

go to your local arcade and ask if they want to get rid of one. They'll either sell you one or tell you where to go.
