City's price per piece is worse than star wars.

How did this happen?

Because you forgot price is by weight, not a flat ten cents per piece regardless of whether it's a 1x1 stud or a boat hull.

Think I saw Jang in Trader Joe's yesterday. He was buying a lot of those Chicken Tikka Masala pre-made meals that are pretty good.

I may tweet at him to confirm.
>>
>>6117895

I saw Jang at a grocery store in Los Angeles yesterday. I told him how cool it was to meet him in person, but I didn’t want to be a douche and bother him and ask him for photos or anything.

He said, “Oh, like you’re doing now?”

I was taken aback, and all I could say was “Huh?” but he kept cutting me off and going “huh? huh? huh?” and closing his hand shut in front of my face. I walked away and continued with my shopping, and I heard him chuckle as I walked off. When I came to pay for my stuff up front I saw him trying to walk out the doors with like fifteen Milky Ways in his hands without paying.

The girl at the counter was very nice about it and professional, and was like “Sir, you need to pay for those first.” At first he kept pretending to be tired and not hear her, but eventually turned back around and brought them to the counter.

When she took one of the bars and started scanning it multiple times, he stopped her and told her to scan them each individually “to prevent any electrical infetterence,” and then turned around and winked at me. I don’t even think that’s a word. After she scanned each bar and put them in a bag and started to say the price, he kept interrupting her by yawning really loudly.

The first one I got was the Prison Joker, which I like well enough.

This was a very good day for me. Especially as a memorial for poor old Tillicum.

Good or bad would be entirely subjective here, anon.

What will you do with the minifigs? If you're getting them for their potential in other themes, most of the Batsuits would be "bad". If you were building up Bruce Wayne's armory, those alt costumes would be "good". If you only want the main outfits of the Movie's primary characters, all you will need from the wave will be the obscure villains.

Even Arkham Joker isn't entirely bad; while another Joker in orange comes with the Asylum, this one has a different set of headprints, and is a cheap way to get more orange asylum outfits.

I didn't have time to do any feeling. Was on my way to work, grabbed three bags because chances were good that my first three wouldn't have any repeats.

I actually felt Orca while I was in line. Thought about shoplifting it, felt like being a decent human being so I didn't. I've felt out bags incorrectly before, so I didn't assume it was Orca until I opened it.

That was good times. Like life was patting me on the head for not stealing.

Obviously I don't buy CMFs often, if I had to make the choice about whether to shoplift them or not. Thinking back, I feel kinda bad that the question even came up.

In 2014 they introduced dual-molding for minifigs, which is a process where they make pieces out of two separate plastic colors. That's how they make the snazzy new sleeved arms and legs like pic related. Notice how the print on Batman's legs stops at the sides, but the back still has two different colors.

based on the play features, and/or type of set it is

a car obviously has playability, but a car that cant keep rolling after being pushed (penguins bitchin new pimpmobile) would get a knock

launchers, nearly any moving part, action features, transformations

shit like that all would count realistically. they're all "cool" things that keep a kid playing with it longer.

imo as an adult, you can rate playability, but you should be raiting it with a new scale of "is this feature obtrusive, and does its addition detract from the set"

the new batcave would be an example of bad additions, because nothing is hidden, and nearly all the features are both pointless, and detract from the look, because they're not hidden at all

the NRG dragons wings would be a positive one, while the wings are obviously MADE in such a way that they can fold, and it can rest they could have been designed literally the same way, but without movement, and it would still have looked good

the penguin's car would be neutral. while launchers arent anything new, his are integrated and hidden as headlights, and his trunk opening actually has purpose
tl:dr adults can rate play features, as long as they're less retarded than my wall of text. this is why i do not review

The book does say that the empire has a model that hovers but the one in the movie technically has tracks. There's one close-up of the front right before a grenade goes off I think where you can see something rolling underneath it, I thought it was just part of the prop but I guess it's canon. I've slowly been trying to make my tank more accurate but screw tracks that's not happening lol

not overblown
its not like the parts are siezing or anything, it rolls when you push it
but the second you let go it stops on point, and honestly it does feel like you need to push way harder than you should need
just a longer single technic piece should theoretically be a fine fix, rather than 2 and their shitty friction

they do bind.
this is the front axle, you just need to use 2 technic axles without the flat-head. Idk why lego made it that way.
>>
>>6119176
Ahh, I see. Yeah, seems like just using different axles (or axle) would solve the problem. I thought it was more serious, like the wheels rubbing on the fender or something.

just poor design choice
the gear that triggers the launchers does slightly bend the hot air ballon fenders when fully raised though

Ive bought from that guy a few times.

I smoke. Like a fucking chimney. Go ahead, throw all the insults, numbers and statistics and bullshit at me, get it over with. Heard it all before and dont care.

The parts I have gotten from that guy BARELY had the smell of smoke on them, like a light dusting of it if even that. These are the fucking posts of pussies who have never even been around a cig enough to know what it even truly does. These are the moms who see you pull out a cigarette outside and storm over to you and start coughing at you to "make a point and save lives".

The guys store is fine, his parts are fine. If they come smelling like smoke, spray some febreeze around them, set them outside for a bit them clean them. "OH NOES, I HAVE TO DO EXTRA WORK?"

Dont buy used then.

>>
>>6119366
Spoken like someone who knows shit all about smoking.

I usually open my BL packages outside, especially if its just a tiny envelope of parts. If you are outside, even if you smoke a LOT, you will notice the smell immediately, especially coming from a sealed small space.

And the way those fucking morons were describing it, the damn packages would have been stopped at the post office and quarantined because there was so much smoke ash and cinders coming off of them.

Is there a cowl? Then it's one of the Batmen or Catman. Confirm with accessories.
Armor? Calculator or Red Hood. Confirm with gun or visor and 1x1 tile.
Round brick? Eraser or Dick. Eraser has 2x2 tile.
2x2 tile? Eraser, Gordon or Harley. Harley has the unique hair, Gordon has walkie talkie.
Handcuffs? Joker or Barb. Barb has small pieces for the bat-caller.
Rest are unique enough that you shouldn't have issues if you know what you're feeling for.

Now go back to the store and redeem your mistakes.
