Speaking of Barricade. I had been considering getting HA Tailpipe to turn into a custom one. He could be police motorcycle. He's got a lot of Barricade-esque things going for him:
-wheels on the shoulders
-those wheels also have extending blades
-mostly black and silver
-minicon partner that could be frenzy

All he'd need is a new head, some white paint and some police decals. I think it could work pretty well.

They're reissuing the first market Six legion wave and I already have wave 3 so I want to track down wave 2 and already have Universe 2.0 Legion megatron.

This is $300 more than the MPP10 KO Prime and does less while also looking like it's caked in mud. Those cheap ass Soap Studios figurines should be $15 not $150, fuck their designer studio status those are simple figurines, fuck them if they think their shit is valuable.

Make this thing $30 and remove the shitty weathering and I might like it.

They're re-issuing Wave 1 so it stands to reason that Wave 2 is coming out as well.

Wave 3 is the most desired though since it features White Cab Ultra Magnus, Cliffjumper, and Skywarp. Waves 1 and 2 have nothing really that unique.

So the Legends waves released since Thrilling 30 have totaled to about 30 figures. Still no Seaspray, Beachcomber, or Outback.

and now we're waiting for the Frenzy and Eject figures to show up and for all we know they could take up a whole wave by themselves and TR is almost over. Also the Throttlebots are coming and that's another thing to bog down the size class with incomplete releases.

I personally do not see why reviewers need to spend 20 minutes on a single toy. 3 minutes for an action figure, 5-6 for a more complex thing is sufficient. Don't describe the colors, I am looking at it! Don't read box text, the bio is irrelevant. If you only review one line, showing off the articulation is pointless because every figure in the line is the same. Only focus on articulation is it has something non-standard for the line.

For Transformers, that isn't true. Articulation varies wildly between every figure.

Especially once you veer into the 3P stuff, which a lot of reviews are for because that stuff ranges into the $100+ territory and some can be real shit and people really need reviews on it so they don't get a lemon.

Finally got around to "fixing" MPbee's autobot logo. Bits of the tampo flaked off like the only thing holding the ink on was good intentions, so I just wiped the rest of the red ink off and did it over with a paint pen

Kind of messy at the edges and I ran out of patience trying to get all the paint at an even thickness, but it looks way better than before.

Now if only I could get some paint that matches the yellow of his body I would be able to do something bout a paint blemish on his vehicle mode.

Just about the only reviewer I enjoy on a technical level is optibotimus.

He's the only one I can think of with consistently good lighting, focus and doesn't constantly do shit out of frame. Also no pretentious camera work.

The rest of him gives me cancer though. When I watch a review from him I mute the video, skip to some robot mode poses, maybe watch the transformation if I'm curious and skip to some vehicle mode poses.

I'm already sick of seeing a bayformers plague the threads now and the movie isn't even out yet. We all know the line will be shit just like AoE was, so why even bother talking about it. There's no hype to be had in this shit. Not only that though but just imagine how much of their budget goes towards these shitty movie lines when they could go towards the generations line. And don't tell me that the movie figures sell well, because they fucking don't. They just warm the pegs until the movie comes out on bluray and then they're shipped to Ross and TJ Maxx where they rot on the shelves there for another 6 months. I won't lie, up until DoTM the movie lines were really damn decent figures, but now they're a fucking joke. RiD is absolute shit, but at least it generates some sort of profit for Hasbro. The movie lines are just fucking cancer now. If you like them, you're part of the fucking problem.

There's only one thing I look for in a toy review: complaints.

I don't need some random stranger online to convince me to like a toy. I can do that on my own by looking at pictures. What I care more is reasons to NOT buy a toy. There's nothing worse than buying something because people say it's 10/10 only to bring it home and realize it's shit.

With that said, I've heard optibotimus complain about toys way more than other reviewers, so I follow him the most. I also keep an eye on Chefatron's channel simply because he gets shit out faster than anyone else due to being an SEA. I don't watch either of these guys because of their personalities or whatever, their reviews just give me what I look for.

Primal himself is actually more compelling to me compared to Prime because he's like if Hot Rod didn't doubt himself constantly. He's a loose cannon kind of guy whose goals for victory are the basic skeleton of his mission, and everything else just comes naturally.

I wish they'd make these toys more disassembly friendly. I was planning on taking apart my UW Lightspeed today to see if I could do something about the floppy combiner port but for seemingly no reason other than to make it impossible to disassemble, both halfs of his torso are held together by the pin that holds the hood of his car mode.

I removed my first pin just the other day working on Galvatron.

I'd also suggest a decent dremel. I can never find nails the same diameter as the stock pins so I usually have to use one just a smidge bigger and dremel can widen the hole real quick.
